Looks pretty wild, but besides some teasers that have largely flown under the radar for most, we don’t even have a name or release date for the project.
I played it and I love it but its not perfect. Compared to Fallout 1/2 and mods like Fallout Nevada, Sonora, Fallout 1.5 Resurection I think its the smallest but fortunatly the team works on something new, a whole game on a new engine if im correct and I looking forward to try it!
Some Russians that survive with a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of vodka per day make better stuff with the game they love than billion dollar companies. Not just Fallout, but HoMM3 is also a great example when mods surpase what the ip owner does with the franchise.

They've got shareholders and so they have to play it safe. That's the reason they make only shitty, simple games for casuals like FO4 or FO76. They gotta sell as many copies as possible.
In my personal opinion the should do what they are doing with quake try to keep it in the same style and feel but bump it up and make it for new consoles. The fact that I need to pay 150 or so bucks a month just to play fo3 or new vagas is insane. It should feature great quality without taking away from the style adding the new power armor system with slightly (not many differences) updated gunplay and gameplay features you will have master pieces beyond human comprehension. If the fallout series was next gen rebooted even if it's just small like a port with better graphics it would make people really happy
One of the greatest tragedies of Fallout, is Bethesda's mismanagement of the IP. There's a mountain of opportunity, with some incredibly passionate and talented people working on the games in some way. A remaster of the originals would be too good for this world
I'm glad Bethesda hasn't hired him, so that he can still do what he does best. They'd force him to work with the Creation Kit and it would suck all the soul out of his work
Remaster Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics ( The Midwestern BoS horned power armor in remaster graphics 🥵) F:T needs to be easier to run on Steam! + In general for all first three games, some healthy tweaking, cleanup, add sensible cut things etc suggested by Tim Cain.
