I usually laugh at these diy creations, though one can tell this man put some thought into his creation. You have a functional lever arm that has little change in the Arc as you press. This means you used a long enough arm for a proper press. Good job, God Speed.
Mate, you have just made my day and I thank you so much! I am planning to build my own power rack out of wood and I wanted to add the arms of my multi-gym to the rack ,just as you show here and also, mount a belt-squat just like yours in your other vid - have even made a model version of it, and only now I can see how it will work! Thank you and keep your vids coming!
Thanks. I had to look that one up - never heard about that. But I'd say it's quite the same as this viking press - it could be used in the same way at least.
Martin Jensen I agree. I like how your viking press / car deadlift attachment can be attached at different levels. It looks like you could easily do leverage bench press, shoulder and incline press using the same concept.
It's not currently on my list. I make equipment for my self to use, and I've never really used leg curl/extensions (i know how it look and works). If I were to build it, I'd probably do something like this: Set up a tower like low row (see my video on pulley setup) - then the cable would be attached to a plate on which the bar+foam for the leg is mounted eccentric. The plate will be mounted on a structure (some as the cable setup), but able to rotate (from the center of plate). Then something to sit on (an adjustable bench would work). I might keep it in mind and perhaps make a video, but again it's not something that I'll be using in my gym.
Thats awesome I'm gonna use in my diy wood gym too

Any chance of the items needed please. I was struggling with the commentary (I'm partial deaf). Kind Regards
Good job! When the leg extension/leg curl coming?
