Yall young ladies give me so much hope for the future of this world. I have 3 sons between 19 and 25 and I can only pray they find precious women like you ! Such a sweet Q & A. ( I am an old soul too, well older than I am (45) I love real old music ( talking Hank Williams Sr), country cooking, gardening and my soul longs to get out of even this small city and get up in the deeper mountains. I do have the privilege of being an Appalachia girl born and bred. Keep up the good work ladies, I see this channel growing and growing! Much love from North East Alabama.
Will listen all day to you playing…the practice, in church service’s, love it when you choose different places to play and sing your songs. You are very talented girls being sisters and just thank twins too!
Y'all, I studied music. Undergrad Voice degree. But lots of the joy I get from watching and hearing you is because its all so authentic and you are mostly self taught.
I loved Hank Williams Sr! Gene Watson, Patty Page, Kitty Wells, Patsy Cline, Carpenter's, Air Supply, Kenny Rogers... Got carried away there! I really do enjoy listening to you girls and your family. Thank you all for sharing 😊
didn’t realize the folks that watched yalls channel the most were 65+. guess ima old soul too with y’all. i’m 29 and long to see our appalachian music and heritage preserved. i love all the old ways and old things.
Loved this Q&A video. You girls are the bomb!! :) And yes Katie, Cracker Barrel rocks! Who doesn't like southern home cooking, and a store full of fun things to see. Old timey candies are my favorites. Corie I am picturing you as a bride and you are going to be stunning. God Bless you girls. We will be watching. :)
You got it right! It is Corie. And thank you so much, she can’t wait to get married. Also yes that old timey candy gets me every time!! Thank you friend!!!
You guys are truly blessed your whole family This is the way life was meant to be you guys have taught me a lot about gardening and cooking my wife and I love your mother in the kitchen teaching the old ways of cooking Your Sunday morning songs Are totally a blessing I am a missionary for a small Church in Monrovia Liberia I send your videos to this church they are blessed too with your worship songs Keep your eyes on the prize girls you are truly blessed
I get to be first! It's my first time being first. This was posted 5 minutes ago and you have 38 views already. You guys are getting popular pretty fast. It's fun to watch this channel grow, it's well deserved and it's nice to see a channel with decent values do well in the middle of so much sludge. CONGRATS ON 6K!!
The Wilson Brothers didnt travel as much as they could have, seems it has passed down . When ya'll said big fish in a small pond that brought the Wilson Brothers to mind. Keep doing what yall are doing.
You girls crack me up from your personalities to your outlook on life. Now, since you brought up the subject…you both are old souls in a young body but that’s fine with me. Yes dear ladies I am almost 63 and I NEVER miss your vlogs. You always enlighten and entertain me and Korie you’d best not fizzle out when you join your mate in your own home for I would surely miss you!!! Now…I was taken back in time when you mentioned Gordon Lightfoot because he was playing on the apple pod while I was listening to you girls answering the questions sent to you. The reason being before my 3rd back surgery my Hunny of 41 years and I would trek up the mitten into the UP to the Whitefish Point Shipwreak Museum and Gordon’s music plays as you are looking at all the history of Lake Superiors underwater graveyards. My husbands Uncle was suppose to be on the Edmund Fitzgerald when it went down but was pulled off in Duluth Minnesota with appendicitis requiring emergency surgery. We always say a small prayer every year on the anniversary of that particular tragedy for every family effected by it. Every time I hear Gordon sing the wreak of the Edmund Fitzgerald it brings a tear to my eye and a bit of heaviness in my heart. But I too love his music. I did have a question but forgot to submit it so I’m gonna ask it now, does your dad play music at all or is he not gifted in that area? Both my son and daughter can play instruments including baritone, cello, viola, piano and they both learned to read music but neither of us can play as much as the rubber band. So I have wondered about your father and did he give you any musical genes. I started out reading the Blind Pig and Acorn almost from Moms beginning and have been following her ever since and it’s quite interesting to see new generations of the same family and learn about the culture. Girls, my favorite shows are the Waltons and Gunsmoke. Never miss them if I can help it and that is all the tv I watch. I watch mostly UA-cam and the only other thing I peek onto is Pinterest as I’m a cross-stitcher that loves to cook!!! Looking forward to more music and peeks into you girls as you grow into your own world. By the way, those chickens were very entertaining in the background. I LOVE chickens!!!:):):)
Thank you so much for sticking with us all for so long! We will make sure corie stays around! And I just adore Gordon Lightfoot so much. The Edmund Fitzgerald is one of my favorites. I hope to visit the museum one day and see Whitefish point. And your story is so chilling. That appendicitis saved his life. So eerie. I too think of those families every anniversary of the day. We hope your back is feeling good! Thank you so much for your support it means the world! Also my daddy played the guitar and sang to us as kids. He can still play and his dad could too. I’m sure we got some of our music from him (though he wouldn’t admit it). And yes the Waltons! What a good one! We love Pinterest too and those chickens are such a mess. But we love them!
