Stripping these various TV's & Monitors - was very Interesting - Lots of Trinkets - Good Values ! Getting Your Cans Ready for a Run ! Great lang Video - very Enjoyable and many Cheers from Australia !
I follow some facebook CRT collector groups. There's places in the states where Sony Trinitrons can sell for a hundred dollars or more. A Sony professional video monitor from that era can sell for over a thousand. I have a couple ones in bad shape I should scrap out but I can't bring myself to do it yet.
Yeah that was a good video. You're talking about the weights and the containers. Why don't you get a black magic marker and write the weights on the side of the container. So when you go to the scrap yard you'll be able to compare your weight and what they say on their scale. Something you might want to try and you won't get me getting ripped off. I don't pick up TVs or just too much crap in them and hard to get rid of the plastic and there's not worth it. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Fun video Phil, seemed like one of those flat screen has some decent stuff but the others not so much. Do they all have the gold corner chip? I’ve got a big flat screen gave out recently my yard won’t take them was going to have to dump may scavenger the inside if it seems worth anything. I enjoy the taking stuff apart as much as any of it😊
If the yard does not take, if you have a town or gov run charity, they might be obligated to take the flat screen TV:s. Otherwise just scrap them and put plastic into general mixed waste at home. The screen you can put into hazardous waste. The screen has inside some milky white plastic sheets, semi stiff. Some take them and use as backing for photos when they want to sell stuff online. Or if they need white back board for a smallish cupboard.
@ our town will take it but only once a year it’s a great big flat screen I would have to chop it up with sawzall to get in my regular trash I may revisit the issue later this winter if I run out of stuff to process
Making money and cleaning up the yard. Glad that storm didn't slam you. Thanks for the video.
Thanks 👍

Yes, always demand tare check. Depends who is there, you can get cheated even if the yard in general is good.
When Copper is $5 a pound you have to watch
Write it in Felt tip pen all the weights on the bucket before hand.
Mark the wets on your buckets
older tv's have copper newer tv's not so much, but newer tv's have boards if you're into doing boards. Great video nice trinkets to add to the tubs
