Expansion on the water park would be nice, a short slide into a plunge pool, surfing a wave, and perhaps wetter additions to the runaway river would all be great. Some of these were features of Wildwater Kingdom in years past!
Dorney needs a wooden coaster, some new, more modern flat rides, and new water slides. There’s a lot of empty plots of land that can fit some new flat rides. The area by Steel Force needs a roller coaster. And now that lighting falls is gone, new water slides are needed.

Getting rid of Journey to the Center of the Earth is a crime against humanity that Dorney has yet to answer for

i was there on Sunday as well and LOVED Iron Menace and everything in the Steel Yard and Steel Force's new lift! 2 things through that were of concern to me.. the re-design of Chickie & Pete's is horrendous! i waited 45 min just to pick up a cheesesteak and fries and the location of the Freestyle machines created a huge bottleneck.. the other thing is it woulda been nice for them to add a refresh station in the new shaded lounge area because Iron Mill is the only location in that entire area to refill and since there is no line bypass to just scan the cup or your season pass, waiting in that line when it is busy is not ideal and the nearest location is at Burger Barn.. i mean there are 10+ refill locations at the top of the park and just 1 that serves the entire back end of the park from the Whip to Thunderhawk to Steel Force and back through Steel Yard.. aside from those two things, the day was great!
The park did have a wooden roller coaster. It was a favorite of mine. Beneath it was the bumping cars. The original heavy weight cars. Ride the roller coaster then the bumping cars and do this all day. From this video it would appear it still is there. I hope so. My father and my uncle helped build it. I believe that was in the 1920s.
I hope it’s not a long wait this year
What should this park get next? Perhaps a new roller coaster where Dinosaurs Alive used to sit, or a Planet Snoopy expansion, or a Funtime Star Flyer, or a new waterpark addition such as a mat racer or water coaster. Yes to all.
They already have a mat racer but i’m 100% on board for a water park addition. it’s been 10 years since snake pit.
Yeah new WWK slide tower seems like a given. Also, I wouldn’t mind them updating the area by the Ferris Wheel, maybe adding a new flat over there as that area is usually very quiet.
