The fight is cool, but I think the secret sauce to Twindrive is the interview at the beginning of the game. You're literally building an encyclopedia of backgrounds for all of our favorite Vanguard UA-camrs as well as the history of the game. As someone wanting to enter that space, maybe I can get on the channel one day. I need A LOT more traction before that though 😅
I thought Igni would find this funny. A collection of all the different named dragonic overlord's throughout vanguard's history, in no particular order. Dragonic Overlord Dragonic Overlord "The Destiny" Dragonic Overlord "The Legend" Dragonic Overlord "The Яe-birth" Dragonic Overlord "The TurnAbout" Dragonic Overlord "The X" Dragonic Overlord the End Dragonic Overlord the Great Dragonic Overlord "The Victory" (this one is technically a prize card that can't be played in the game, but names go brrr) Perdition Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord the Great Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord "the Ace" Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord "The Purge" So a total of 12 different dragonic overlord names XD So happy to see you enjoying this game igni and I'm loving the content!
It’s great having this entertaining content with hearing more of Fuzzy’s story and all of the banter! I’ve seen him often in person at a locals of mine for a while and somewhat doubted for a while that he was /the/ Fuzzy Paradox, but just hearing that by now familiar enthusiasm for the game and just how much he’s provided to the VG community makes me feel all the more honored to meet him! Keep up the amazing work on this channel, and I know that you’ll be inspiring for players in your own way!
I can resonate with Fuzzy just because I have been playing Vanguard since the first week of its release, back in 2011, and my first deck being Overlord. I have continuously have played every version of Overlord and will continue to do so till they stop making him
Nice! Another Igni- i mean, Mr. Twindrive video!!! As a vanguard player that started playing the ccg shadowverse to experience the good story that found you along the way and got me locked in shadowverse for quite a while, I'm very happy seeing you trying out vanguard like frfr. Most people only touch it for a while and disappear. So I'm happy to be here seeing my fav shadowverse cc to be playing my fav tcg (tho it's the only tcg i play)
Poor Igni, going through it against Overlords. It’s such a cool OG deck that basically gives Dragon Empire (OT) its identity. I also love the post-game discussion - as a newer player trying to get better and go to tournaments I’m definitely taking notes to improve. And shout out to Fuzzy too! I love theorycrafting and deck building and having all the top deck lists for the decks I might want to build in one place has really helped me get more ideas for spicy techs I might want to try and run in my own decks. 😊
Dragonic Overlorrrdd!! Letzzz goooo!!! Anime w for my favourite edgy Kai deck! Top 2 fav deck for me, now we just need someone to bring up Maelstrom and GranBlue and I will be a happy man for Igni
Apparently let's just wait for maelstrom too be playable too get his decent support and glory maelstrom after the 2nd season or 3rd season of divinez anime especially after the card revealed for DZ Booster Set 4 and 5 or after the card revealed for DZ Booster Set 7 and 8 so their might be a chance for glory maelstrom too make a his comeback from next filler set or next year of 2025 filler set in D standard for neither DZ Booster Set 6 or 9 Depends so keep that in mind that they will announced new product for December this week of September hopefully it will be DZ Booster Set 6
I'm just waiting for them to eventually bring back Mordred Phantom and DOtR to support the old encounter stuff. It probably won't happen but still come on gimme Mordred he cool.
Summary for today's video guest deck (please read after the you have finished watching the video) Dragonic Overlord is a deck from dragon empire nation whose main focus is to overwhelm your opponent with mutiple vanguard attacks and rear guards that grows bigger the more the vanguard attacks. In it's current ilteration, Dragonic Overlord has two form, which is "Dragonic Overlord" And "Dragonic Overlord the End". " Dragonic Overlord the End" has an effect where it grow stronger if there is a "Dragonic Overlord" Card in the soul. Some notable supports from this deck help achieve this playstyle. Burning Horn dragon is a g2 card that help searches "Dragonic Overlord the End" For persona ride or "Dragonic Overlord" For the end skill. It also becomes big the more the vanguard attacks. Ardor Hatchet dragon is g2 unit thats allow "Dragonic Overlord" To be put from drop into soul, thereby unleashing "Dragonic Overlord the End" Full power while also being a pretty good defensive unit. Dragritter, Halbe is a g1 unit where if it would be discarded for "Dragonic Overlord the End" Skill it counts as 2 cards, allowing the player to keep their handsize relatively healthy while also calling itself to back row circle, becoming a booster for the next vanguard or rear guard attacks. Dragonic overlord is an iconic card that has been around since the beginning of the cardfight vanguard game. While it is not the most meta deck in the current set, dragonic overlord will always poses threat to its opponents as we will never know if they will check two blanks or two crits instead. Hopefully this video helps you to find your true vanguard, allowing you to enjoy the game even more!!
So fuzzy doesnt have youtube channerl then? Im so new to vanguard too its only been my 5th day getting into Dear Days and im hooked. Currently using Bastion Prime deck cuz the Keter Sanctuary kinda give the mixture vibe of Swordcraft and Havencraft and trying to beat all the story mode matches. Just trying out the vanguard because the art looks cool and I remembered watching the OG anime too back in the day even though I was like 9 or 10 and didnt know the rules. While waiting for Shadowverse Worlds Beyond next year and kinda tired of throwback rotation in Shadowverse format rn, Im trying to get into physical Vanguard too with getting Keter Sanctuary starter deck (Swordcraft enjoyer after all) tho pretty bummed out cuz I found out that the Bastion starter deck was the old overdress one from 2+ years back I believe so Im just going to get Divinez Keter Sanc deck then.
All I can say to people wanting to start Vanguard, if you think you suck , why not try other nations? According to the OG anime, each character has their own clans/nations that resonate with them, making them easier to sacks. I for instance was having the struggle of my life starting Vanguard with Aqua Force, then Royal Paladins, Gold Paladins until I lay my hands on Kagero and it becomes my main clan. Even in D-series, I main Dragon Empire and oh boy, the Dragon wouldn't let me down with the amount of heals and OT I needed at crucial times.
I used to play Yugioh back when I was a kid, I still do very occasionally with my newer photon deck, which is nice, but I’ve never had a deck truly resonate with me in Yugioh, and then, I opened my TV, in my country you have this channel that back in the day used to air all kinds of TCG anime, product anime, such as Yugioh, Bakugan, LBX, Battlespirits, and then, one day, I saw Cardfight Vanguard, the first episode I came across, was the one where Kai went against a member of Team Handsome, as I saw the Kagero units he used, I was completely feeling that that was the type of deck I had wanted to play for so long, ironically I was bummed out I saw the original overlord, but then he grew on to me, I originally thought he was human sized hey I was still a kid, the end came out, and he finally clicked, I loved playing DDDDOTE, even if Vanguard in my country’s language has shut down, I plan to make an overlord deck someday in one of the formats
16:05 it is really not hard for Overlord to come back super meta. If MLB got their BBTV to make them very much tournament playable, overlord have more options than that to make a come back. 57:57 I love to add something about Damage denying, it is quite high level stuff imo. But it is like what fuzzy said, you keep them on the edge, at 3 damage, thanks to Beni +1 crit, if you reveal a crit trigger it is enough to put them at 6. The other is hurting their resources. For example, Razael call up to 2 cards with grade = to # of cards in damage, keeping them at 3 would force them to call grade 2 grade 1 or grade 3 grade 0, which is a much easier to guard against grade 3 grade 2. Nation like Brandt gate is known to eat CB like no tmr, this would hurt them as well. So with this strat you have more time to pin the opponent or build up a better hand. We used to do that in LB era, keeping enemy away from 4 so they can't use their full strength.
The other name for kagero, the clan where dragonic overlord reside, is the dragonic overlord, the clan. Because if you aint overlord the chances your deck would be relevant is also none. Its even still a thing in premium format.

