    This makes me so happy. As a Kashmiri Pandit myself, it pains me when chefs all over cook some random mutton curry and call it roganjosh. But this is perfect… this is the video that made me subscribe to your channel. Thank you for this. And keep up the good work!

      Bhai logo lot of Brahmin follow regional dietary practices. It is myth Hindu Dharm promotes veg food.. it was changed because of Jainism and Buddhism . Enjoy. Stay healthy:

    Love how beautifully YFL is integrating the indian states, culinarily. Be that through an Undhiyu or a Rogan josh...a Mutton kolhapuri or a Dal dhokli, a Jhal Muri or a Saag Meat, Sanjyot goes all out to keep the recipes true to their taste. I wish yfl also considers those states that remain overlooked in that dept. like Odisha, The Seven Sisters, etc. etc. I hope that this year onwards, these states also find their representation on this wonderful channel. 🌷

    I have this at least once a week especially in winters. Must say this is as authentic as it gets. Although ratanjot or cockscomb flower only add color and do nothing to the taste. Even without the blood red color it tastes fab. Nicely done chef!

    Hey Sanjyot….I am following your channel since 4 years now. I am a Kashmiri pandit and felt so good after I saw this video. One quick tip for all in order to save lot of time replace Kadhai with pressure cooker and you can cook mutton in no time 😊 thank you sanjyot…keep growing and all the best👏👏

    Actually i was looking for the comment from you in the video that there are two types of mutton roganjosh ,one made by my community (kashmiri pandit) one by kashmiri muslims. that's a deep research ,much love from J&K

    I have made this recipe at my home place . this was my first time i have made mutton rogan josh as per your advice on video .. definitely it is simple recipe and taste was different i can say that 70 to 80 % taste was good . actually there were no tomato , ad ark, la soon ka paste no onion ..with out this all product my first experience was good .. i will try it again and again to make this recipe more better so that i can give more best taste in it 100% Thanks

    Hi Chef. I have tried this recipe twice and it's a major hit with my girls and husband. It's a family favorite although my daughters don't eat very spicy food but when it comes to this recipe, they will eat. 😂

    This is so beautiful! I love Kashmiri food but some of it is pretty technical ! Do make the Goshtaaba and mutton yakhni - the precision cooking u do - only u can nail it perfectly !

    Authentic recipe no doubt. Loved watching the recipe. But the special spice which is used to enhance the red colour…..I think it would be difficult to get it in Dhaka, Bangladesh!
