Very interesting-these are beautiful instrument clusters on the W211, especially the circular LCD display and the speedo hand that doesn’t extend to the centre of the dial. I also like the LCD water temp and fuel indicators. An excellent design…that looks even better with the white dials.
great tutorial, thank you. I get no instrument panel lighting on w219 but lcd's and lights all work fine, except that the lcd sometimes misbehaves on tempomat. Do you have any thoughts on how to troubleshoot and fix it? Thank you for your help with this vid, would be very grateful if you would help on my q.
Hola Chicos yo tengo un problema en mi tablero no enciente las esferas donde se pueden ver los numeros solo las agujas y en la noche no se puede ver el kilometraje, Espero alguien me pueda ayudar que puede ser?
I would buy another cluster and build one well working from the two. That's what I did and the one I assembled works perfect. It must be cheaper than having yours repaired. Good luck!
Hi! I bought a cluster for my 2003 e320 because my original had the central LCD display damaged and I can’t read nothing. But my car doesn’t recognize the odometer!! Will I have to disassemble both to change the LCD display?
I would buy a used cluster and change the two gauges. Maybe just use another cluster. It is plug n play, except that the old milage will not be taken from the old cluster.
@@zoeeokllkteneur I couldn't figure it out. Mine shows the milage from the new cluster, fortunately 40k less. I will inform the new owner about it once the car is sold.

Yes, I think so
You have to code your new cluster at the dealer so that it displays the correct mileage.
i need the +12v and ignition cluster pinout for a 2005 Mercedes CLK320
I'm afraid I can't help you with that.
nice tutorial 🙏🏻
my rpm light and the speed light is dead, how should i do?

@@cruisingaround-travelvideo5738 oo i see thx for your information 🙏🏻

@@cruisingaround-travelvideo5738 how can you program the miles from the old cluster to the new one?
Where is the mileage stored on the cluster? I was thinking of getting a used one and just keep whatever board keeps my mileage
I am not sure. Maybe in the electronics under the large central display?
That's exactly what I did. Fortunately the milage was less in the "new" one.
is the w211 E320 and E200 use the same gauge? can they fit over
It is possible. There are plenty of different part numbers of clusters. Check the plugs and try it out. Automatic won't fit a manual
@@homokizsolt its automatic to automatic, yeah i ordered the item today so i`ll se if it fits when ever it arrives.