I forgot to tell Katie that we would come out the door of the shipwreck museum and walk over to the Lake Superior shore a pick stones to bring home. A treasure trove there are. I can just see Katie picking up many many many of them.
Great video as always girls. Huge fan of your family’s content. The world is absolutely a better place with people like you all in it. Your parents did a wonderful job raising two stand up young women with talent, drive and character. Kudos to them both. I’m Katie’s biggest fan. I hope you find that simple home in the woods, making your music and art... You will make someone a very lucky man and I have no doubt he will be a great person if he passes the test with you and your mother and father. Stay wonderful and goofy, genuine people are so very rare nowadays. Thank you all.
Young ladies, you are two great blessings to this poor old world and all of it's inhabitants. God has you both here for a reason. There may be a few more of you among the billions of people here, but not many. Godspeed and much love.
This is one wonderful thing having been born, raised & live in Seattle Washington, we get all 4 seasons! Sadly, we don't get the snow around here like we used to when I was little. We had snow this winter! Love you girls & God Bless! 🙏🏽 Thank you! Seattle kin ♥️
What a wonderful college major! Thanks to your Mom for discovering it and to both of you for picking what has to be the prefect trio of minors. Appalachian Studies, of course. Sustainability, using natural resources creatively while protecting nature for future generations. Media Communications, what you are doing now! Everyone should be able to do this. The single major helps a person to go on and get a masters in that one area. I did International Relations with a minor in economics and loved having two special subjects. About your older audience (I'm 79 in August), it's not that you ladies are old souls (though you may also be). I just miss the old days of multi-generation families where everyone shares ideas and experiences. You help me stay in touch with people your age. My granddaughter, 25, is off in her own world of work and young people. That is fairly typical in urban areas (Los Angeles). I follow her old middle school friends on social media. It is great to hang out with you too. The other direction, you get from your family what I got from my grandparents: a view of two generations past, as real as if I had been there. That's what makes us (each in our own way) 'old souls'. Many young people are not as blessed as we have been in getting that long perspective -- at least 100 years of 'reality' in our almost-personal memory banks. For what it's worth, the first music I loved (and still do) is classic 1940s and 50s country.
Thank you, we are so lucky that degree was a perfect fit! And oh wow! Sounds like you got an interesting degree too. Thank you for being our friend and 79, that’s awesome! And yes we are so blessed to have the kind of family that we do. So many memories down through the generations!
Yes, The West is soooooooo Beautiful! Take the time when you can to go. I've driven across the country twice and I love it! You need to drive it to really experience and take it all in. Flying over head is not the same. I drove from Maryland to California and back, took the southern route to get there and the Northern route to get back. LOVED every minute of it. It's just a longer than normal Sunday drive.
