- I actually had no plan to make this video the day I created it, but it started raining- I live somewhere where rain is an event!- and I got the urge to record it because it sounded so nice~ Then, this is what came of it! the campus is so nice it’s like right next to this indian clothing store it’s be so nice to go there,,, i love the area so much i really really want to go there like,,, it’s just one of those things you know you want so so badly with all your heart and all your desire it makes you feel all lighthearted and hopeful and ugh i hate it i feel so floaty
also i’m taking the train which i don’t do often so it’s freaking me out 🥀🥀 i don’t like taking the train bc i’m afraid i’ll get lost or like i won’t hear an announcement and miss my stop and like end up in brooklyn or smthn and plus they’re gonna be flooded too with how much it’s been raining

Yay. I love the rain. It's a rarity where I live, too, but it just rained yesterday and may rain again today - with luck. Videos/audios including the sound of rain really help cheer me up when I have to endure long periods of sunlight. Summoning nice spirits is a good way to spend a rainy day, I suppose. ^^ Hot chocolate and affection? I guess I need to befriend more spirits. You balanced out the rain and your voice quite well, too. His little speeches are super comforting, to be honest.
It's really weird, though; I drew - well doodled - a water spirit (or at least what was intended to be one) during my seminar at about the same time that this was uploaded. I think it would be a suitable portrayal.
aha, coincidentally, the same situation with the past couple days where I live as well! I feel the same way with rain, I used to have family in another state who got frequent thunderstorms and heavy rain and gosh, I really miss that part about going there to visit! I think living in a dry area just makes it seem more special~

I absolutely adore these videos! They’re always so soothing and to listen to them is like being greeted by an old friend. The Witch with their soothing spell; the water spirit with their wisdom; and Elliah with his buttons and sweetness and innocence. And you have such a command of the character, tone, even the language that would be used, archaic or not. I rarely see this in ASMR and I applaud it profusely! It’s inspiring and soothing. It makes me wonder where are the novels for these characters and this world are and why they aren’t published
You must put a great deal of effort into cultivating such a soothing voice: I feel like my blood pressure's dropped to almost nothing.
To describe your blissfully gentle voice as being merely a sound does it a disservice. It is the solemn feeling of envelopment in pure warmth and tenderness.
It annoys me that I cannot be more comprehensive in describing it, but I did my best. I aspire to have your script writing talent.
ooooh, I really like the detail that it sounds like his lips are slightly wet with how you can hear them parting sometimes and the pronounced clicks of the tongue play into the sound of raindrops. At 3:09 I was like 'oh, is that intentional? 7:03, 9:58 yup ....hmm

Please allow me to give a point of critique as well. I noticed that the rain sounds you used were looped, but the point where it repeated itself was pretty obvious. I would've preferred it if the looping point wasn't as noticeable, so maybe you'll consider using another ambient track next time? You or someone else may have already noted this but i felt like i needed to speak my mind... i hope you don't mind ^^

ah, that was my bad! I double checked my original audio file to see what had happened with the looping, and it was an issue with a segment that had a fade-in applied to it that I had accidentally copied when creating the loop! The rain sounds actually loop a lot more than what you were probably hearing, but unfortunately, the audio files start to look like this - i63.tinypic.com/fdyq8g.png and it gets difficult to notice little things like that, haha!

I always think it's very impressive how people manage to make videos with different soundeffects and stuff in it

Oh my goodness. It took me several nights to finish this video because it’s so soothing that I always fall asleep a few minutes in, no matter how much I want to stay awake and listen until the end. This is definitely one of my favorites. I’ve never really liked the sound of rain, but coupled with your gentle voice and healing thoughts, it becomes so magical. You really have a way of saying exactly what people need to hear. Maybe you really are a water spirit~?
