Ah. My Spanish is quite rusty despite me living in the southwest. And there are many words that I don't know the translation of. Still pretty hilarious though.
+THE SANDSEEKER U.K He's not just a regular moron. He's the product of the some of the greatest minds of a generation working together with the express purpose of building the dumbest moron who ever lived.
They build Wheatley up for the first half of the game to be your greatest ally and only friend, then have him turn on you and become your greatest enemy. It's so sad but makes the game so much better than it was already.
You guys seriously didn't see that one coming from a mile away? "You're gonna backstab me, aren't you?" was literally my first thought when I saw Wheatley.
Wheatley was one of those rare villains that makes you hate and love them at the same time. When Wheatley was shot into space, I wanted it to happen to resolve the game, but at the same time, I didn't want to see him go. Those are the best villains.
Well, the difference is that you expect Wheatley to put himself in bad situations and hurt himself, while GlaDOS is the mastermind of both games, so of course hearing her in pain is bizarre
I am going to play the devil’s advocate here. Wheatley literally died, risked his life a second time, navigated the facility, and had to make shady deals with nanobots in order to save Chell. He did this when he could have very well left the facility on his own. Albeit it would’ve taken a while, but he didn’t entirely need to save Chell in order to leave the facility, which was his central goal. The facility is completely operational again, he doesn’t need to go into the circuit chamber in order to turn on the escape pods, they are already on. He just needs to active it and drop himself inside of it. He came back to save Chell anyways, risking his life a second time just to save her from GLaDOS. Meanwhile in his perspective, Chell was just doing tests and jumping around.
GD ArcticWolf622 Replying to a 3 year old comment here, but no, I disagree. First of all, Chell never died, she only risked her life, _just like Wheatley did, more than once._ He knew (or thought at the very least) that there was a chance that he would die if he disengaged himself from his management rail or turn his flashlight on, yet he did it anyway to guide Chell. He _was_ ready to die for their commun goal. *Secondly, Glados crushed him. He remained damaged and twitching until you plugged him into the mainframe.Thats an actual sacrifice. That's actual, physical damage* unlike what chell had withstood up until that point. I dont get why people forget this.
@@actuallobster1775 You're right, actually. I've always just kinda seen the things that Wheatley has actually done as not as big of a sacrifice due to having played the game so many times. I also felt like Wheatley was just being a huge jerk.

I love the little atmospheric things they added in. Like with GLaDOS was disconnected and Wheatley wasn't fully in charge yet the panels go limp. Also when Wheatley is mad, the panels come up and show the red eyes. Its the little things that make this game so good

He then went back into the facility after escaping to save Chell from dying by rerouting her cryo chamber to the reserve power grid to prevent shutdown however he got it leg shot in the process and probably dies, If there is anybody to feel bad for in the Portal Facility it's gotta be Doug Ratman in my opinion.