Thanks for a great video! So much to comment on, but I'll focus on Katie's playing right-handed instruments right-handed even though she's left-handed. Did you ever hear of Ross Brown? He was a fiddler from Hiawassee who played a right-handed instrument, but played it left-handed (bow in left hand). It required some contortion, but he could get some good sound out of it. He was a regular at the Log Cabin Music Place on the East side of Hiawassee, and he sometimes played at the jams at Clay's Corner after the Friday night concerts at the folk school. He also recorded and traveled some with the Eller Brothers (Vaughn, guitar, and Lawrence, banjo), also of Hiawassee. I used to see the three of them at the Mountain Music outdoor stage at the Ga. Mtn. Fair. Art Rosenbaum collected some tunes from them, too. Someone in your family might have known them.
So fun listening to your Q & A. Hope there will be another one. I was born in 1951. That was the greatest decade to me. 🙂. Slower pace and not as complicated as now and family was a huge priority. Love y'all are old souls. 💗. Thought maybe the date and/or plans for the wedding would be one of the questions. God bless you both. ❤️❤️
Soon the wedding planning will begin!! And what a great time to be born and live. It all did seem simpler but of course it’s easy to see things with rose colored glasses. Thank you friend! ❤️
I love you guys. I'm 61 and grew up in West Virginia and I watch you and your mother to get a dose of what was for me. When I think about it it makes me kinda sad. But you all keep going on.
In many instances, I've not been able to tell if it's Katie or Corie, so I'm sayin you're identical! Absolutely gorgeous Ladies! I have an Ovation Celebrity (early 90's), Takamine G340SC, Gibson Invader (1985), and an Ibanez GRGA32. Also a Fender Squire 5 string P-Bass. And what do I still want? A Taylor and a Les Paul! This was great, Ladies! Y'all are like nieces to me by now. Stay the same; I love hearing how content you both are! Especially enjoyed the girly giggles at the end. Your love for each other is awesome!
Thank you friend!! And we can be hard to tell apart when we both talk, on the phone it’s impossible to know who’s who! Those are all some really cool guitars you have! And yes the Taylor and the Les Paul are pretty sweet too!
This Q&A was FULL of interesting and enlightening surprises. Thanks, old Chitter and two-minutes-younger Chatter! A while back I wished in a comment that the two of you would learn Ookpik Waltz and add it to your repertoire. In this video you entertained requests, so I officially and earnestly request that you learn Ookpik Waltz and add it to your repertoire. It's an absolutely beautiful fiddle tune that would be perfect for Katie and her sweet fiddle, and it sounds best when the fiddle is accompanied by a rhythm guitar -- that would be you, Corie. Ookpik Waltz needs both of you together to reach its full potential. Please treat the world to a Pressley Girls rendition of Ookpik Waltz.
Yall had me dying over here , miss independent wants to be responsible for her own sting , I like that for real cause it makes sense if you gonna take the pain may as well get to smash the thing .😂😂😂 great Q and A enjoyed it ve' much💯❤️ and Katie girl put yo tiny house directly on the banks of the creek, ain't nowhere ever compared to the magic in that spot right there by your creek , where your soul abides, that is where you stay💯❤️
Absolutely! No place I would rather be than right there! Also yes might as well get the satisfaction of smashing it 😂😂 my fierce independence always shows through! ❤️😂👍
Enjoyed your time in the swing. Tom Selleck in the Robert B. Parker series, about Paradise. have seen and loved them all. Wish I could come visit you and your family in person, but UA-cam is the next best thing. You are doing great, keep it up. Love and hugs.
Great video, I too love the old westerns also, wagon train, gunsmoke, cheyenne, bonanza, laramie, great tv right there, hope you girls get to the West one day it is some of Gods finest creation to enjoy out there especially Colorado
This Q & A was so much fun! Thank you for taking the time to do it! Everyone had such good questions and I thank you for answering about taking requests. If you could learn it, unless you already know it, "My Old Cottage Home" is a favorite of mine. It brings me joy to hear you both talk about your love of music and Appalachia. I live in Central Texas and love my state, but the Great Smokies/Appalachia range is a place I'd love to see. P.S. You two commenting on the grasshopper's move made me chuckle. It's been a while since I've even felt like chuckling, so thank you! God bless you both!
