A neuroscientist's perspective on Neuralink, Elon Musk, and Brain-Computer Interfaces

It's been a while since I've uploaded a real video, but once I saw this I knew I had to say something! I have a lot of thoughts, so here's most of them. In this video I give some perspective to what's going on with Neuralink and the fact that other (more qualified) people have been working on this for the last 20 years! Elon kept saying that the neuralink chip will give the blind back their eyesight, and I kept thinking, "how can you give someone something they've never had?" I had a traumatic brain injury which resulted in me having low vision, the right side of my face being numb, and other weird things hard to explain. I would not get that chip.
