Three Questions: 1️⃣ Have you had Montenegro? 2️⃣ What is your favorite Montenegro cocktail? 3️⃣ Which of these three are you most interested in? Cheers! 😉🤙🏽🇮🇹
Thank you for stating what Old Tom is, never really knew that... Also, not a fan of using ginger liqueur and then losing those flavors... Maybe I'd drop back some of the rum and up the ginger... Gonna try some of these soon!
I actually think using a ginger syrup would have worked out better than a liqueur. Maybe I'll try it if I ever feel so inclined. Old Tom gin isn't seen in too many recipes but it's a nice bottle to have in hand.
Thanks for this series. I will have to go back and review this series once I start using Amaro. I want to start falling in love with it. thanks for inspiration. cheers
Love this series! I'm missing several of the key ingredients so I may not be digging in soon. But, I wanted to mention that Jason Clapham (Hunter's Verdict) is a prolific cocktail inventor and I am a fan of his "Landing Gear." Cheers!
Thanks, my brother! Yes, I've enjoyed a fair share of Jason's cocktails. I made the Landing Gear my moons back on the channel. He makes a lot of booze forward drinks, which I prefer. Cheers pal.
I really haven’t played with Monty and rum much (other than an OF variant with Jamaican rums and banana liqueur). I LOVE Oh My Word (my first Monty cocktail). Definitely going to stir up a Battle Annie!
Good thing I turned on notifications. Beautiful cocktails. Didn't Sutter write "I'm Just Here For the Drinks" also? I love Montenegro for its citrus elements.
One cocktail I love is a Rosalita: 3/4 oz. lime juice, 1/2 or 3/8 oz. agave syrup, 1/2 oz. Montenegro, 2 1/2 ox. reposado tequila. Shake and strain. It doesn't taste anything like you anticipate.

Thanks my friend. Cheers!
I've yet to make any cocktails with Montenegro... I should remedy that!
It's a great amaro for cocktails. Cheers!

Rum and amaro in general are not exactly a dime a dozen. So not surprised it wasn't the perfect pairing, though I still enjoyed the drink. Cheers pal!

Yes, he did. Thanks for pointing that out actually. Cheers pal. *EDIT: I was able to do a ROUGH edit using YT’s post upload studio. Ha!
I do love haymen as an old tom gin
It doesn’t get much better.

I’ve had the Rosita cocktail, which uses Campari but not the Rosalita. Will definitely try it. Thanks for the rec. Cheers!
Can you please make a shake method also
