Lovely video, and a beautiful cane. I love "playing" with polymer clay, and have done so for many years. Though I especially like the portion of the video (around the 25min point) where you spoke of time and may I paraphrase "Zen and the art of Crafting". For many years, and numerous complex projects behind me, the question often comes up "How long did that take you to make" and my simple response is always "I do not know" And I don't know because I get absorbed in the process and finished result is the bonus of my pleasure! Thank you, and happy crafting!
I personally don't care how long it takes for you to make anything I love learning from you and enjoy every demo you have and think your work is BEAUTIFUL ! And if anyone is a true artist they understand that we are known as perfectionist and we never view our time we view our work and the end results.
I am an artist and brand new to polymer clay. I feel so fortunate to have discovered your videos. Your artistry is amazing and you present everything in such an understandable way. It means a lot to someone who is just starting out. Thank you!!!
Every time you said "Now I'll just change the shape or I'll just cut it again" I thought 'No no! Don't! It looks great now! But you just kept surprising me. I can't wait to watch some more and get started on some of my own. You have my thanks and my total respect. I'd never have guessed at the enormity of possibilities!
Thank you so much Teresa! A great reply to the YouTubist is "Easy doesn't always mean fast." Something that is made quickly looks like it lol :) I'm all about taking my time . Thanks so much for taking the time to make these classes for us!
Thank you, Teresa for your wonderful videos and for sharing your gift. I am a newbie to polymer clay and in my search for more knowledge I am always drawn back to your style
Well, I am definitely 'Pandorified' ! I love your videos. You make it easy to follow. I am disabled to some degree, and I have trouble working for long periods of time, and finding a reason to. I have many items for my clay. I buy them from Shades of Clay here in Ontario, Canada. I was inspired by 2 Canadian artists, one of whom, is a manufacturer of Cabezel All-In-One molds. I think you would love them! It is a bezel and cabochon mold all in one. I have made some neat things with them, but after viewing your much easier to follow tutorials,I can make even better things! I think you are one stylish Chick (lol), and you made my day and I would love to know you. Thank you for continuing to inspire us all!
I've been an artist most of my life doing drawings, oil paintings and many crafts. The videos you do are mesmerizing to watch. So very unreal the different patterns you come up with, amazing and beautiful. I'm always fascinated to watch another artist work. This is my beginning with polymer clay and I hope that I can make beautiful things like you. Thank you for all your videos.
I'm sure you'll be a wonderful Polymer artist, Nancy. if you want to, friend me on fb and I will get you into my clay group, HOP! Hooked on Polymer. bit.ly/pandoraonfb
Thank you very much, love your method of teaching. Life is a journey not a destination, so take your time and smell the roses along the way. Great Video, August
I love your work and hope you continue to do videos on youtube. You do wonderful work especially the ZEN feeling. I am disabled and find it hard to relax and watching you relax and play in very inspiring to me. Thank you again for sharing.
Really cool. Thanks for sharing it. And your own wisdom. I would never have gotten this in a million years. I always thought I had to keep to the traditional way to make canes. This is more intuitive. Again thank you Teresa Pandora
I did that this christmas, i made massive list from beads to strings. The whole family bought me stuff. I was so happy. They all thought i was crazy. I was kid in a toy store.
How fun is this? I'm finally buying a czextruder for my birthday! So I decided to check out some videos for ideas, and stumbled onto yours. My, how far your videos have come! It's impressive, seriously! I love watching this older stuff of yours, still amazing! And then watching your newer stuff, which is extremely impressive! Way to go on improvements over the years! I hope my crafting improves this well!

Thank you so much. I’ve been making crochet hook handles and become a bit bored with my VERY simple designs. You’ve inspired me to become more adventurous and have a go and some jewellery.
You are amazing! Love all of your videos. You definitely are able to get into the flow and yet still be talking and explain everything, which is just great to me. Thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing this technique! I never could have foreseen the result. You are amazing! I've shied- away from caning, but am getting an extruder for Christmas . This video has helped me to understand what I can do with it.
You are AMAZING ... I just love your video...I havnt started doing any beads or anything yet but going to with the grandkids for xmas presents....we are going to make sun catchers with crystal beads and wanted to make polymer beads to go with it, mainly for the kids sake...but now you have given me so much more inspiration to do so many more things. I absolutely LOVE YOUR ENERGY. you have a very calming effect on me. Going to watch the rest of your videos too. A billion thanks to you Teresa :) and a billion blessings too . :)
Please take this in the kindest way- the way you manipulate your clay is insane. I've worked with polymer clay, and done some interesting things, but this just blows my mind. One day... one day I'd like to see the potential you see in your blocks and all. Gorgeous, gorgeous work!
Thanks so much, Laynie. I'm doing a 10-vid course for curious.com and we'll be Pandorifying everything in sight. Polymer Claydate with Pandora. Free signup.

The cane is gorgeous Teresa! This is a very interesting and totally instructive video. I've been so scared to make canes in case I mucked them up but you've put me into my Zen zone with your laid back style. I'll be getting out my extruder, mine isn't as fancy but still gets the job done if a bit slower, and definitely trying this out soon.
I really like this video! You took your time to explain every step witch it's great for us with no much experience with PC. It hurt me when you cut the clay and just rolled into your hands like nothing! I love your work and all the very Neat stuff that you make!
Looking forward to more videos from you, I'm new, and love that I found your channel, most others are babbling on and on about nothing or poor video quality or just music and no instructions thank you so much, would love to see more boho look

Teresa would you please do a video on setting up your extruder and clay machine with a drill motor. I am disabled and live alone. I could get someone to help me set it up if I just had an idea or instructions. It would be wonderful.

You are amazing Pandora! I have just started working with polymer clay and you make it so easy to understand! Would be a nice touch in the future if you set the pattern drawing down in camera range so we could have the visual of you building the cane by following it.
Superb, clear and easy to follow. You also confirm my love of playing around with techniques rather than following a pattern rigidly and coming up with something different. I love that working in Polymer Clay gives you infinite options .. for colour, pattern, style so it's such a pity to follow rigidly. Look forward to watching more of your videos. Why do you use Sculpey Souffle .. isn't it a bit soft for Caning?? Here in France Fimo tends to be more used .. because its from Germany and Professional is good for caning.
Thanks Teresa always great tips and technique to pick up! I had the thought the other day, speaking about fulfilling wishlists, it was about like, stockpiling polymer clay. . . just pick up an extra brick here and there as one would shop, and put it back for people in the UK and elsewhere that don't receive the 40-50% off sales . . . distribute where individuals have a need. I hope you could understand where my thought was going LOL Best to you always
