I believe that they will send or aid in getting doctors or psychologist for the peopl. Cause for them to take this concerns they will need doctors to guide them and their questions

I don't understand why they didn't do it as well, while they consulted with doctor for something lighter like making sure your nose is real. He sounds like he needs medical consultation. Hope after the show he goes to the doctor. Just because he is always like that since little, doesn't mean he doesn't have illness. Ken is right for asking him blatantly whether he has illness or not.
Yes it definitely sounds a lot like Narcolepsy and quite a severe one. He even fell down the stairs so sleep really hits him even when he's standing somewhere. It's so dangerous, he should not be working at all until he receives proper treatment, but especially not somewhere above the ground. So many things could happen. He might just walk on the streets and suddenly feel sleepy, doze off and fall down. :/
He may have sleep apnea too - the person doesn't realise that they are not breathing while asleep therefore; in reality they only get 2 hours of sleep instead of 8/9.

The second concern .... that's a VERY common symptom of HYPOTHYROIDISM or ( underactive thyroid ) too .. he should go get some tests done !!. My mom used to sleep a lot all of sudden, while we were talking .. while we were in a public place .. in the car.. even standing.. and the end it was so late her thyroid became swallowed (then we noticed too late) and then was needed to be completely removed. *if not it could chock him while breathing and kill the person*. they could give him pills to control it now ... I REALLY hope he sees a doctor before its too late. I have no idea why Koreans/or in hello counselor some medical conditions are being laughed or joked at ...

Hypersomnia makes the patient feel extremely tired all the time which results in sleeping for e.g 48 hours or falling asleep during the daytime while performing tasks. Hypersomnia is an illness itself but it might also be a symptom for another illnesses such as mental illnesses, anemia or hypothyroidism. There's a slight chance he could be suffering from narcolepsy as well (basically narcolepsy makes you fall asleep very suddenly during daytime) but he told that he doesn't feel refreshed after sleeping and a patient suffering from narcolepsy Does feel refreshed after sleeping. Anyways, he NEEDS to pay a visit to the doctor's because he quite obviously has SOME kind of an illness!!!!!

exactly my point. the korean culture is too unaware of mental health and other health issues other than physical .. im korean anditz been really hardfor me, growing up in a western environment so being western by nature but my hardcore korean famirie didnt know ANYTHING. i always got told off about everything that i shouldnt have for a lot of the times

i actually just saw Chess for the first time yesterday (the concert version with josh groban, adam pascal and idina menzel). if the 4 of them can pull off the ending song of act I like josh groban can then wow, kudos to them.

Without a professional diagnosis I would say he definitely has narcolepsy, which many people have never heard of. That being said, he can't help it when he falls asleep. His could be due to a lack of a certain enzyme that we have in our brain and more so one of the triggers is anxiety. Being that he has a fear of heights that is a huge trigger. He needs to seek medical help as there are certain medications that may help him and improve his life. I hope someone in his circle has heard of narcolepsy and urges him to get help. I believe there are some places in the US that may not allow you to drive if you have narcolepsy for the safety of everyone.

I used to be a subber for a while and it seems that adding subtitles on UA-cam videos are easier to do. Hardsubs require some more time in typesetting and encoding. If the translator makes a mistake, the video can't be fixed unless he/she takes it down then re-upload it. However, it can be fixed aa if nothing has ever happened by using the editing tool on UA-cam ;3 I guess the translator has thought about that.
Dawn Lee That's not the reason. KBS WORLD don't sub for fun. It's an actual broadcasting station, uploading their videos here bring in money too but there have been people downloading and uploading their videos on other places which has become a problem. Having raw videos and adding CC subtitles will probably help solving that problem. I'm just thankful they come with up with something to solve this rather then stop posting videos all together.

A lot of countries aren't as familiar and open about mental diseases and different medical conditions like narcolepsy. The doctors and medical professionals may know about it but the general public may not. It's a cultural thing I suppose.

