Welcome back! Re the noise from your new clay conditioning machine motor, its just 'screaming in happiness' that you 2 are working together. Lovely flower petal cane. Another option for rounding the petals might be metal spoons. I bought numerous sizes at a yard sale, they work great shaping leaves for earrings and pendants. I also use melon ballers and beads from broken jewelry, glued on wooden skewers, to shape.clay

Thanks! But I have to admit, I enjoyed the break! I must take time off once in a while to clear my brain!

I understand that. I rotate between clay, painting and quilting. Have to switch it up to keep the mind fresh and creative.

Great to hear the hum of the pasta machine motor! But it's ok to take a break now and then if you need to. You don't have to wait until the new motor breaks down! lol. I love this petal cane. Such a pretty style. I'm with you on Souffle clay. There have been a few things I've liked it for, but not for most. I don't know how Teresa Pandora Salgado does it! Anyway, thanks for another great tutorial!

Great as always. Made some in different colors and are beautiful. Always love the things you do and your style of teaching thinking on the fle. I am on a fixed income and can't contribute but many thanks to the people who do!.

I'm glad you are enjoying my tutorials! I completely understand being on a fixed income since I am too. Don't worry! I am not doing these to get paid. If I were, I would charge for my video tutorials. As long as I can possibly survive on my small income, I will continue to do free tutorials. Thanks!

Yes - I saw her video a while ago. It is very similar. Mine is a little different and I've done it for years. Even though I came up with this one on my own, Monica has given me the OK to use her tutorials as inspiration. She is a very talented - and generous - artist.
