i love this vid, as i own 96-0290 same crystal white speedster package. I do spot several things with this car that is not factory, but its things alota people do. Saleen didnt use those Saleens281 side badges with this generation Saleen, those came with the newedge mustangs. This Sn95 1stgeneration car came with the regular GT Sohc4.6 side badges For the s281, the Horse side badges for the s351 and the cobra for the rare cobra saleens. The horse badge came with the s351's because the cars originally were v6 mustangs, sold to saleen where they would sell the engines back to ford, and replace them with 351 Windsor blocks. The metallic momo shifter knob isnt original either, BUT it did come with a very nice momo sued/AL Cantera ergonomic shifter knob. problem being the sued would wear off and the leather fall apart, so even i myself, switched to the metallic momo knob that was used in the saleen s7. This vehicles also has replaced headlights with the yellow turning pods replace with white. of course some of those interior indicators were not stock, although you could get the saleen with the supercharger. It is and was a superior handling mustang. Think of it as a great grandaddy to the current shelby GT350. The s281 wasnt as fast as the s351 but has every bit of its driving and handling dynamics. its a sweet car and im glad i never sold mine.
