Incredible car. I feel like Saleen isn't the same today.
Sarasota Ford was at the time saleens biggest east coat dealer. I purchased my s281 speedster from their while attending college. Awesome car thru and thru. Some of the more special saleens passed thru their as well. the saleen cobras, the Basf Rainbow s351SR widebody. it was great and wonderful time. Think todays Shelby GT350 and 500 back in the 90's
I’m not a fan of foxbody mustangs, considering they used to look 1000000000X better in 1967 and 1969. However this one is kind of semi cool. Although for that kind of price it’s Boss429 all day for me :D

Wrong! By 1998 they were 302's!!! I had a 1995 # 072 that was originally a GT made into a S-351.Only the 94;s were V-6 cars originally.
The 302\5.0 liter was replaced by the 281\4.6 liter in 1996. This also would have been the first year Saleen produced an S281 from the GTs. Saleen was still buying V6 cars in '98 to convert to S351s since they would have been cheaper than the GTs. The 8th digit in the Vin designates the engine size which is "4" in this case and a 3.8 liter V6. @@MrPappysCobra 95-72 sure is a cool sounding original R-code car!! That's very interesting I would love to see the original Ford window sticker! Did it come with both that and the Saleen window sticker? The Fox body Saleens and SN95 cars are definitely some of my favorite. I did notice in the video of your car it has the Mustang and tri bar logo as the 6 cyls. would have been shipped to Saleen with. Is the 8th digit of the VIN a "4" or "T"? There's so many interesting stories about Saleen and their cars from the late 80's and 90's!
