My old band played a winners party for a Conservative M.P a few years ago (The money was great!! He had to be readmitted due to being released to early and now it’s caused a perforated appendix but they can’t take it out due to complications from the meds he’s taking I.e blood thinners injected non stop daily aswell as some other medications aswell as a combination of pain meds.He was coughing up blood at one point.
It is my brother too. I sat in a and e with him for 10 hours and see him regularly. The consultant has told us it’s ok covid related. I think if there is a vaccine available that is not perfect but increases your immunity to this nasty insidious virus I will take it. It’s the one thing he didn’t do.
So in all honesty, I hope you and your family are one of the lucky ones that doesn’t have to go through this because it’s a living nightmare. Anecdotal, yes, but true.

100% it's because of technology and social media. I'm 22 and work in a technological idustry (game art) and I can see everyone in my field is depressed and doesn't have anything good to talk about. Because everyone has spent their entire lives on a computer, alone, looking at things better than their reality and also seeing the worst of reality that DOES involve them. It's so sad and it will all be gone eventually when a solar flare event EMPs all technology out of action. I had been practising as a RGN in the NHS for 7 years before the Tories entered government again in 2010.
Within 6 months they began a major hatchet job on the NHS beginning with the Trust I was working in at the time - Herefordshire. We were the guinea pigs for their plan - hack and slash. Over the remaining nine years I was in the NHS, I saw a health service brought to within an inch of its existence and that was before Covid struck. Goodness knows what it must be like working in it today.
Austerity was due to Labours financial irresponsibility.
