I first found your channel when looking for some knife sharpening instruction and since have been one of many I’m sure who has welcomed your invitation into some parts of your life. We have come to know your family, your joys and sad moments also. To see the growth of your businesses with the knives and now mechanical and fabrication is most interesting. I for one welcome your new content and thank you for sharing.
Taking an overview of your empire is great but please keep the channel mainly for your wonderful knives . I love them , could never afford to own one but just looking is amazing .
Thank you
Dave
Love seeing all the different videos on everything!
I enjoy "a day in the life" type of video.
Thanks Kyle
Oh man, that forge finish is a thing of beauty ! I officially have knife envy now 😂
Such awesome creations Kyle, kudos brother 🙏👍
I just got the custom featured at 12:45, holy smokes it looks even better in my hands. I'm definitely ordering more knives in the future, thanks Kyle!
I like seeing a quick shop update
Hey Kyle,
Long time sub here. I've always enjoyed the large variety of content you've included over the years from family time(s), Reno's, to hiking, biking and outdoor recreation, knife and leather work and most recently the shop stuff. I think a nice mixture of natural and shop background noise as well as some music dubs would be perfect.
All the best Kyle, hope you continue to grow and prosper.
👍👍
Kyle, I'd like to see knife and leather production from start to finish (including refurbishments) with a liberal sprinkling of the mechanic work and your family (inc. fishing, boat trips, and breakfasts on an open fire). It's nice to see you as a rounded character and not just a knife maker. A community member, a father, a husband, a son and a brother (I note that your brother is very slowly developing a speaking role - well done him). Chicken keeper, too!
Wow that is a lot to ask hahah but i agree.
Yes the truck shop life content is great!
Love the channel sir 😊
Love the content Kyle. Knives and the normal shop activities. Take care.
I’m interested in the whole works, Kyle. Enjoying your videos and your witness.
Love to see all the work
Knife content is my vote.
Lots of mecanic channels. Very few channels can craft knives such as your channel.
I ordered a Wharncliffe EDC probably several days after you made this video and seeing some in this video has me more excited than then. As far as content goes, I only watch your videos to see knife related things. However, anytime any video starts showing things I don't care about I skip that part, stop paying attention until they get to the part I'm looking for or watch something else. That being said, you seem like a good human and the non-knife stuff doesn't bother me enough to skip the whole video.
Love your Vids. Vids without Music, well that just rocks!
I would like to see the work in the shop ! Also the knife builds
Would love to see all the projects
I personally like the variety.
Knives,Knives,Knives, Nothing but Knives.
Great looking knives Kyle I like all the stuff you post don’t always need to be just blades
I like that you can mix projects but I’d like to have some that are only knife work
I want to see everything and knives sharpening and sheaths and maybe different sheath designs
Very beautiful work kyle, well done. 👌To answer your question at the start: I like all the content you release. I appreciate your positive energy and you have a great attitude, your videos brighten up my day. Keep up the great work. ☺🙏 Take care and Cheers!
Don't matter what videos you show or do it's all awesome I don't mine the knife stuff but I am more into what your brother is doing but you can mix it up with a full video of your brother fixing cars trucks whatever he's working on or family stuff it's all great stuff that you put out cheers
Knives, auto, hunting and fishing
Yes- your work is very diverse
I’m interested in the knives but I spent 33 years in a tool and die shop So I don’t mind seeing how your business is doing My family’s business was molds for rubber parts for the auto industry but we also bought restored and sold machinery and had an aluminum pressure casting business There was always some interesting stuff going on
BtW Your knives are works of art
Kyle, How do you stamp your letters in your blades?
I like seeing what is going on in the shop but like the knife and sheath building the best . No music is OK with me .
As a grandpa , I like to sometimes see the kids too .
I come here for the knife content
I know your knives are probably as tough as nails but I don’t think I could ever carry something that beautiful into the woods with me. Someday I’m going to have you make me something special. Just not right now. Financial tough times for me currently.
I like shop and life updates, but I don’t really care about the different cars visiting the shop. I like the raw sounds. A mix of raw sounds and music could also work
What’s going on in the shop is fine, but it’s really about knife content for me. Your knives are beautiful and I also like that it’s not all about super steels. There are many ingot steels out there that have a strong place. Thanks for asking. 🎸🔪
Only the knife part
I don't mind, maybe add chapters into the video so people can choose themselves? I have seen it on other videos, I don't know how easy it is to do .
Video's 17 minutes old .... AND still I'm first .... heading to the next million views
I like the updates on the business but I want the large majority to be knife sharpening and forging and restorations.
