Thank you so much for you and your videos. I took my 7 year old grandson down to the bay and we caught our two limits in less than an hour. He loved it!! 16:10

That was a nice clinic on which lures/bait were working well. It was interesting to hear the call for the inbound bus to Wenatchee. Many decades ago I lived in Wenatchee and then East Wenatchee. Our family would spend at least a week at Lake Chelan camping in the summers. We also did a bit of fishing at Evergreen Reservoir catching tons of perch.
Try the storm wild eye curly tail minnow. 1/64 oz. Such a awesome bait for crappie bass and the trout cant resist. 4 lb. Line. Only at walmart. Has to be the curly tail not the paddle tail. My favorite all time bait.
I enjoyed watching this video. You have good knowledge of electronic fish finders. Will have to try next year and see how it goes. Like watching to see what kind of fake bate and hooks you are using. I'm always trying to fish smarter, lol
Im not to familiar with the area, where are some good public docks on chelan that you would recommend? And thank you your videos have helped me be a better kokanee fisherman!!
Are you allowed to keep trout in your area this time of year, or is it catch and release only? Trout are really good eating but I noticed you released all of them here and on the recent ice fishing videos. I'm curios if you're releasing them because it's mandatory or just because you already have a freezer full with all the fishing you do. Also I live in Shawano County in Wisconsin. Do you have any suggestions on how to find good fishing spots like that in my area? The only lakes I know of are very well known and usually busy. I'm hoping to find a nice quiet secluded spot like you tend to find. The ice was finally starting to get decent around here, almost a foot thick then we had temps in the 40's and over 3" of rain over the past 3 days. Still in the 40's but looks like daytime highs in the teens and single digits overnight starting next weekend for the next week or so. I'm hoping that freezes all the standing water and gets things back to decent conditions.
I generally don't keep trout because I have a freezer full of salmon and don't enjoy the taste of trout as much although I do eat steelhead. I'm not too familiar with Wisconsin fisheries so I can't help you much there.
Have you ice fished Cascade Lake in Idaho for jumbo perch? If not, you’ve got to get out there. Mid to late January is best. DM me if you need specifics.
@ I’m feeling nice. Here’s some tips. Fish 15-25 feet of water. Bigger bait works better Flashy baits work better (perch colored) Jig near the bottom. Fish will strike when the jig falls downwards. First light and late evening are most productive. Move, move, move. Don’t sit on one spot unless it’s productive. If you aren’t catching fish, move. Set the hook immediately. Perch are aggressive and will not nibble. But they will spit out if you wait too long. Talk to Tackle Toms before you fish. They will give reliable information because it’s good for their business.
I've never fished it. Its a lot of $$ to spend for perch that are on the average only just a bit bigger than my local big perch lake. Maybe if my channel actually takes off at some point I'll be able to justify the cost.
@@Lord_Crofts thanks! I’ve been wanting to make it out there for years now but it’s hard to justify a 7hr drive. But the way the ice is forming in Utah this season ID may be my closest perch fishery on the hard deck

I love how good you have become at making these videos. Great video and sound clarity. Keep them coming!
I’m convinced you’ve mastered the trout fishery in Washington.
What an amazing fishery!! Thanks for sharing with all of us cabin fever folks!!

Thank you for showing people to pinch their barb. It’s such a good practice for everybody to do regardless if it’s allowed or not.
reward for the hardy! thanks for another fish catching video!
Luv Lake Chelan ❤️
Thank you for sharing.
You aren't joking about that dock being slippery. I hit the deck walking down it a week ago. Those fish are fun!
one of these weekends I will have to convince the wife for a 200 mile road trip.
You got me pumped to try our Lake Sammamish method trolling Mag Lips and Needle Fish there. I bet there are some 5-6 lb or better Cutts in Chelan.

I was wondering when you were gonna dump that net in the water.
if this was seattle, hundreds of people would be fishing these docks 24/7
Looks like a great fly fishing spot!
What is that obstacle in the water right in front of your fishing spot?
Dead tree trunk..
One bait better than what you are using. We use what you are showing to slow the bite down. Those cutthroat and excellent smoked.
Apparently there ae smallmouths around those docks too.
In the summer they move up there yes.
Nice, what weight jig were you fishing?
1/16 oz

I've done well at the dam dock, the state park, fields landing, and manson.
What docks/marina is this?

Muy Bueno
What rod are you using? Length and action? Looks like a great way to have fun while waiting for the hard water to arrive!
All linked in the description.
What's up with the Mythosaur in the water?
The Dragon of Lake Chelan
Seriously… looks like a mammoth skull. I’m sure the boaters love it!
Isn't it against the law to have THAT much fun? ;-)

I’d like specifics ✋
