The 50 year plan will not fix anything. Sure, paradis's technology will advance but at what cost? Sacrificing historia and her children, plus the continuation of the titan inheriting thing? The world will never see them as "good" people as long as this still continues. And what happens after 50 years pass? The titans will still be here, not only being useless to wars because of technological advancements but the inheritors will keep on living for 13 years only
The 50 year plan has its flaws with Historia’s children and other people inheriting the 2 (3) Titans, which is indeed terrible, BUT it’s SO much better than the rumbling alternative of nearly destroying the world. Nearly all cultures gone, most wide life extinct on the land and in the ocean, and the massive loss of life and human creation. The 50 year plan keeps other nations at bay with the threat of the rumbling and an actual demonstration of it, destroying an outer city of the wall and going to destroy Marleys military which what was supposed to happen. And if you argue other nations would still attack even after Marley is destroyed, why would they? Sure they hate Eldians, but it’s not worth spending that many resources and risking world wide devastation for a people who won’t even attack you if you don’t attack them. It makes no logical sense for a nation to do that, there under no threat of titans at that point unless they make themselves be. If they don’t attack them nothing happens and if they do they risk getting destroyed like Marley. This time period allows Eldians to get caught up technology wise with the Azumobito’s and access to worldwide technology. The rumbling is the worst possible solution. It was completely avoidable, especially if Eren didn’t attack libero which made Edlia targets. Sure you can argue Eldia got a head start and the world was going to declare war anyway, but if they came with diplomacy and said “We wont attack you if you leave us alone,” how many nations do you think will attack them? Most of the reason they thought it was necessary was because they thought Eren would enact the rumbling because he wasn’t bined by the original kings ideology. If they find that they aren’t hostile, a lot of them would just see it as a waste of resources and way to big of a global risk. This entire situation could’ve been way better, but Eren WANTED to do this. If you have a better idea I’m all ears though, but the saying the 50 year plan solves nothing is so wrong.
But in that time, Paradis could make alliances, having the Asians, who are at the height of technology and several others later down the line would keep anyone from attacking Paradise as it advances to the level of other nations.
@@XiaoYu-04 That's why you destroy Marely's military, it gives the other countries a chance to reclaim their territory taken from them by Marely and also opens up the possibility that other countries would befriend Paradise for helping them take back their land.