Hello, I like see knives and leather products only
Love the mix up of content! Also love the shop sounds! Keep up the great work.
I prefer unedited, raw footage, less work for you and genuine experience for the viewers. I came for the knives, but everything else is fine too. :)
Well said!
I like the format! I don't think you can go wrong with mixing things up now and again. I'd love to hear some details on things you use around the shop, like what type of compound you use on your polishing wheel, what type of wheel is it, types of oils, sandpaper, etc. I find that sort of information very useful because I can apply it to projects myself. Love the channel!
👍 Great video. I just bought the Yellow Fox with worm wood, bog oak, blue curly maple knife. Anxiously awaiting delivery. Reminds me of the old Marbles Woodcraft knife. Beautiful.
Dude we enjoy watching anything you do 😁 either separate shop and k life sharpening videos or a mix of the two I’ll be watching either way. 👍👍👍👍
I prefer to watch The Knives but whatever you decide to post I will watch. I always enjoy your videos. And would prefer not to have no music. I watch your videos for educational reasons. But again most likely I will still watch them no matter what. I am retired and I have a boring life now, lol. Thumbs up to you and your videos always.
Hey Kyle, just do a mix of what you want. If something is interesting in your world give us a video. I watched you rebuild a piano and your flatbed along with the knife work. I always appreciate the way you tackle all your different projects.
While I’m here for the knives, I’m ok with the extra shop footage. Fun to see! Perhaps switching up the title depending on if it’s only a knife vid vs. a workshop vlog?
Great work!
Personally I really enjoy the extra non-knife content you share.
Perhaps a weekly dedicated Knife Build video interspersed with seperate Behind the Scenes vids could be a way to approach it.
Some Tubers do a seperate B channel, but imho that's messy and unnecessary.
I've been watching various UA-cam channels for almost the entire life of UA-cam (16 years), and a couple channels for almost that whole time. I see you as a shrew businessman, so know that I state this with no personal emotion. UA-cam is TV and your channel is just that, a channel. Many shows can exist on a channel, but what succeeds is what viewers watch, and if a show is unsuccessful, it's cut from the line-up. I think you could let the videos speak for themselves; instead of asking your audience to voice their opinions in the comments, separate your content, and if one type of content is unsuccessful, show less of it. Just like TV, though, this still leaves room for personality. I see no reason for you to stop showing clips of your family or excursions, or sharing some of your personal life, this will help you build a community around your channel (which I see that you already have, so a larger community). If you find that some content doesn't bring the views that you hoped for, but you genuinely want to share the content, maybe cap-end the successful videos with it so that you can still share but not interrupt the focus of your video.
How do most of your large vehicles and machines get shipped to you there?- I love to watch your craftsmanship
hello, i don't really dislike de "miscellaneous" content, by i personnaly come here to see knife making content. :)
Those wharncliffes are truly a thof beauty. Some nice products there. As far as the content goes, I'm pretty much interested on anything you put out. Have always watched every video start to finish. Gonna ask th wife for a tradesman or at least a bakeapple for a bday gift this summer. Keep the hard work hard, and the rewards will always follow.
I've always liked the way you do your videos, it's like "A Day in the Life of Kyle" and completely different from other knife videos.
The real sounds of work and daily tasks are much better than music. You get a much better feel of what´s going on daily.
I enjoy seeing your success and the family as well. Keep up the great content.
I’m excited to get my hands on your work and see your edges up close and feel how they cut
I would like to see more knives being sharpend
First to care...like the old days. Herbert
I love the knife stuff but I also like to see when a business grows. What I am saying is I mostly want to see the knife builds but also keep up on the rest of the shop.
Yeah, show what you care about, the lack of music is not a problem for me!
Really like your knives, very cool
Show ot at the end.
I would like to see it all
YES I DO
I like the new format, the shop sounds are wonderful. The additional content with the auto shop projects are A+.
Nah, knife only content can get kinda boring. I like lifestyle/family/ship vlogs from wholesome people.
The wharncliffe edc models are easily my favorite. You are an amazing craftsman Kyle!! Which is an understatement….Thanks for sharing this! I hope all is well with your family!
Kyle, I really enjoy and prefer all aspects of the knife/leather/restoration shop. That said, I enjoy seeing the family, the overall shop growth, and the outdoorsy things you add in. It shows you to be a hardworking family man. I appreciate that. Learning that you are also a musician was a pleasant surprise. Obviously, we've never met, but over the last few years, I have come to view you as a friend. A buddy. Someone I could hang out and jam with, as well as learn some things from. I support your channel as much as possible. Keep up the hard work and great content. You are appreciated.
