Nice review. One small correction. Stone never said he believed everything he put in the movie. He just said he put everything in as a 'counter-myth' to the Warren Report. He admitted some of it may not be true but that it was as equally credible as the WR.
The entire cast is incredible-but Gary Oldman is amazing as always.

This is also one of my favorite movies. I've owned this on Laserdisc for years and only recently upgraded to Blu-ray last year before I found out about the 4k.
Watching the 4k (and listening to it), I thought the 5.1 track was quite good. Great even. And, I didn't notice any problems with the mix with the music in the rears overpowering the dialog.
Do you recall which disc/cut and scene (or time) that this happened? I'd like to relisten to that area.
It happened a few times during the film. Most notably during the scene where Garrison meets with Mr. X. This was on the 4K disc. It could just be the setup of my home theater so like I said, your mileage may vary.