I truly wish everyone could have seen the dancing grasshopper! And thank you so much! We will look that song up! And we sure love home. If you ever come up this way we should visit together!
You beautiful sweet young ladies just made my day( well, it’s actually midnight) with this video and answered so many questions. And when you gave the 60+ demographics I cracked up. I’m 66 and found your channel by watching your Mom’s UA-cam channel. Being “old souls” just means you are so much more mature than those your same age. And it really shows. I love your desire to hold on to and preserve your heritage. I was raised in Swain County to mountain folks who settled in Swain/Jackson County in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. I’ve lived in the Piedmont since the late 70’s and leaving the mountains is probably my biggest regret. According to my friends here, I still talk funny, with the mountain drawl and words that they have never heard. I love how you have that strong love of family, and especially for each other. Please don’t ever loose that. I love how you are both strong and independent. Your parents did really well in instilling those wonderful traits and values in you. Just love you both ❤️
You Girls are a Mess LOL😂🤣😂 Love seeing the love that you two have for what has been given to you, all the way from your ancestors down to the person sitting beside you! Be safe out there!
Hi girls, from Scotland. I saw you and your mum first the other night on a Q&A about the mening of words and have fallen in love with you all. You are all beautiful souls. I've been hooked since.I love hearing about your way of life. I don't have a musical talent but have loved folk music since I was a teenager. It was heartwarming listening to your family play together in the kitchen and that brought me to your own channel where I 'll be able to hear more of you . Thankyou also for telling us about yourselves and the music and singers you like too. Sorry, I've rambled! Love to you both from Lynne, inFife .
Zane Gray wrote Riders of the Purple Sage. About 20 min from my house is the house he lived in on the bank of the Delaware River. There is a Zane Gray museum there also.
I was legit out towards the barn watching when I heard the truck beep and started to walk around and look down the holler to see if a truck was really backing up haha! Sounded like it was here! And yep Corie has a killer rhythm lick! I also thought “tiny house” the same time Corie brought it up too. I dig y’all’s musical “spectrum” and at times there’s no tellin what’s playing in my truck either… and I think it’s cool that you dig Westerns Katie, me too! My daddy used to carry us to rent up a bunch of western movies on weekends and we would watch them at night and ride horses all weekend long when I was growing up… still ride when I’m able. Shoot I can still sit & watch em with daddy now! I was actually named after the cowboy Heath Barkley (my names spelled different) on “The Big Valley”… don’t know if y’all have seen that show though. Enjoyed the video and y’all are too cool! Feel I can relate to the old soul thing cause I’ve always been told I’m “a hundred years late” too! Ain’t nothin wrong with that though IMO!
Thanks for braving the bugs to shoot your fun and informative video! Enjoyed hearing more about you both. Great news Wildwood Flower could be a song in a future video!
Robert Parker was the one that actually wrote the Jesse Stone books that they made into movies with Tom Selleck. Unfortunately, he has passed and away. But he is by far my favorite fiction writer. He also wrote the books that the old Spenser TV series was based on that starred Robert Ulrich and Avery Brooks. But that was Loooooongggggggg before your time.
@@kctechie Yeah, those were good too. I don't think I've ever read anything from Robert Parker that I didn't like. I've just always had a fondness for the Spencer character. Probably because I was watching it on TV long before I ever read the books.
You young ladies are beautiful, inside and out. TY for your videos, they cheer me up so much. xx Blessings from N.Tampa, FL. BTW, I love the mountains.
