Notably; Team Skull; Yell and Star aren't included... because they aren't actually evil. And while you could use Aether and Macro Cosmos; Rose might be a little awkward to use because Eternatus... I do think they might have gone a little overboard, since this is a 195 Ivy threat... on 155. Maybe 165 would be better because that's about halfway between 145 and 182 [E4] Also some of these can just... screw you over on challenge runs. Like; you're trying to do Bug [already one of the harder monos] and you roll Team Magma. Might as well reset. Or Fighting [also hard because Eternatus resists you and MegaRay is flying] and you roll Giovanni, good luck with Mewtwo... I had a friend halfway through a fighting challenge run when this rolled out; Giovanni; Neuroforce Mewtwo just outsped and OHKO'ed his entire team.
Man I was on lvl 165 of my gen 2 challenge before this update came out and I went into my save today and came against Giovani and I just can’t get past him with my team
Honestly, I haven’t had any trouble with the evil teams so far, even in my mono-type challenges. I’ve defeated team Magma, team Aqua, Giovanni, Cyrus, and Ghetsis so far without it being too difficult. In my opinion, the evil teams battles are meant to check how sturdy and prepared your team is, and in that regard, you should always make sure to have a team that is as balanced as possible. Don’t sleep on tanky / bulky Pokémon, and moves like leech seed / sappy seed / protect / parting shot, etc. My best example is my mono-fire run. My MVP was BY FAR Magcargo. Yes, you heard me, Magcargo. His passive is Desolate land so his fire attacks are boosted AND he’s immune to water attacks, and he has access to Shell Smash, with a base Defense of 120. With only one cost reduction, Slugma costs 2, so… 👍🏼
Yeah this update ended my classic run today lol... started seeing the grunts in the earlier waves not thinking anything of it. Just thought they were going to replace certain trainer battles. Then I fought the boss with 2 mons left because I was saving coin and had no idea he was coming 😂
these 165 bosses are way harder than anything else in classic. had to fight a giovanni with boss health tyranitair, mewtwo, and mega kangaskhan. if theyre gonna be that hard make the other bosses harder, they feel so out of place right now
I will finally be able to play the game again Sunday. There have been so many updates in the last week and I can’t wait to test them and I especially can’t wait to fight evil team leaders. Eta: Love that they have legendaries. I just feel like Giratina would have made more sense for team galactic, but I guess Sinthia already uses Giratina so that’s fine. And Darkrai is a really awesome pokemon.
Team aqua grunt wiped me after it sent out 2 black clodsires I had only raichu to deal with water the rest of my team was weak to water and got wiped because the thing is godamn ground type
Yeah the game is getting harder every single update. I'll say that the game is getting easier once you unlock more things, so keep going as far as you can and buy your upgrades with vouchers/candies.
@@simplyayu_pkmnit feels like the current direction is forcing you to grind for Op mons and passive abilities instead of playing normal pokemon kinda unfortunate, the changes made by the devs to types and abilities are a mixed bag, some are good, others are out of place and ruin the vanilla experience

That is very unfortunate, I hope you can make it work on your current work or in the next!

True, have to remember 115 and 165 on top of everything else now, aha.

Speedrunners boutta suffer with 155
I had to learn the hard way- I was on 165 and the team aqua boss showed up and alot of my Pokémon were fainted so there was nothing I could do
Yeah we have to remember that 115 and 165 are tough too now, aha.
Hello Simply i didnt played for a long time, this is added in classic mode or endless? it is added already at this moment?
Classic and the new challenge mode, Endless hasn't changed. Yes, those changes are in the game.
I will finally be able to play the game again Sunday. There have been so many updates in the last week and I can’t wait to test them and I especially can’t wait to fight evil team leaders.

Have fun!
went against fucking giovanni when i was doing a normal monotype and got my shit plowed by mewtwo
Team aqua grunt wiped me after it sent out 2 black clodsires I had only raichu to deal with water the rest of my team was weak to water and got wiped because the thing is godamn ground type
Cool changes honestly. Are they planning on implementing bosses to endless?
Challenges, modifiers and trainers should be a part of the incoming rework. I can't know for sure tho.
Should we buy the eggs from candies or should we wait incase they decrease the price?
I don't see them lowering the price so you can probably go for it. I can't know for sure tho.
I wonder if your doing a gen challenge, if the evil team will correspond to it like how the elite four does?
Cool idea that they’re probably already considering.
As of now, it seems not. I’m in a Gen 4 challenge and fought Maxie
Yeah was on Gen 1 fought Cyrus and team plasma
@@tiger2498 can confirm it does not, got giovanni on my gen 4 run
I beats maxie but it cost me my run. I can't get pass classics mode. Lol

0% of your are subscribed got me too lol
the devs keep making this game harder while also making pokes less fun to play with, hopefully this trend doesn't continue