Do the same with my younger bro, since he's chubby and talks like a baby but he's already 7!
for a country where everyone is obsessed with health they sure don't see the obvious signs...even before the guy with the concern on the second concern came out i could tell he had narcolepsy or a similar issue. my dad has narcolepsy and falls asleep if he sits down for a long time, and sometimes it takes him less than a minute to just pass out :/ people think it's no big deal and maybe that person is just tired but it's often caused by other severe health issues like some other commenters mentioned, and obviously there's also the terrifying case of a narcoleptic/someone w a sleeping disorder driving a car....i don't feel safe when my dad drives me places and he chooses not to get treated for his narcolepsy and it's really hampered our relationship...i avoid talking to him and being around him, partially because i don't feel safe with him. hopefully that man can get some real help before it's too late....

Haha this is funniest ep i have watched so far I think the guy with the sleep problem should get himself checked since he involuntarily falls asleeps it might be a medical condition The last concern is so cute tho but I wanna say to the brother, treasure all the love and attention while you can because I am an older sister with a little brother myself and when we were younger my brother and I were really close but an incident happened and we didnt talk for a while and now after we have grown older we have our own lives and we barely talk to each other. So I wanna say that treasure while you can coz once you start pushing the other away it will just accumulate and your relationship will never be as good as before
I am surprised that the man from the second concern never got himself checked out, nor has anyone by his side suggested or took him to seek medical help since he was a child. His condition definitely ain't an acute one and it will only be a matter of time when he puts himself and/or others at a complete risk. If you have an apple device go on settings> accessibility>subtitles & captioning> style, you can pick the style to make the font larger; I sometimes found that when I made the font larger it cut of some of the subtitles, so I had to revert to making the font smaller. My friend's father died due to falling asleep while driving and my friend also got into an accident for the same reason. It's a concern because it can be really dangerous not only for him but for the people around him. It may not be his fault to be sleepy but if doesnt seek help and find solution then it can be his fault too for not doing any action regarding the matter.

I used to be a subber for a while and it seems that adding subtitles on UA-cam videos are easier to do. Hardsubs require some more time in typesetting and encoding. If the translator makes a mistake, the video can't be fixed unless he/she takes it down then re-upload it. However, it can be fixed aa if nothing has ever happened by using the editing tool on UA-cam ;3 I guess the translator has thought about that.
Dawn Lee That's not the reason. KBS WORLD don't sub for fun. It's an actual broadcasting station, uploading their videos here bring in money too but there have been people downloading and uploading their videos on other places which has become a problem. Having raw videos and adding CC subtitles will probably help solving that problem.
I'm just thankful they come with up with something to solve this rather then stop posting videos all together.

I know I'm not the only one who ADORES Sungwoo, he is so damn fine. I don't care about the age difference, I am ridiculously thirsty when it comes to him. I have no shame. Also, for the last concern the 7th grader really was precious. A lot of countries aren't as familiar and open about mental diseases and different medical conditions like narcolepsy. The doctors and medical professionals may know about it but the general public may not. It's a cultural thing I suppose.

First two were concerns and the last one is a small but cute concern! Do the same with my younger bro, since he's chubby and talks like a baby but he's already 7!
for a country where everyone is obsessed with health they sure don't see the obvious signs...even before the guy with the concern on the second concern came out i could tell he had narcolepsy or a similar issue. my dad has narcolepsy and falls asleep if he sits down for a long time, and sometimes it takes him less than a minute to just pass out :/ people think it's no big deal and maybe that person is just tired but it's often caused by other severe health issues like some other commenters mentioned, and obviously there's also the terrifying case of a narcoleptic/someone w a sleeping disorder driving a car....i don't feel safe when my dad drives me places and he chooses not to get treated for his narcolepsy and it's really hampered our relationship...i avoid talking to him and being around him, partially because i don't feel safe with him. hopefully that man can get some real help before it's too late....

His condition definitely ain't an acute one and it will only be a matter of time when he puts himself and/or others at a complete risk. I know it's annoying. If you have an apple device go on settings> accessibility>subtitles & captioning> style, you can pick the style to make the font larger; I sometimes found that when I made the font larger it cut of some of the subtitles, so I had to revert to making the font smaller.

My friend's father died due to falling asleep while driving and my friend also got into an accident for the same reason. It's a concern because it can be really dangerous not only for him but for the people around him. It may not be his fault to be sleepy but if doesnt seek help and find solution then it can be his fault too for not doing any action regarding the matter.