Wonderful video.my sound was bad. Love the way you both are so down to earth.love the honesty and simplicity.keep up the good videos.Enjoy each one.and your both beautiful.😍😍😍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for answering my question! And I understand. I only play places near where I live as well. I hope that someday I can see you both play live. I have also always felt like an old soul, and love to play and listen to old music, and have a love for old things! You're right Katie, 55 would have been a good year :) But I'm glad that there are those of us who want to keep the older music alive. Thank you again for putting great content out. It's very appreciated!
Yes it would have been a fantastic year! But I remind myself I was born when I was born for a reason! Even though sometimes you wish things were different. That would be fun to meet one day and gigs close to home are our favorite!
Some great piano music to listen too is the songs on the 8 seconds movie soundtrack . Theres 2 or 3 piano songs on there that are hauntin an thought provoking like my fav lane's theme .
Katie, I'm 60 and would love to meet Steve Perry! I'm a long time Journey fan! Have seen them many many time. Before you were born!! Love you both and your family!❤
My wife and found yours and your mom's channel about a week ago. We been watching older videos of yours in the evenings. Anyway you mentioned Buck Owens. When I was 6 My parents took me to see him. But when we got there he had canceled. Because the night before he had been robbed. Well in the 70s he had his own show. It was called Buck Owens ranch show. So I wrote to him told him that dad and mom took me to Huntington W.V. to the show that got canceled. He always sung 3 songs on the show. I told him what my 3 favorite songs of his were. A month or so passed and on his show he sang all 3 songs I told him were my favorites. It was my birthday. So I believe he indeed got my letter and made a little 7 year old very happy. Sadly in 2008 he passed away on my birthday.
That was a great video ladies, so nice to get a bit of insight into your lives. It so refreshing to listen to Intelligent , grounded women, Corie’s fiancé is a very lucky man, and Katie, come out west I believe Steve Perry likes younger women, haha. Young people like you gives hope for the future
Saw Steve Perry in a bar one night(years ago) Journey was HUGE then, sitting by himself , such a big star nobody would approach him , really kind of sad . But after about a half hour a gorgeous woman meet him they left and we all felt better for poor Stevie, haha . Have a good evening
If you ever come to Michigan again, it would be such an honor to meet you both. I love these Q&A videos and getting to know you both. You are both such beautiful and wonderful young women. It is a joy listening to you both and especially your music. My dad had a whole hard back collection of Zane Grey Books....this what I learned to read on. Also loved watching all those Westerns. Musically do you listen to Colter Wall? He is a genuine cowboy from western Canada and has a wonderful voice and style.
We will look him up! And oh wow a whole hardback collection?! Neat! I have a few really old hardbacks of his. They are pretty rough! And thank you so much for your support it means the world!
Yes, New Mexico, Durango, Colorado all around that area is awesome. Enjoyed this. Corie, you love the country music I do, all the singers I do.cant stand this new stuff.
God Bless your family. There a reason we came south in the old days. Study… put it together and understand you are special to the good ole USA. I’m so happy I found y’all, reminds me of my younger days.
Wow. I stumbled upon your UA-cam channel a week ago and have binged watched many videos so far with more to come. What a blessing y’all are in today’s world. We need more peeps like you. Your mom and dad did well in raising you. Y’all have given me a week of joy. I’m floored that your biggest audience is 65+. I’ll be 65 in 2 months. LOL. Thanks for the enjoyment.
I didn't realize you were identical twins until I watched this video. I'll be 62 next month, so it's nice to know I'm not your oldest subscriber. Nice to know you're Lightfoot fans -- I have a ticket to see Gordon in September, for a show that was originally scheduled for March 2020 and has been postponed a few times.
I’m 76 and I really enjoy these videos. Can’t wait to visit Appalachia again. I live in Traverse City, Michigan, but our daughter and family are in Charlotte, NC.
Corie I Love westerns and my husband does to and we love Ray Stevens and the people he has on his program, how about you and we do feel like you are a very smooth player…Paul is a very special player, does he play any other instrument? He sounds so professional… you girls are so funny at times and always so sweet!…….would love to see your Mother play a electric bass that Stan’s on the floor, one of the very, very small one. Love you all.
