I went fishing yesterday the crappie are on fire here in NC and yes the bg1 in 1.25 g # 10 hook was poison on a cheap temu bait . Thanks for a great jig head .

I bought the 7' Diawa Presso rod on your recommendation and could not be happier with it, I want to say its my favorite spinning rod I have ever used for ultralight fishing. I recall you saying in one of your videos that if you are hard on your tackle, you may not want to get the Presso. Well, I have shamefully broken the tip of my favorite spinning rod (fishing trip with my dog) - could you recommend another UL spinning rod that's "as good" as the 7' Presso in action and performance, but perhaps just a bit sturdier? I would keep buying them, but afraid I would just keep breaking it with how fragile the graphite tips are.
Yes. Watch my 2024 Reel Buying Guide. There is Okuma rod recommended there that is a bit glassier and stronger. And then the new Shimano Sensilite A is even stronger. But they don't feel as finessy

half a year ago, I asked you about the fishing reel step up from the legalis and you got the shimano ultegra. which reel is one step above ultegra? I watched a lot of videos, but I'm short on budget? is it ballistic? I need a reel with smooth operation
Every reel in my Reel buying guide has a 100% smooth operation, even the cheapest! If we are talking about ultralight fishing, above ultegra is Vanford family (4 reels) and Luvias family (2 reels). Watch my video called 2024 Reel Buying Guide

Very good video Victor. Your 1 gr BG1 worked well for me Saturday. I cast a bank just over 100 yards and caught 9 gills over 9” in 45 minutes. I gave your jigs a lot of compliments. They work much better than my lighter jigs in a bit of breeze and they don’t miss when the fish hit. Looking forward to the next one……Tim

I showed that 3 videos ago.. I just opened the drag, replaced the carbon with felt, and greased the felt.. Check for video called Kestrel with smooth drag
@@ifishcatfishHow come you used felt for the drag? Usually people replace there drags and go to a better carbon if there drag is cheap.
@@PennNative Carbon may have advantages for bass fishing and catfishing, but it is very inconsistent. I need SMOOTH RELEASE, not power. For smooth drag carbon sux, even in big reels. People are in general not very smart. All of the most expensive reels in small sizes come with felt.
What is the clip you're talking about and how do we set it up?
You just put the jig on the clip, and then tie the clip. It allows the jig to wiggle freely. If u do it u will see right away what i mean..

Awesome video yet again! Got my slip floats the other day, and hoping to use them this weekend! I used the fixed floats and must say they are the best floats ive used. Didnt catch any monsters, but id rather catch dink gills and crappie versus getting skunked! And what cheap chinese plastic were you using 😅
i don't want to send people to buy this junk.. its no good. I'm just experimenting with everything before i make my own lure.

Go fishing when you can 😁😁 I got some big. Bluegill and crappie yesterday on the bg-1 and a small swimbait and the I-fish float . And some crappie on a white bucktail

@@ifishcatfish sounds a little odd doesn't it 😀. Fishing a channel with a slimy bottom. And catching them all the way against the bank in less than a foot of water and the middle of the channel is only 2 feet , I have to slow drag 10-12" under the float. Until yesterday fish up here we're really lethargic.

I just got them today and they are BETTER than the last batch! I will update the inventory in a couple of hours!
i actually connected with a bearing company that did the bearings per my requirements. I don't think there are other ABEC7 steel bearings out there. There are abec7 ceramic bearings, but they are too loud to put on the main shaft. I can do miracles working with this company now..
