My fav Shaq story told by Dennis Scott. Teammates in Orlando....but not at the time of the story. Dennis Scott said, that he had swung down at the ball....to of course try to knock the ball out of Shaq's hands. Dennis Scott emphasized that he had done a windup, to swing downward as hard as he could. Ball did not budge, Shaq scored, and Dennis Scott immediately ran off the court into the locker room.....he had separated his shoulder. That's how strong Shaq was/is.

When Shaq was at LSU, they played Duke one game. The noise was DEAFENING to say the least. Guys were going NUTS about this kid from LSU. I had never in my life seen a big man move that fast and dunk that hard. He had a predator mindset, and ruled the paint with an iron fist. Highly aggressive and dominant; definitely a 90’s type player.

This was one of my favorite videos. Shaq was an animal. Its between Kareem, Wilt and Shaq as the Most Dominant Big Men Ever.. Neither was Human. Wilt Bench Pressed 500lbs before every game. Played 48mins a game, Had a 54" vertical.. He was the NCAA National high jump Champion, which verifies the Vertical also he was a Professional Dancer and Volleyball player, Not to mention he beat Jim Brown in a 100meter dash in Jim Browns prime. The block shot wasn't a metric until the mid to late 70s and some say him and Bill Russell averaged over 20 blocks a game. But, Wilt wasn't the steam roller like Shaq. Wilt had a Finesse Game; Mid range step back off one foot, Short Hooks and The best Footwork Arguably in Basketball History; remember Wilt was a Professional Dancer so his footwork was Amazing. The Dream Mimicked Wilts footwork. He got chips, he should have had more, but look at who he was up against. The Celtics had damn near all HOFers on those teams and they Had The First GOAT of Basketball running the show in Bill Russell 'The Greatest winning Athlete of All Time. 11Chips in a 13yrs Career. He should have had 11 MVPs both League and Finals.. But.. Those Awards didn't come around until after his Career was over. Michael Jordan was the Adomu/The New Start of a Cleaner more Marketable NBA. The NBA internationally made people forget its Start and Killed the Legend and Legacy of many GOATs that we have seen in the League. Shaq was Amazing.. But to call his the Most Dominant Ever.. That's Impossible to say. Because now, The Game is Spread wide open. The Big Man is Obsolete if he can't Shoot the three or Guard the Three. His conditioning would have retired him early in this era. Not Wilt and Kareem.. Those Guys had the three levels of the game that is required to Succeed in the Game today. Shaq only Housed Two. Down Low with the Mid range hook floater. And he couldn't shoot free throws. So yes in Today's Game he wouldn't be a Dominant, He wouldn't get as many touches because 3 is worth more than two and An And1 with Shaq would be a gamble, and he would foul out alot, because the Big men of today are Point Forwards. They Handle the rock. Mannn Let me Stop. I'm a true lover on the Game. We can talk BBall all day. Great Video. Make one about Kareem, Oscar Robinson and Wilt. These Guys were Insane. Their Games were Amazing. Wilt would be Greek Freak, Dream, and Kawhi and Dirk in One Person. Tooooo Kold!! Bill Russell was Lebron back then but add Rodman, GP, Kawhi, Charles, Zeek and Scotty P all in one person. You can see where everyone got their Games from when you watch and learn about these Guy. Shoot, Oscar Robinson in the Father of the Cross over dribble(Dribble Master), the Stepback and an Mid Range Master and His IQ was beyond the level of what the NBA could conceive. All these Guys were ABA players first and the ABA destroyed the NBA. The NBA was boring and the ABA like the Negro Baseball League was a Spectacle.. Mannn Let me stop. Peace Family.

Hakeem Olajuwon, Karl Malone & Tim Duncan
Guys he couldn't intimidate and match him basket for basket and rebound for rebound and gave him the business in the playoffs.
In Olajuwon/Malones case he had to wait for them both to age out. And for Tim Duncan he had to wait for kobe bryant to take over those series.

Shaq got alot of big men paid and drafted or signed in free agency since the day he got drafted to Orlando, it doesn't matter if you was good or bad you was almost damn near guaranteed a 10 year career just because if you was in the east you had to see twice in the regular season and if you played in the finals thats an additional 7 games if it goes all 7 so that's at least 9 games you gotta check Shaq, now in the west you gotta see him 4 times in the regular season and at least 7 games in the playoffs so that at least 11 games and vice versa depending on what conference Shaq is in

@@lorenzoyoung698 That was his 11th season and he was 32 years old in the 95 Finals.
We all saw Shaq at 32.....overweight and on his 3rd team and despite being carried by Wade, unable to get past Detroit. He was a 20ppg scorer in the regular season and playoffs. He wasnt averaging no 30+ppg in the playoffs like Dream was at that age.
If someone gonna say Shaq was "young" then Hakeem was "old". Shaq at 32 wasn't good enough to lead a team anywhere near a title.

When I think of the Lakers, I think Shaq, not Kobe and I hated the Lakers as a Spurs fan! Now, I respect the dominance of the big man and a true fan of his big heart today!
