I am a white gay American who visited Patong Beach twice in 2024 and as a result, I have 8 Thai friends that keep in touch with me. They were attracted to me because I was old, white, and they thought rich. Once they got to know me, they liked me and we have so much fun. Andy, in my opinion differences are what make us unique. Being unique is a wonderful thing. It's those differences that attract people to us. Celebrate who and what you are, put it out there for the world to see and they will respond back in kind! The haters in the world won't be your friends but who cares? Let them hate somewhere else.
This video makes me so happy 🎉 I laughed out loud literally. Andrew is such a fun and lovely guy, and I can totally relate to the part of being an Asian kid❤❤
I happened to stumble upon your channel with this video being the first I watched, I love your posts! Regarding Andy mistaken you as a Thai, I have to say that you do look Thai to be honest 😁
Nong Andrew should definitely have a YT channel. His perfect English would be a clear window into the Thai psyche and his not looking like a Thai would only add to the X factor. His suggestion on securing a discount in Thai is cringe though lol. Only good-looking foreigners would be able to pull that off. So, Steve can go do it 😊
I love that my home town bkk has a very diverse ethnicity and many religions living together in a peaceful society. However, some people still has misconceptions about different ethnicities and occasionally people will let slip insensitive remarks, especially if they think you don't understand Thai. It's just ignorance rather than bigotry, so please make allowances for the educationally disadvantaged.
Growing up black in Thailand must have given you such a unique perspective on blending cultures. What’s been the most valuable lesson from navigating both Asian and Farang values?
Growing up, the art of compromise and Cultural Etiquette has been very useful for me! I think this goes very well with having confidence in oneself which is not a very natural attribute as a Thai ^^.
I want to have international friends in Thailand. 5 years ago I study in US and I had lots of International friends. Now I want to join Sabai run club but Im not good at running. Can u just have coffee club? I would join for sure. I drink 2 cups of coffee everyday
@@andrewseangsubin1626 ohhh I think now u already love running 😂😂. If I join running , maybe every step I will think when it’s time to drink coffee🤣🤣 if I don’t drink coffee, that day I can’t do work
@@VintageThaiLadyBoy if educated in a Thai public school...the English taught is minimal. He did mention how his Mom worked hard for his education, so maybe she sent him to private school. But private schools are ery expensive. Regardless he should be proud of his ability.
It's already one of my favorite channels.👍
Thank you ☀️☀️
As a half Thai black person, I would love to connect with Andy or learn more about his experiences. Good interview
I love Andy's energy!

Our running club is very sabai, and we have coffee after. Very chill na
I didn't run before until I joined Sabai Run club! You should try! Run and then coffee is such a vibe!

Andy is very nice.
Not to be too personal, but if Andy's Dad didn't teach him English, how did he become a native speaker ? Great guy, much respect.
Clearly, he's been a good student.

He had no father, a single mom raised him well.
