Jerry West has passed away
Jerry West, Jerry West passing away, Jerry West past away, Jerry West death, Jerry West Lakers, Jerry West NBA Legend, Jerry West Highlights,
Jerry West Documentary, Jerry West NBA, Jerry West Michael Jordan,
They better not change the basketball logo. We will always be reminded of you while we’re playing. RIP Jerry West.
They definitely won’t now.
He lived a full life, he was 86. Cheers to him for doing so much for basketball
Bill Walton now Jerry West.
Heaven is drafting a strong team.
Goat personality and IQ too. Not just as player talent
Heaven? You mean that place where Wilt Chamberlain is crying for eternity because of Bill Russell?
@@DaTitan94no that’s not what he meant. 🤦🤫
@@DaTitan94 huh
@@ksager123 Ok ok ok here is the meaning and it was ment to be funny:
For me Wilt is the worst so he must be in hell and get punished all day long. Ok there is "Lucy" but Bill would do the job much more effectivly. Also what about Bill? He earned to be in heaven and also get rewarded.
Heaven is the place where Wilt can get effectivly be punished and this is the reward Bill earned.
I hope nobody got offended
Jerry West was a basketball genius and a defining figure in our league for more than 60 years.
He is clearly the perfect player for the logo. He literally embodied skill, desire, perseverance and a never give up attitude.
It is very sad that many of the NBA players who were active in the 1960s, such as Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, and Bill Russell, have passed away.
You are a standup guy Sean! We both appreciate great players and great human beings! Thank you!
Only player to win Finals MVP on the losing team. Congratulations on your dad’s birthday!
He also won NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player in 1959, despite his West Virginia Mountaineers losing in the Championship Game.
I just learn the news, he really was not only a great player but so truthful and very very humble, he's gonna be missed deeply. RIP Mr Jerry West
He was a legend of the game, one of the greatest ever. Not just as a player, but also as an executive. When you consider how many players have transitioned into being an executive at one time or another, and how few have found success in that new role, it's really apparent just how special he was, spotting talent, understanding what it takes to assemble a winning team, and how to foster a winning culture. This is expecially evident because of how he was able to carry his success with him from Los Angeles to Vancouver and to Golden State.
His success as an executive flys under the radar. He put together the showtime Lakes, the Shaq and Kobe Lakers, the grit and grime Grizzlies, he worked for the Warriors during their championship run and then went on to help assemble the current Clippers team. Everyone talks about Daryl Morrey like he's a basketball savant because he's put together a few squads that haven't even made the NBA finals.
He won more as a GM than player
RIP Jerry W. 🙏
The man was a complete package. From watching him on NBA Classic...that man was an absolute NIGHTMARE to the league in his time, his mind for the game was amazing, and his eye for talent was matched. The logo of our beloved league. Thank you Mr West...your legacy lives on.
I don't comments on youtube vídeos very often - it's actually been years, but I wanted to tell you that was a beautiful touching tribute, and I appreciated it a lot. Thank you.
RIP to one of the greatest NBA Legends. On the court and in the FO.
The myth, the man, the legend....THE LOGO! Jerry was one of the best to lace em up, a true gracious human being....a true class act
RIP Mr West, a true Icon
R.I.P. A fantastic player and team-builder, always spoke his mind. A huge loss!
Phenomenal player. Even greater man RIP 🙏🏽
One of the things he said near the end of the Top 75 NBA players draft -- "I won't be here when you guys do the Top 100 NBA players draft." RIP!
Thanks for the video and your respect shown. RIP
I just woke up and I hear that the logo Jerry West died RIP Legend
What a great human. A great player and a true friend to many. A total class person. Irreplaceable.
Hang in there BTM! Love your "show". You are also a real man and a gentleman along with Jerry. There is a reason you get this news from your father. Best to you, and your father and all.
RIP Jerry West you Will be missed
Thanks!!
#JW was a real legend!!
The coldest SG of all time until Michael and he's still up there to this day 🤘🏾😎... LEGENDARY PLAYER, TALENT EVALUATOR and Executive ! RIP
RIP Jerry West. A true basketball legend and icon. I watched a lot of his classic games and highlights on NBA TV and ESPN classic and he was a beast on the court. He's one of my favorite players and I'm a huge fan of his. I even patterned my whole entire game after him. He was one of a kind as a player, coach, scout, executive and a great person. Thank you Mr.Clutch for everything that you give to the game of basketball. My hero.
If you Google Jerry West there's a pic of Jerry & Kobe---a bittersweet smile for me, love them both. Thank you for sharing BTM, deepest condolences to family, friends and fans. 💕
Rest in Paradise Jerry West❤❤❤❤❤ FOREVER LEGEND 🙏 💪 🏀

