Today video driving start @ exiting off ramp on McDonald Ave.
I drove around downtown of Richmond California. I heard so much about Richmond California. If you have been here and please share some of your story with us. Very much appreciate it.
ABOUT RICHMOND CALIFORNIA:
Richmond (/ˈrɪtʃmənd/) is a city in western Contra Costa County, California, United States. The city was incorporated on August 7, 1905 and has a city council.[14] Located in the San Francisco Bay Area's East Bay region, Richmond borders San Pablo, Albany, El Cerrito and Pinole in addition to the unincorporated communities of North Richmond, Hasford Heights, Kensington, El Sobrante, Bayview-Montalvin Manor, Tara Hills, and East Richmond Heights, and for a short distance San Francisco on Red Rock Island in the San Francisco Bay. Richmond is one of two cities, the other being San Rafael, California, that sits on the shores of both San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay.
During Gayle McLaughlin's mayoralty, Richmond was the nation's largest city with a Green Party mayor.[15] As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the city's population was 103,710, making it the country's second-largest city named Richmond. The largest is Richmond, Virginia.

@17:01 (the Richmond auditorium) is where Run-DMC and LL Cool J would perform before they blew all the way up. Surprisingly...they came to Richmond before they'd go to Oakland. East coast rappers loved Richmond Ca.

Richmond San Pablo my home town all my life where I was raised lived went to Dover school in the early 60s went to Downer Jr high in the late 60s went to Richmond high in very early of the 70s I moved out away at last all my family are gone from there or passed away buried in sanpablo cemetery by El portal .....nice video thank you 😊
