For me your strength lies in the fact that you are an actuary and approach things very analytically. I would actually like to suggest a twist on the last 2 video ideas you mentioned. How about a video on how to analyze whether paying for a service is actually benefiting the seller? I've watched some people who pay tons for crosslisting and inventory management services, but when they share their monthly sales, I'm like "but all that was from ebay and posh. You paid $50 this month to make $10 on kidizen! Why?" Or "You're doing your relisting manually when your paid app can do that. Why?" Sadly, quality personal finance is not taught in school, so I see and read about a number of people making truly poor financial decisions. I think you are in a place where you can truly educate these people. To be transparent, I am a retired accountant who sells for fun. Ever since posh added the bulk share, I don't pay for any apps. I use the Free version of photoroom and several other pic editing apps. I know excel and word, so I track my inventory on excel and copy and paste my listings to ebay, posh and etsy from word. I sell about $500 per month and that's fine for me. But I always have positive cash flow. Just a thought for the future. No matter what you decide to do, right now please just sit back, relax and put your energy into delivering your new daughter. We all can't wait to meet her!

My mail lady is spoiling me! She gave me a us postal plastic box and all I have to do is leave my flag up on my mailbox and she will know that there are packages in the plastic box on my porch. It has saved me soooo much time and gas money! I give her a really nice gift at Christmas and some smaller gifts throughout the year ❤

I've sold a few and dependent on the brand and if it's a bigger size, they've sold within a couple of months for $15-20 so not bad. Target brands don't excite me as a reseller.

The F l y p crosslisting service has caused a lot of people to have crashed or glitchy computers, myself included! It's been rebooting and doing all of this strange behavior ever since I got their extension, please please be careful should you choose to use it. I hear good things about the consignment side of their business so I'm not sure what the disconnect is. The Whatnot and Thredup vs TRR videos sound great! Photoroom really is a lifesaver too, there's nothing worse than seeing that logo in peoples' listing photos - even if you have the free version it can be quick to crop out. Wish I knew about your code when I had first signed up!
YES, please compare the crosslisting service! I have really been wondering what the differences are between them. I know that when I crosslist using Flyp, my photo quality goes down the gutter and it also doesn't offer a price drop feature for CCO! I definitely participate heavily in CCO and I also edit my listing titles when I do so I can keep track of how many price drops I've done so I would love to be able to bulk add phrases into titles as I bulk price drop but I doubt any services offer that (:

USPS tried to fuck around with not picking up my packages as well. If you call the local post office and tell them that you're scheduling pickups and they're just leaving then, generally they start picking them up.
Photoroom is a game changer for me. I have been a reseller for 20 years. There has never been anything so amazing for photos. Your phone and photoroom is all you need.
The 50/50 LIFO / FIFO sounds like such a great solution for you and I both, thank you for sharing that idea! I have too many unlisted items sitting around.
Would love the cross listing app video. I am currently with list perfectly and it has a lot of glitches. The worst glitch is that it does not always delete the listing when sold. I have to go in manually, to each site to make sure it has been marked sold. Sort of defeats the purpose.
Also glad I'm not the only one that hasn't had ANY luck with usps pickups. I've tried it with 4 different addresses/cities I've lived in & no luck with any. 🙃

Interesting that you haven't had success with USPS Schedule a Pick Up but yet success with putting packages in your mailbox for pick up. I have the exact opposite experience. As long as I request package pickup the night before I can leave on porch and they get picked up and SCANNED. However, if something sells in the morning and put in my mailbox for pick up when mail is delivered that day (I always put flag up to alert carrier), 50% of the time my packages going out does NOT get picked up. Last week my carrier shoved packages I RECEIVED in with the USPS Flat Rate Box I had for pick up in my box. I called my post office to question WHY? and the carrier was sent back to get my package. So lame!
I love Flyp for cross listing and sharing my closet, but I’d be interested in seeing a comparison video of other apps so I can understand why anyone would pay for these services that Flyp does for free. Thanks for going through the new sharing process! I have used it when I forget to start Flyp. I didn’t know I had to click Available Items. I think I was sharing sold items, too🤦🏻♀️

I am most interested in a WhatNot video since it’s a pretty relevant topic as of now. I’m afraid that a year old TU/TRR video may not be current enough with the changes that both apps may have seen since. I would love to see a comparison video on the different background remover apps. And it's even okay if you're biased in favor of Photo Room. I've been using eBay's background remover since they improved it but it falls short when there is more than one item with blank space in between. Also for items such as a necklace, I have to manually remove the background inside the necklace circle. Would love to see how Photo Room does this. Maybe not even a comparison video, maybe just a Photo Room demo on several items would be awesome. Thanks for asking!
eBay's background removal tool is horrible and so time consuming to correct what it misses. I have to agree with Amber, Photo Room is an amazing app. So easy to use and gets it right every time the first time.

Amber...not finished with the video yet but I love it! I love Photo Room but only use the free version. Will think about the full version as I know it would save me time! My husband put an additional mailbox in just like that one awhile back. We have that one now and our regular one and it is a game changer! I was doing that approach with the 50/50 listings! I would definitely watch the sweater shaving video, but it’s just maybe not as exciting as the other two. I like the idea of the TRR vs TU video, but things change so fast on those apps that I think you’d have to start over on your research.
I love Target plus size Brands they're so comfortable I like the video about the cross listing and the thread up comparison maybe start with a video that you've already invested time and that won't take too long for you to stick up there I've tried flip for cross listing and it was super glitchy I ended up going back list perfectly even though it was a little bit more expensive
I have such a backlog of stuff to list and I've been trying to get myself to let go of the need for descent photos on a white background. But I also know that photos can make a large difference in perceived value. Thanks for talking about photoroom!!!

Maybe you could work on a couple videos and then have them ready for editing so that when you have the baby you can just kind of edit in your down time with the baby like when she's sleeping or having tummy time or something

I have not had much luck sending items to Flyp. I definitely think my items are not super desirable so that is definitely the main reason, but I think because the seller splits the profit they also price the items way too high. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out for you!

Really great advice, Amber! Thanks so much! I think the 1) crossposting app comparison video would be helpful and 2) Whatnot video next. I would definitely watch the sweater shaving video, but it’s just maybe not as exciting as the other two. I like the idea of the TRR vs TU video, but things change so fast on those apps that I think you’d have to start over on your research.
I love Target plus size Brands they're so comfortable I like the video about the cross listing and the thread up comparison maybe start with a video that you've already invested time and that won't take too long for you to stick up there I've tried flip for cross listing and it was super glitchy I ended up going back list perfectly even though it was a little bit more expensive
I have such a backlog of stuff to list and I've been trying to get myself to let go of the need for descent photos on a white background. But I also know that photos can make a large difference in perceived value. Thanks for talking about photoroom!!!
My thoughts are scrapping the sweater shaver video and the threadup/ real real videos. The last two options I think would be interesting content but it does sound like it would take some time to research/create.

Maybe you could work on a couple videos and then have them ready for editing so that when you have the baby you can just kind of edit in your down time with the baby like when she's sleeping or having tummy time or something

When you are back to it, my vote is for the comparison of crosslisters! Would love an evaluation of ONESHOP as I have it but I am not really sure if it can do it all or not! I still have Vendoo too and would love it if I could cut one out!
I have not had much luck sending items to Flyp. I definitely think my items are not super desirable so that is definitely the main reason, but I think because the seller splits the profit they also price the items way too high. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out for you!