Great show today. It was much fun learning about your interests and many, many talents. I didn’t know your mom has a music channel. Im a fan of her cooking and story telling. (What a cool 😎 family.). BTW, Your degrees are perfect for what you are doing! I hope Gibson sponsors your channel and pays you in guitars. It could happen!
I love the vibe of these girls!! My wife has family from Whitley City KY, so she'll get the accent when we get around her grandma. Love it! (My family tree is Appalachian/Scots Irish too). Its in my blood!
That was fun too! Im glad to hear that you two like some rock and roll sort of music too. I'm a big Tony Rice fan too, and all of bluegrass really. Its pretty cool to see younger kids like you two into older music like this. I just came across Billy Strings a year or so ago. He's awesome. You should check him out if you haven't already.
Great little q an a . A tom selleck western to watch thou it has some very bad things in it is called quigley down under . A song to sing is one stunning patsy cline tune that my fav of hers an its called you belong to me .
Love you guys AND your music. I love all kinds of music...mostly blues and rock n' roll. But, I love any music that will make me feel someting inside. And, we live nearby each other. I'm in Brasstown too.
I have a Taylor 814C I purchased new in 1996. Love the Taylors and a lifetime warranty. My stepson has a Blueridge absolutely beautiful guitar and sounds really good.
This was such a rad lil Q&A, definitely learned a lot about ya and yer musical processes! Thank ya for answering my question! I relate heavy with the more like inspirational approach to writing & also don't do too well at all with sheet music (it's overrated anyway haha). I hope you get to recording more soon!! & Y'all are the coolest, but the hair definitely does help tho!
If I had to choose one word to describe the Pressley girls it would have to be "wholesome." I mean that in every possible positive way. 🙏🏼
Oh wow! Thank you so much!
Agree 100%!!!!! A rare trait nowadays.
I would have gone with crazy! Crazy fun laughing all the time, crazy talented in many areas, and crazy nice.
Adorable and 😎 not your typical UA-camrs✊

Stay wonderful and goofy, genuine people are so very rare nowadays. Thank you all.
Thank you so much!
Young ladies, you are two great blessings to this poor old world and all of it's inhabitants. God has you both here for a reason. There may be a few more of you among the billions of people here, but not many. Godspeed and much love.
Thank you! ❤️💕
This is one wonderful thing having been born, raised & live in Seattle Washington, we get all 4 seasons!
Sadly, we don't get the snow around here like we used to when I was little.
We had snow this winter!
Love you girls & God Bless! 🙏🏽
Thank you! Seattle kin ♥️
This was a fun video. Thanks for taking the time to take our questions and sit down with us and answer. You ladies are awesome!
Hey thanks so much! And thanks for asking the questions!
Yes! Steve "The Voice" Perry from Journey!! Me too girl!!
@@LB-eh5fzhe’s great!
Yes he just rocks!!!
That sounds like a blast! How fun. Maybe we can do it one day! ❤️
Someday I’d love to do that.
I loved that! You must do more of the chatting and sharing! ❤❤
Thank you so much friend!
That was so so fun 🌻🌻and interesting … thanks for letting us swing along ❣️ I really love Clint Black’s “ When I said I Do “ Video on Utube.
Thank you! And yes Clint Black is great!
I keep watching your videos and I keep loving you more and more.
I love you guys. I'm 61 and grew up in West Virginia and I watch you and your mother to get a dose of what was for me. When I think about it it makes me kinda sad. But you all keep going on.
Aww god bless you!
We will check it out. Thank you for being here and watching our videos!!! ❤️
From an "old soul" to two young "old souls" I appreciate your values and your thoughts. I enjoy your videos so much.
Thank you friend 😁
Yes that’s a good one! And thank you so much! It would be so great to meet our fans one day!
Great video! Thank you for answering my question about the Appalachian Trail. The author was Jennifer Pharrell Davis, Becoming Odyssa.