Perdition Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord the Great
Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord "the Ace"
Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord "The Purge"
So a total of 12 different dragonic overlord names XD So happy to see you enjoying this game igni and I'm loving the content!
Me over here remembering a YuGiOh chess game for the PS2
Wasn’t that with capsule monsters? Or am I thinking of a different game?
@@The_Sunion I think they're referring to duelists of the roses

53:26 That is a true Overlord and Kai Toshiki moment ever! Great fight you guys
I can resonate with Fuzzy just because I have been playing Vanguard since the first week of its release, back in 2011, and my first deck being Overlord. I have continuously have played every version of Overlord and will continue to do so till they stop making him
LET'SGO THANK YOU for the card text on screen during the match. That makes the match WAY more enjoyable to watch and to learn the decks. thanks ^-^
The mural is such a great idea, and I'm genuinely enjoying this series so far! Can't wait for the continuation of Beni vs the world!
That was a fun watch! I look forward to the next video!

What's Dragon Empire/ Dragoncraft ? It's all Draconic Overload
Nice, I like the "postmortem" of the game and realizing what could have been done better. It's a good skill.
Great to see a Classic deck, I hope we get to see a Royal/Golden/Shadow Paladin deck.
Especially considering how much Focus they had in the OG anime
I'm just waiting for them to eventually bring back Mordred Phantom and DOtR to support the old encounter stuff. It probably won't happen but still come on gimme Mordred he cool.
