Trust me when I say this, the BEST moments in one piece are NOT spoiled for you. Things that get spoiled are big moments, sure, but the best moments are the small details that dont even get talked about. If you know, you know what I mean.
Exactly my thought even watching this I’m like bruh I know alot of luffy moment spoilers but there’s sooooooooo much stuff going on with a plethora of characters I doubt I’ll ever be “spoiled”
This exactly. I started it in July of 23 and just caught up with anime and manga. I was spoiled the entire time on all the big “spoilers”. Finding out how everything happens in context and the significance of it makes watching one piece 10x better.
Same,as big naruto fans,i watch a lot of one piece epic moment,because I'm curious "how good one piece is".
And after watching the "One Piece Epic Moment" from YT I didn't feel it was better than Naruto, until finally I watch the anime .... My mind completely changed

Naruto was cool for its time. It’s legendary with DBZ. But One piece is a global phenomenon. The day Luffy finds the One Piece is gonna break the world. World wide news is gonna cover it. One Piece truly is a once in a lifetime story to experience.
Don't rush it; don't try to catch up; take your time and enjoy the show even if it's going to take a year, because when you reach a certain point in the story, you go from "it's too long" to "damn, I wish it was longer".

The show took me by surprise. I started to watch it because I was looking for something in anime with a lot of adventure that I haven’t really felt since original Dragon Ball (young Goku).
One Piece is my favorite anime, one of my favorite fictional stories and world.

The good thing about being spoiled is that one piece really isn't about the moments out of context.

I've rewatched the whole series, some arcs several times, and there are moments that are just as impactful now as they were the first time I saw them.
I _know_ how it turns out, and I still get goosebumps, I still get tears, I still get excited and scared and relieved, even knowing what's coming.
This show is about the journey, not the destination. The little moments make the big ones that much more powerful.

one thing with one piece for me. is most new age anime cant even compare beside visuals. the story telling the world building there is just nothing that comes close. I'm tried a lot of newer anime, JJK, My hero academia.. and so on but nothing hits the way one piece has.. its wild we have been spoiled with such a S tier anime/manga

It doesnt matter if you know spoilers and stuff. I was the same with naruto. I watched it about 2 years ago and i knew stuff like kurama, truth about itachi, who obito is, madara and so on. It was still an amazing experience to get the whole story and all the context behind the stuff i knew

Welcome to the crew. I think every one piece fan goes through the same progression. You watch other anime and compared to more darker edgy anime it looks cartoony and childish and are intimidated by the 1100 chapters. Once you get into it the story and world pull you in. When you get close to catching up you will be wishing their were 1000 more because its do detaled and epic adventure 😊

I've been a Naruto fan at first but the show reached its peak and went downhill from there. One piece though, it just keeps getting interesting each arc we go through, hell for a show that has been going on for 25+ years its appeal never faded, the backstories, the world building, the deep lore beneath the adventure facade, it just keeps getting better. Each chapter Oda releases is better than the last, hell for a show with 1000+ chapters, ask each fan and they'll tell you they want more, definitely an Odyssey of the modern era

One Piece is a great show and even if folk spoil you with things when you watch it; it'll still keep you on your toes. Never really know what's gonna happen, even with spoilers because there's just too much and too many things to spoil that you'd need to read essays about the events.

@@MarcIzanagiReacts Haha. Well my biggest problem with Naruto was the author's choice of direction with the character and story. So much potential, I thought they should have pulled it for as long as OP with a much a bigger story. Literally just dropped the whole shinobi/alien concept and just left it there for Boruto to F with lol. Not getting to see Naruto grow up all the way to Hokage was also a huge bummer for me. That's why Oda will always be the best. Yet to disappoint!