Great basketball player. Great coach. Great life. Great man.
BTM showing love. Not for clicks but just respect. This is why we appreciate this channel. Love your passion dude.
Rest in peace true legend
Tough week for basketball fans. RIP West & Walton. Great video as always
It's been a rough month for NBA legends. RIP Walton and the logo. Bill Russell and Jerry West were men I looked up to growing up because of how they conducted themselves as men. Now both are gone and I'm sad.
I just learned about his passing through the notification of your channel. So so sad to hear about it... Thank god he passed away peacefully. No accident, no sickness - peacefully! Sean, keep your head up mate! I appreciate your honesty! Much love from Berlin
RIP to the LOGO!!!
He gave his heart to being the best he could be--and he more than fulfilled it. It made him better than his peers. For all that modern players talk about this guy or that, there's a fact: Jerry West did it all. And he went into management and changed the game there too.
Dear Sean, I can see that you're deeply hurt! Mr. West, if you're somehow reading this message, unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to see you as a player, but I'd marvel at your era because of the number of rings that Mr. Russell got, Mr. Chamberlain's and Mr. Robertson's records, and also Mr. Cousy being a magician on the court and Mr. Baylor soaring through the air for acrobatic dunks and layups! But I had the honor and the privilege to have witnessed you as one of the top two GMs I've ever witnessed (the other one being Mr. Auerbach). You're one of the reasons why I fell in love with the game of basketball since you helped put together the Showtime Lakers when I was a kid in the 80s (I was born in 1977), and as a young adult in the early 2000s when you helped put together the Shaq, Kobe, Phil Jackson team! Thank you for everything and for being the logo of my favorite sports league and RIP! My sincere condolences to your family and friends! RIP Mr Clutch! And dear Sean, I've been watching every video on your channel for years, and you're doing a great job, love your content, and keep up the good work! And happy birthday to your father and God bless y'all! Peace out!
I was JUST rewatching his interview with Terrell Owens yesterday!!! #RIP.
Great man, great player, great general manager. Watched him battle Oscar, Walt Frazier, Norm Van Lier, Jerry Sloan, the Celtics, the 76ers, the Knicks. Great competitor, always gracious and understated. One of a kind.
Rip the logo
Everyone who knows basketball loves Jerry West. I’m heartbroken just like you guys. I will pray for Jerry and his family
Man this hit me hard. I used to live within walking distance from the WVU coliseum and drive by his big statue almost every day. My grandparents were lakers fans my whole life because of Jerry West. Alot of people in WV are lakers fans because we never had a pro team so Jerry West's lakers was it, and that contined after he retired from playing of course. If you aren't from WV its hard to comprehend how much he means to us as a state. He is our Micheal Jordan easily. Zeke from cabin creek! The most iconic West Virginian of all time, rest in peace.
RIP to the legend
College basketball phenomenon, Olympic champion, nine times to the finals, won finals MVP while on the losing team!, coach, executive who guided the Lakers to talent on the court and on the bench. The logo.
RIP Jerry West. You shaped the game in so many ways.
Thanks man. 🙏
Damn, first Bill Walton now Jerry West. It's hard getting older
Jerry West arguably was the most impactful on the history of the NBA because not only was he a top 3 SG all-time but he created 2 Lakers dynasties and the eventual Warriors dynasty (minus KD).
Well said
One of the greatest players of all time
R.I.P Jerry West The Logo
Man that sucks =( Seemed to have a kind heart. Rest in peace sir.
R.I.P Mr West
Just imagine having Wilt, Elgin Baylor AND Jerry West on the same squad. I don't have to imagine watching them utterly demolish my Seattle Supersonics in the early 1970s. My uncle had season tickets for the Sonics from day one in '67 until he passed away in 2000. I was blessed to be able to see these legendary players, even if they were on the other team.
Country roads took Jerry West home. It's a sad to be a Mountaineer. RIP JW
Thanks Mr. Jerry West you're family and friends have my condolences 🙏.
RIP to Mr. Clutch (the Logo) Jerry West. 😢💪🙏🏾
RIP Jerry. Jerry has right when he says that 75 fantasy nba draft will be his last. Everybody knew he was right, no one expects that year later.
RIP Jerry
When Bill Walton said something, it was in one ear and out the other, but when Jerry West had something to say, I would stop and really listen to what the guy had to say...
Only player to be installed in the hall of fame THREE times! RIP legend.
The logo, RIP
Omg rip logo. Man walton then west in so short of time. Its a tragedy. Rip fellas.
RIP "The Logo"
Why did you start with "unfortunately"? I mean, its obviously sad news, but I think its wonderful you dropped this !!
R.I.P to the LOGO
Rip Mr West 😪😪😪
Rip mr clutch himself
RIP Jerry West
Basketball gentlemen x10
Happy birthday to your dad
How is it possible to win MVP on losing team? I gotta watch that series. Never seen him play but make him on the logo gold now.
Man =, I hope he kew the Lord and may he rest in peace.
Jerry West had a vertical so high at 35 he could jump straight up and touch above the square and had 2.6 spg last year, which was 1st year NBA kept stats on steals. #notaplumber
Clutch Jerry west
DAM 😭😭
Damn. RIP Jerry West.
The young guys disrespect the old timers and call them plumbers because they played in the development era of the nba. The day they die then they become special. Wow ! 😢
No. 😢
R.I.P. the logo!!!
🕯
Do an episode on Chick Hearn! If you know ANYTHING about old school NBA basketball!
Well said Sir!
There are only 2 Logos that Matters.....JORDAN AND WEST.........
Lebrons lobbying to change the logo to himself starts now

The NBA and basketball has inherited so much from this legend Rest in peace Mr. Clutch

Was a great person! RIP
RIP Jerry. Very sad.
Thank you for sharing your heartfelt thoughts. Jerry West was indeed an amazing man and he will be missed greatly!
Man this is sad
The logo.
RIP to Mr Jerry "The Logo" West
RIP LOGO Jerry West
R.i.p
Atleast he reunited with Kobe and its crazy how I was watching him grieve over kobe in a sit down with shaq at the Lakers Court in a UA-cam clip yesterday and read the comments saying that they need to check on Jerry since he's old and don't need that kind of stress
i wish i had his competitive edge. He accepted what it took to do what others cant. He grinded. I bet he was in the gym like kobe before kobe. I bet he couldnt stand losing. But it made winning that much better
RIP to the logo. We'll miss you.
