Love the vids. Do you ever try off the beach up Holywell or abit further round? If you catch around there there usually real good sizes. As long as you don't lose to much tackle 😢.

I do fish there occasionally but not as much as I probably should tbh it is quite rough ground as you prob know depending on where you fish there but I will make more effort this year hopefully to give it a go :)
UV light just don't look at it directly or point it into your eyes or anyone else.

nice video im going langley point tmrw or i might go to where youve gone today what would you say would be better going for flat fish on 1 rod and then my rlly small 6 ft rod ill try target rays but i dont know if they are strong and if it will work

This video was from last week, my videos are usually a week behind real time due to editing ect.
I would personally fish your bigger sized rod for rays cast as far as you can
On your smaller rod I would fish for flats close in

@@TheEastbourneFisherman thank you also could you make a video on casting because i learnt this technique where you cast and you aim low but for some reason it snapped i think its something with my rod because i made sure to check the knot like 3 times and it happened twice but then i did the normal over head and nothing happened

Also just wanted to ask I moved down to bexhill and took early retirement and started beach fishing in the last two years and totally love it. But wanted to start night fishing in Bexhill is this safe to do by yourself?

I would think so tbh I have fished alot on my own
I tend to fish nights mid week if I'm on my own as there is less people around to bother you
Weekends I fish with friends
I tend to stay away from crouded places at weekends if fishing on my own eg Eastbourne town centre beaches as I just prefer the quietness
Happy to fish a session with you at night local to you if it makes you feel easier and to get used to it 👍

What do you do for work? Feel mental when I've pulled those kind of hours
I work for a safety equipment supplier in a factory, I do some fabrication and fork lift work tbh it doesn't really affect me now as I'm used to it. I do like the early morning sessions tho feels great to get out and be the only one about!
