I see alot of bike crashes that occur because bikes don't give enough space and aren't expecting thr worst. I get it, cars shouldn't be doing that anyways.. but at the end, it's your job to take care of yourself. So I always ride safe
I've absolutely fallen in love with this bike and it's my dream ! Bc of a recent epilepsy diagnosis I still have to wait 5 years to get a licence but best belive it's gonna be for this one ! I'm exited to save up for it and finally get on it 😂

I have short in seam and absolutely love my 40th 500. 4500km on her and no issues. I'm about to fit Road 6 tyres so I won't be selling mine anytime soon (196kmh top speed on mine and I am thinking of going 2 teeth bigger on the rear to see if it will rev limit in 6th)

I run a full TOCE exhaust. It rumbles and gives a deep growl. I currently have the db killer in atm. Also the windscreen is fun aliexpress. I have videos on the exhaust and links posted on my other videos of the windscreen

Im 5 flat, inseam 27, I jut bought ninja 500 2025 as my first bike. im learning with that bike. And I lowered it for 4 inches. Hopefully once I am better in riding I can put it back on its original.

@@Platon1111 I swapped the tail tidy(the huge license plate holder that sticks out in the back) and I took off the stock exhaust! Also a few more stuff but I don't remember at this moment if being honest! Haha. The weight forsure is a big factor and deciding between these two. The lightness of the ninja 500 just makes me feel so comfortable and confident doing anything. From reversing, slow u turns.. leaning and such. It all just feels so easy
+50 lbs, + $1200 USD, in exchange for its weight it gets larger dual disk front brakes and USD forks. I doubt there's any appreciable improvements to either handling or braking vs the Ninja 500.
The cfmoto450 was what I forgot.... I think I forgot it because it's a pretty good bike too so there wasn't much to pick on except how reliable the brand is and just like the KTM, idk anything about it so I won't assume lol

@@sayvory depending on dealership fees and not, that comes to about right. You can probably find cheaper dealerships or you might run into more expensive ones. My base model abs was quoted on the phone at 6.4k out the the door but it definitely didn't end up to that lol. It did come around 7 something. But I pulled the trigger because I didn't have real road experience and it was close to my home so I bought it due to the location of the place. But I don't think that's a bad price. Like I said tho, I'm sure you can finder better deals if you shopped around longer.
Not sure about the 500 being a beginner but def a light weight 375 lb bike yes. I have seen people go out of control on a full size 110 cc bike and crash because they have NO idea how a throttle works. If you dont have the mental capacity to control a throttle, you should not be on a bike.

Honestly, On a parallel twin motor - most exhaust sounds very similar. Kinda why i went for the full Toce exhaust. Gives a deeper rumble to it. I started on the leo vince gp corsa evo slip on and if i could go back, I'd probably get like the istunt slip on or whatever lol. Now my $250 slip on just sits in the garage and i dont wanna sell it just incase.
Yeah, I heard the U.S got the best version of the ninja 500s! It's a shame because this bike is lovely! Everyone deserves to have it at full potential. The restrictions makes almost no sense as it's not even that big. Ride safe brother!

It's the base model. This is the whiteish/silver matte model. It looks really white in the sun. I'm not sure if this is the silver version you're talking about but I have heard this colorway is sometimes hard to find.
If you're planning on sticking with the bike. I'd say se version. But if you prefer just a basic bike to ride and commute. The base version works great as well!

I would say it does hold pretty steady from MY experience but I'm only one reviewer. I do think the look tradeoffs is worth it. You just have to play with your angles so you can see where you want to see and understand where your blind sides are. I usually turn my whole body to check when I'm changing lanes or turning anyways so I rarely use my mirrors.
Lot's of quality issues with the Ninja 500. Seems the rolled it out too fast. I guess they tried to complete against the CFMOTO 450SS. Ninja 500 isn't even a 500cc bike, but it's a 451. Kawi really messed this up. The Ninja 400 was super reliable and a big seller for them.
Haven't heard of any quality issues with the ninja 500. I have heard of issues for the cf moto and aprilia tho lol but we won't go there. The ninja 400 was a great seller of course, but its been out for awhile. Also it's not like they kept making the 400. It's discontinued. So why not make a small upgrade? Also, just so you're aware. If we're really talking 400cc bikes. The zx4r/rr is out there.

Don't get me wrong, you can probably just jump start it and it'll work for awhile until you have to again.. but it's brand new.. it shouldn't (that much). Also I'm a big advocate for the 450cc class in general. You can't go wrong with any of em!

Australia got the same crap with 45Hp instead of 51hp. I'm hitting 196 TOPS and thinking of going up 2 teeth on the rear sprocket
Typically the US will get bikes that are inferior to their Euro spec equivalents if that makes you feel any better.

Well, when you do or if you do upgrade, I recommend going towards the 600cc suportsport class. Just in my opinion though

When it comes to the ninja 500 vs the R3, the ninja 500 comes out on top 90% of the time imo. Love both tho!
