Three Questions: 1️⃣ Have you ever had Cynar? 2️⃣ What is your favorite Cynar cocktail? 3️⃣ Which of these three cocktails interest you most? Cheers! 😉🤙🏽🥃
I love, love, love Cynar!! I think it's my favourite Amaro!! IF I have been able to bring back Amer Picon from France (3 times!! -OMG it's the best!!) then the Bensonhurst is my favourite Cynar cocktail and I also love the Rancor's Toothpick!! Ce Soir might come my new favourite!! I love all these cocktails Vino!! I love stirred, fall, elegant, sophisticated drinks and you have made them here!! Wowza!! Challazing is the best!! Think of Ce Soir as Say Soir!! You da best my friend!! I hope you and your wife and daughter have a fabulous weekend Vino!! Cheers my friend!! 🙂
@@christinecamley I'm so with you on Cynar. It's the nectar of the gods. lol. I've had sooo many cocktails with the stuff and I can honestly I've loved them all. I tried to make lesser known ones for this videos since most Cynar fans have already had the Little Italy or Art of Choke. Hopefully you get a chance to try a couple of these on for size. Wishing you and your husband a fantastic weekend. Cheers my dear friend! 🥃
The Art of Choke is currently my favorite Cynar libation. However, the Ce Soir has got my interest to try as a nightcap. I’ll be giving it a mix this evening. Great work coach, put me in.!
I do love the Art of Choke. I try to make lesser know cocktails in these spirit focused videos otherwise the Art of Choke would definitely have made the list. Cheers!
Cynar is delicious, I recommend the "100 year old cigar" or the more classic "Road Dog". very interested in trying ce soir the "Ce Soir" (=this evening)
I love the 100 Year Old Cigar but crazy enough I've yet to get around to the Road Dog. I tend to lean towards the Little Italy for my Cynar/Manhattan riff. Cheers!
Cynar is one I've been on the lookout for. I saw a Reddit post once that said you could use a combination of Campari and Averna (4 parts Averna to 1 part Campari) as substitute. What are the odds that it's close? The Son of Man sounds great to me! Cheers Vino!
My man, Sean! That interesting using Campari and Averna as a sub for Cynar. I find it hard to believe but I'll have to give it a try. For science. ha! Cheers, pal.
@coachvinollc I actually have both, but obviously I can't compare it to cynar. LOL! If you do try it, let me know if it is actually close enough for me to get by!
@@seanpannebaker6404 our next Drinking Buddies will me amaro themed. So I think I'll try it live! That'll be fun. Hopefully you'll remember to remind me if you're on the live. I'll see if the fellas try it too.
Well the second one name is sir (without the r) Swar , which is French for tonight. Perfect wash line on the last sipper. All delicious though I need to bump Doff Your Hat up the to make list now.
Okay, more meaningful comments here ... That Doff Your Hat sounds really tasty (I'll be using Gin). Ce Soir is is indeed a good one (I use 2 oz Cognac), and I must say The Hawthorne is a bar name I see often and great drinks seem to come from there. If it's still open, and if I ever get back to Boston someday, I am going in! Now, the Son of Man also sounds really good (Calvados and Montenegro? Wow!) but I've no Galliano. I'd think either Herbsaint or Sambuca as the substitute, or maybe Licor 43, depending on whether you're looking for the Anise notes or the vanilla ones. I know you're not all about the Anise, so whatdoyathink? Help me out here .....
I would definitely say Sambuca or Herbsaint (I'm leaning towards the Sambuca). The only reason I even have Galliano is because when you grow up in Little Italy, someone is bound to gift you a bottle of the stuff. haha! I've grown to appreciate anise more but it's still not my go to. I've been drinking fennel tea lately after lunch, so that licorice flavor is growing on me. I think. 😉
At 7, I was wondering if Vino had a new video, but no, nothing there... then I realized, I'm not even logged into UA-cam, and thats why my feed has so many meaningless videos on it... I've never had/bought genever... It's been on my list, but not at the top... I only even saw it once at a store and chose not to buy it at that time... I'll probably wait until you do a genever episode and then I'll have to just get it... This weekend is going to be quite a bit of pumpkin and other combinations I'm not thrilled about, so I'll gladly add Son of Man to the list...
Being on UA-cam but not logged in is pretty trippy. You start wondering if your entire life was a lie. Ha! Well glad I can provide something to break up the pumpkin & friends this weekend. I’m gonna be making my Basic B!tch Martini’s myself. ‘Tis the season!
Hey man :) I gotta explore Cynar, beacuse I've never tried it. How about a video with Galliano cocktails (Autentico and/or Vanilla, I've got only Vanilla and I'm not sure if they are interchangeable) ? :)
I’ve got Galliano on my list of 3x cocktail videos to make. I would compare Gallo Vanilla to Licor 43 more than the L’orginale. That said, I’ll be doing a Licor 43 video at some point too, so you’ll be set either way. 😂 Cheers!
Vino, I’m going through a lot of your videos and want to make some of your cocktails. What would you say are your top 3 favorite cocktails of the Vino original cocktails that you’ve created and/modified?
Oh, this is a tough one. My seasonal cocktails tend to be my sweet spot. Most recently my “Harvest Nail” and “Autumn in NY” have been delicious. My “Cella’s Chocolate Covered Cherries” and my “Apple Cinnamon Whiskey Sour” are my most popular with guests. I’ve also got a couple of tiki cocktails I made that I love, the “Bon Temps” and the “Voodoo Mama”. Sooo, yeah, thats six, not three. My math ain’t so good. Ha! Cheers!
The Doft is right up Greg’s alley! He loves some antica. So defo that one for him. The frenchie sounds good to me. But I agree w/@JavierHernandez-fg8gy I love the artichoke hold. Lots of depth and classic vibes. So yum! But I do hv a bottle of Galliano, good use for that. Just gotta try em all & see who the winner is then! 🤷♀️

Nice, these will help me emty my bottle of Cynar.. Because I bought a new one. Good stuff.
Glad I could do my civil duty of getting folks to drink more Cynar. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
Sounds tasty! Cheers!
These have my pal, Andrew, written all over them. Cheers, my brother!
thanks for 3 Cynar cocktails. Need to try more cocktails with cynar. thanks and cheers
I tell whiskey lovers all the time, amaro is the perfect modifier for whiskey cocktails. Cheers, Doc!
Cynar FTW! Love that stuff. The Doff Your Hat was the very first cocktail I made when I got some Genever. I’m definitely making a Ce Soir!
My man, Rob! You best believe Cynar is the nectar of the gods. Can't get enough of the stuff. Cheers, pal.

I forget you’re a French speaker too. I’m gonna have to start passing some of these French names passed you for clarity before recording. 😅

@coachvinollc Totally right! 😜
