Thanks for the great review Barry. The bi-lume actually fades really quickly. Spot on about the crystal catching reflections. It’s hallmarked 9ct gold and only time will tell how much it patinas - if at all. Since being demagnetised I’ve been getting an accuracy on the wrist of about +0.5 seconds a day.
Great to here about the time keeping .5 is as good as it gets ,shame about the lume as it does look great and thanks agin for allowing me to review it 👍🏻
Ok. I’ve watched many of your reviews but this could be the nicest watch so far! Absolutely gorgeous. The steel makes the 300 a little sterile for me but in this bronze gold with dark brown bezel, I mean, just wow. It has a warmth and richness/opulence and maintains its classic vintage inspired design. Reminds me of the glasshutte seaq. Great movement too. Not bothered too much about AR when it looks this gorgeous. I love the strap gotta check out toshi Many thanks for this and the bloke who sent it in. Cracking piece. I want one
Beautiful watch, but after seeing one in person I think the dial could do with some white elements (minute markers?) to make it look slightly less flat.
Really good review - stunning watch. But yes the strap is a bit basic! I think the Seamaster 300 is great and I'm always surprised I see so few of them. It's a much more versatile watch than the modern Sub for most. I've got a Trilogy and love it - its the 'dress diver' in my diver collection (I'm a marine bio turned farmer!). As for the bronze gold - it looks great and lets face it, comes in at a cheaper price! Very cool if you wear gold and has real class to it. I know YTers and photographers always want more AR, but when it scratches and you have to polish it off...?!
Anyone noticed that the hour hand not correspond exactly with the right minute marker? When It is quarter past 10, the hour hand have to correspond exactly between the two minute markers.
It might just be the angles from which you were filming, but when the second hand is at 12, it appears the minute hand is missing the relevant minute marker???
I'm back... still wanting this. BUT i do not like that it only has a brown leather strap option. I like match my leathers and of course hardware...... This or a planet ocean for summer 2025???
@ Yeah! I’m looking to get the orange newer PO! Love the combo! And I love the thought of having the 300 heritage black, summer blue 300m and then the orange PO! 🍊

How exactly did you magnetize an Omega METAS movement?
This heritage version has always been my favourite seamaster . As it happened the Tudor bb58 scratch that itch, but, that's a lovely piece.
I've never really looked at the Seamaster range but I've always regretted selling my old 42mm orange planet ocean
One of my favorite omega
Me too John 👍🏻
Great review of a great watch Barry, thank you. LG Bob 🍻
Cheers Mr Bob :)

This is a very special model but not sure I'd like to spend 12K on one but there is no doubting its beautiful looks and solid movement 👍🏻

I think there going for a vintage look so if they fitted white minute makers it would ruin that feel Dominic , but I know what you mean

What did you think of the Toshi strap in the video ? I think it looks sooo good James
Mate, 100%! It looks excellent quality and fits the watch well.@@ClickSpringReview
A thing of bronzed beauty
I'd agree with you there matey

Thats because I didn't set it correct Sir
It might just be the angles from which you were filming, but when the second hand is at 12, it appears the minute hand is missing the relevant minute marker???
Its just the time wasn't set for the video Anton 👍🏻
Thanks Barry, I was a bit concerned for a moment!
Its only because for the videos I keep moving the hands to around the 11:20 position with out setting them correctly with the second hand at 12 matey
I would by this second hand! Not retail =D I have the black steel version.
Yeah I think used they go for around 8k ish
This is absolute class . Not enough anti reflective coating is no excuse at the price. Omega just lost many potential customers
Did you know Rolex only just started using AR in mid 2020 Steven
I'd buy it. Most expensive watch ever for me, though ...
Thats fair enough it is an expensive watch so I'd look at buying it used

My favourite planet which I sold many moons ago was the 42mm orange model , school boy error as I really miss it
@ Yeah! I’m looking to get the orange newer PO! Love the combo! And I love the thought of having the 300 heritage black, summer blue 300m and then the orange PO! 🍊
I'd say its still my favourite Omega
Back play on the bezel, over 14 mm thick for a simple three hand watch, bad strap? For HOW MUCH?
😂😂😂 ridiculous
I guess there is just no beating the Submariner no bezel back play, 13mm thick and the best bracelet of them all
