For that hard right angle you were laying with chopped stand mat on the bumper and top of the fenders, use a heat gun. It will pre-melt some of the styrene binder and allow it to hold shape for you and not want to pull up and leave a bubble.

I will try that! I know on fender it went better i used fiberglass cloth then layed up the mat after
