All this time, I thought Bahroo intentionally ignored the courtyard so that he wouldn't have to worry about the crimson curse engulfing his roster and just generally making things more annoying.
So wait if ancestor encountered the Countess before the actual monsters then was CC the first monsters?
Not exactly, some of the other monsters (particularly the bosses such as the Siren) were in the works at the same time, but the CC is probably the first to "pop".
@@mateomarangelli9191 wait but what age was ancestor when he met siren because if he was as old as he was when he killed himself then that means I would be correct.

the faces are the rooJade emote and because the Jade thing is a meme/running joke in the channel the modders changed the various gems to various other color versions of rooJade

they affect whoever they're equipped to. he swaps them to each unit to get them all virtuous one at a time.

Do you blame him for wanting to negate a mechanic in a boss fight in a run where he is on the hardest difficulty and running a self-imposed hardcore run that he has attempted and failed numerous times already and would prefer to avoid starting a new one?
@@Dedlokmy brother in Christ, it's the fuckin Crew. Bring a Crusader with some damage trinkets, or his stun trinket, and let him deal with the anchorman. Your other 3 heroes can deal with the rest of it.
so do deaths in the final fight count?
yes, Come Unto Your Maker counts as a death, he needed to do one of two things: Nuke down the boss in 1 attack so that it has no chance to activate the Come Unto Your Maker checks at 2/3 and 1/3 health, or go into the fight with less than 3 people, as Come Unto Your Maker can ONLY be activated if you START the HoD's phase with more than 3 people, as it would be unfair if you tried a 2 man squad and physically cant get past because of mandatory deaths.

@@ethanedwards3357 there's also an achievement for beating HoD with just the starting HWM and Crus, so it's built into the design
