Fun fact: The last glitch shown in the video can also be done but with bowser on screen, it will freeze him, freeze you, and not drop the bridge. You just need to hit the button to drop the bridge before you trigger the bowser scene, which is impossible without cheats of course.
Not sure if if it hadn't been discovered when this video was being made or if it was just skipped over, but there's another glitch for this game: If you long jump perpendicular to the direction you want to go from a high point (such as the secret Luigi platform in world 2-3) then move towards your destination, you can get a lot of speed.
Way late on this, but some games implement a custom draw range feature that allows you to set the distance at which something loads in manually. It could explain that disappearing Goomba bug.
Yo what's your e-mail a snapped a really odd glitch in Super Mario Maker for the 3DS where 3 blocks with no texture and or only visible when I step on them while in test mode and they cannot be placed where they are located.
5:22 learned this funny glitch in World 7-5where the camera freaks out and the camera glides to 2 fake goombas. Every time I do this glitch it makes me laugh.

In W7-1 at the very beginning of the stage if you long jump just at the right spot, you can get across the water you need to fall in to do the level and can beat the level extremely fast, I got it in 9 and my brother in 7!
Actually, the glitch at 3:36 occurs even when you aren't sliding down a wall. When you are in midair, your shadow goes through any platforms beneath you. It's just a lot more obvious when you're wall sliding.
for the glitch in 2:34 minute you can't do it if you complete the final boss of the normal worlds, since from that point all help powerups won't appear
With the infinite 1up exploit/glitch its a lot faster to use the first koopa, just stand on the question block, face the wall, and jump on it while its somewhat in the middle. Its really helpful becuase you can do it until the timer runs out, and when it does you'll just spawn at the checkpoint so thats pretty neat
1:10 it could be because with a Tanooki Leaf, the rolling long jump involves Mario spinning his tail, but since when you jump on an enemy in a rolling long jump you do the normal long jump animation, it doesn't look like he's swinging his tail. 2:45 maybe because when you have the Invincibility Leaf, you kill anything you touch, but since the Enemy Spawner doesn't spawn an enemy when you're on it, it has slightly different programming and isn't meant to be killed in this state. Therefore it respawns within the next frame.
Hey Andy, I recently found another form of the infinite 1-up trick in this game. Go to S1-3 and make sure you have a leaf (statue of normal). Next, go to the baddy box and just keep bouncing on the Goombas. This ended up getting me an infinite amount of lives.
2:33 I know this is pretty late but this also happens in Mario Odyssey, in Metro Kingdom, go to the area with the letters that spell Mario, if the camera is facing the pedestal of the letters, tilt around 135° to the right and you will see a man on the edge of a map cheering on nothing, but if you get closer to him, he'll disappear.

For the infinite lives glitch, I used the koopa on the left and stood in the middle of the space. Also go above the Koop as to find a secret (tunnel?) that leads you to a warp to world 2.

Infinite 1-up tricks have never been a glitch and never will be. Possibly an exploit in the first game but since then it's always been intentional.
