My death pile just keeps growing,as I just love shopping,but then struggle to get things listed. It takes a lot of time and effort. People watch videos of resellers and think it an easy way to make money,but it takes a lot of time and effort.And sometimes for only a little bit of profit. Thankyou for showing a true reflection of how it is ❤️.

Congrats on all of your smart purchases & sales; you make really good sourcing choices. Everyone has different options for sourcing depending on area but we all have to be super careful; checking comps and bargaining for the lowest cost of goods, etc. I found a thrift store that has crazy sale prices of .25 but you have to dig for a couple of hours when you go. I can't quit going there!!!

I have LOVED this video; from your attack on the death pile to dealing with Precious Moments items. (The Birkenstock cleaning was VERY helpful and inspiring for me. I have 3 or 4 pair to sell and will be cleaning them tomorrow!!) Thank you for sharing your very real experiences in the world of reselling and dealing with Items belonging to your parents. I have trouble making decisions about my mother's possessions and want to just keep all that I can't find a willing taker for, making my house look like a furniture store. :(

Hello! I'm getting so inspired by your business model and progress through your death pile. My death pile is actually a storage unit and 1/2 my second bedroom. I'm feeling anxious and overwhelmed by it all. I hope I can get over myself and do as you do - systematic and diligent in chipping away at it.
I'm glad I found this video, It made me feel better about my death pile. I started my own challenge 2 weeks ago and vowed to not source until I get my entire death pile listed and have listed over 200 items so far but truthfully it is going to take me months to get it all done. I don't know if I will be able to not source at all, because sometimes things are too profitable to pass up, but at least I am keeping my listing goals each day. Congrats on clearing most of your death pile and good luck on the dresses, that seems like a lot of work ahead for you.
I am literally filled with guilt while watching this video; but also comforted bc someone else's death pile is in front of me (not sure why). I thought something you said rang really true you couldn't enjoy garage saling as much with a death pile behind you; that's me too, a dark cloud is literally hanging over me in the thrift store bc I know I should be home doing the HARD labor!!!
I love the “hunt” too and tend to not list as quickly as I’d like. 😅 I’m working on my death (or money) pile. My younger sister collected Precious Moments and also the Calico Critters, which I guess resell well.

Pick a category and start with it first! Break it down into smaller goals. I started with my smallest piles which was tops. Listed all the tops first. Then I went to the next smallest pile, and I focused on listing all of that type of item.

I’m glad you are back! We just got back from Park City, Utah. A cool city that hosted the 2002 Olympics. It is still a functioning training camp for Olympic athletes. They have also put in for 2030 and 2034 winter games.

I think it is a vice for many of us! Listing isn’t nearly as fun as sourcing! Just list more than you buy and it will slowly dwindle.

I think in previous video u said u have another full time job, so understandable how u are busy and only list 3 items over 2 weeks.