Yes that’s it! And thank you!
Great video, I too love the old westerns also, wagon train, gunsmoke, cheyenne, bonanza, laramie, great tv right there, hope you girls get to the West one day it is some of Gods finest creation to enjoy out there especially Colorado
I hope to get there too one day! And yes Cheyenne is a good one too!
Would love to hear you sing and play “How Great Thou Art” my favorite hymn. You are really awesome and. I enjoy hearing you.
You 2 ladies are delightful and make me smile. Thank you for answering my questions! I love a lot of the same music as you.
That’s great! And absolutely! Thank you!
I saw Clint Black many years ago! He puts on an amazing show. Didn’t know that he played the drums until I saw the show that evening
Oh cool! We are really excited to see him!
^ ^ Oh Quines ! you blow my mind every time! You dont have to read music to feel music in your heart and soul ! as you do Foxy Love fae Scotland VVxx
That’s right! ❤️
@@thepressleygirls I would love that, thank you! As a stay at home daughter who loves old things and music, I feel like we have a lot in common. :)
Just love you both ❤️
Thank you, God bless you! 💕☺️
And congratulations on getting married, I hope you have an amazing wedding and a long happy life together!!
Thank you!!
If you make it to Alaska, be sure to take a ride on the White Pass narrow gauge railway. Beautiful trip. Love your channel ladies.
We hope to get there one day! Thank you!!
Zane Gray wrote Riders of the Purple Sage. About 20 min from my house is the house he lived in on the bank of the Delaware River. There is a Zane Gray museum there also.
Oh man how cool!!!!!
When are you ladies gonna write a song about stamey creek? It seems to hold a special place in your hearts
We definitely should! A friend of ours wrote a fiddle tune for the creek!
❤️ absolutely! Thank you!!
Oh yes. Poor Robert. He was very talented those movies and books are great. And we will have to check that older show out!!
I liked Parker's "Virgil Cole and Everett Hitch" book series even more than the Spencer books.
@@kctechie Yeah, those were good too. I don't think I've ever read anything from Robert Parker that I didn't like. I've just always had a fondness for the Spencer character. Probably because I was watching it on TV long before I ever read the books.
Katie describing how she listens to music. I'm the same way and I grew up with a lot musician's. I love music. I love watching your videos.
I love how you guys are into old 80s music. You're both adorable.
You young ladies are beautiful, inside and out. TY for your videos, they cheer me up so much. xx Blessings from N.Tampa, FL. BTW, I love the mountains.
Also, the Yamaha Pacifica 112V and 112J have the Strat shape and style but with a thinner neck.
I love Alison Krauss so much. When she sings she has these pure bell tones. Her music just moves me.
LOL. You two watch the same tv shows I watch. Great video. Really really enjoyed it.
We love them old shows! Thank you!
Loved the Q&A, love it even more that you were both tickled by that grass hopper dancing on your phone 🥰
I'm a yr & 1/2 late to this, but I still enjoyed it! You girls are always a joy to see! -much love from NJ ~Mary & fam
Wonderful video.my sound was bad. Love the way you both are so down to earth.love the honesty and simplicity.keep up the good videos.Enjoy each one.and your both beautiful.😍😍😍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️
Thank you so much!! And we are still trying to tweak that sound, we blame it on the grasshopper 😂
Thank you for answering my question!
And I understand. I only play places near where I live as well. I hope that someday I can see you both play live.
I have also always felt like an old soul, and love to play and listen to old music, and have a love for old things! You're right Katie, 55 would have been a good year :)
But I'm glad that there are those of us who want to keep the older music alive.
Thank you again for putting great content out. It's very appreciated!
Yes it would have been a fantastic year! But I remind myself I was born when I was born for a reason! Even though sometimes you wish things were different. That would be fun to meet one day and gigs close to home are our favorite!
I agree. Maybe we were born when we were to carry some of it forward :)
And yes! I definitely hope to see a show someday!
