edit: Staryu Illuminate and Bouncy Bubble. Water Stone for Starmie shouldn't be that hard to find in early levels. I found another potential good multi-hitter. Poliwag, egg move Wildbolt Storm, passive No Guard. No Guard acts like a lure, you can check the game mechanics. Wildbolt Storm is your multi target move. It's 80 accuracy but No Guard negates that issue. It's not as hard hitting as some better carries, but more frequent double battles might allow for more efficient candy farming with mons that can't do much dmg themselves. Unrelated, currently farming for Pyuku, which definitely needs the double battles and carries for farming.

Endless runs don't take anywhere near 44 hours to complete, many first clears are 16-36 hours and grinding is 10-18 hours per run. Being off by a factor of 2 or 3 absolutely ruins all the calculations in this video

Honestly, I haven’t had any trouble with the evil teams so far, even in my mono-type challenges. I’ve defeated team Magma, team Aqua, Giovanni, Cyrus, and Ghetsis so far without it being too difficult. In my opinion, the evil teams battles are meant to check how sturdy and prepared your team is, and in that regard, you should always make sure to have a team that is as balanced as possible. Don’t sleep on tanky / bulky Pokémon, and moves like leech seed / sappy seed / protect / parting shot, etc. My best example is my mono-fire run. My MVP was BY FAR Magcargo. Yes, you heard me, Magcargo. His passive is Desolate land so his fire attacks are boosted AND he’s immune to water attacks, and he has access to Shell Smash, with a base Defense of 120. With only one cost reduction, Slugma costs 2, so… 👍🏼

Very nice video. But watch out for what you say at 7:34 it’s not 0,14% but 0,14 or 14%. And you should clarify that it’s the probability of getting the item on one item slot knowing that you rolled a rogue item. For the real probability it’s a lot more complicated than that.

The concept of the evil teams is great. The execution though, is subpar. Unless you run an OP/sweeper mon, you’re going to struggle. I like to try and beat classic with 6 different Pokémon every time, but now it seems like I’ll need to bring high IV and perfect nature Pokémon with their abilities unlocked. Catching Pokémon during a classic run is now hindered as well since there are so many more trainer battles. I got to the Abyss biome recently on wave 110 only to have 3 evil battles, an Ace trainer battle with 6 mons, and then the gym leader. They need to reduce the amount of evil encounters or the amount of Pokémon the grunts have, or just remove random trainers from those floors.

Team aqua grunt wiped me after it sent out 2 black clodsires I had only raichu to deal with water the rest of my team was weak to water and got wiped because the thing is godamn ground type

Yeah this update ended my classic run today lol... started seeing the grunts in the earlier waves not thinking anything of it. Just thought they were going to replace certain trainer battles. Then I fought the boss with 2 mons left because I was saving coin and had no idea he was coming 😂

I had to learn the hard way- I was on 165 and the team aqua boss showed up and alot of my Pokémon were fainted so there was nothing I could do