Great video! You guys should do a cover of 'Ripplin' Waters' and have the creek in the video as you play. Stay safe!
Good idea! And thank you!
This was a fun video, you girls do a very good job of expressing what you think and feel and you have a good time doing it! Thanks!
❤️
This was a fun Q&A video. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing!
❤️
That was a great video ladies, so nice to get a bit of insight into your lives. It so refreshing to listen to Intelligent , grounded women, Corie’s fiancé is a very lucky man, and Katie, come out west I believe Steve Perry likes younger women, haha. Young people like you gives hope for the future
Bahahah! Steve is the bomb! And going out west would be fun!!! Thank you!
You girls are a hoot, lol. Love your videos and your music
Thank you so much!
🙏❤️
I didn't realize you were identical twins until I watched this video. I'll be 62 next month, so it's nice to know I'm not your oldest subscriber. Nice to know you're Lightfoot fans -- I have a ticket to see Gordon in September, for a show that was originally scheduled for March 2020 and has been postponed a few times.
Oh how fun! I’m sure it will be a great show! And happy almost birthday! We have a birthday in September.
I’m 76 and I really enjoy these videos. Can’t wait to visit Appalachia again. I live in Traverse City, Michigan, but our daughter and family are in Charlotte, NC.
@@nancyjohnson6867 Thank you for watching, we were actually in your area a few years back!
Our Uncle can play almost anything. We enjoying playing music, thanks for watching 😁
I think you two are adorable!
❤️
Jesse Stone...9 movie series...I watch them all the time. I bought the entire series.
I love Westerns. I would watch them with my Daddy all the time. My favorite western movie is Tombstone.
I love that movie, I feel up watching it with my Dad 🤠
^^ ^ You need to come to Scotland......everyone will love you VVxx
Thanks friend! Maybe we could one day!
Good conversation young ladies. You helped me learn lots about y'all, family, ideals, future, and etc.
Thanks for submitting questions and watching!
Enjoyed the q&a. Gutted i didn't see I could ask a question. Hopefully next time!
Absolutely! And thank you!
Thank you, that would be so cool! 😂🤠💕
Check out the Fender Squier Affinity Series. They have Strat and Tele style guitars with thin necks.
I love the vibe of these girls!! My wife has family from Whitley City KY, so she'll get the accent when we get around her grandma. Love it! (My family tree is Appalachian/Scots Irish too). Its in my blood!
Thanks for watching Appalachian family! 🤠
Love you all, you make me happy!
Thank you for answering my question!!! This was a fun video to watch. ~Jennifer Kernodle
Thank you friend!!!!
Love you guys. Mamaw’s favorite was “Give me the roses while I live”. (My request). Keep up the great work.
That’s a great one! Pap and his brother sang that one!
Thank you, Billy Strings is very talented!
Great little q an a . A tom selleck western to watch thou it has some very bad things in it is called quigley down under . A song to sing is one stunning patsy cline tune that my fav of hers an its called you belong to me .
Thanks for sharing.
Love you guys AND your music. I love all kinds of music...mostly blues and rock n' roll. But, I love any music that will make me feel someting inside. And, we live nearby each other. I'm in Brasstown too.
We love Brasstown! How neat we are neighbors! And you can’t beat some good blues and rock n’ roll!
I have a Taylor 814C I purchased new in 1996. Love the Taylors and a lifetime warranty. My stepson has a Blueridge absolutely beautiful guitar and sounds really good.
Taylor’s are great, that sounds like a good one and I love Blueridges too!
That was such a fun Q and A session!
❤️ thank you!
I am one of your Fans. Keep up the good work. Richard Woodie a fellow musican
Bahaha! The hair! Yes I do like the hair cut! And thank you so much!!
I love the 60 or 70 's houses and that Era of music also.
Such nice girls! Your parents must be proud, you come from good stock!!
Thank you!
Steve Perry and Alaska .... his voice is amazing 👏
