Rough Cata guide: There are 3 chests in the dungeon, and you need the Burdened by Riches debuff, which you can get from a Yellow Vandal near the chest, damage the vandal enough and it will drop 1. When opening the chest there will be a text notification in chat, but no update to the item. 1. After falling down, follow the path, up in metal structure before you turn right is where the 1st chest is. The vandal is up and to the right from the chest. 2. After the Barrel of Death, the Vandal will spawn, damage it and go through the vent onwards, as you exit head right, the chest will be there. 3. After the Fallen Shield encounter, on the roof of the building in the middle area the chest will spawn. The vandal will spawn on the Far Right platform, when looking from spawn. The launcher was aligned to the correct one when I did it, but might not be. Either way you can just search. When you get the debuff, just run to the centre, its a bit time sensitive. After that, its 400(?) Kills for Cata Completetion, I reccomend Shuro Chi

I went through the dungeon fresh with my friends, took about an hour and 45 minutes to figure everything out for ourselves. This dungeon is no joke, maybe it won’t be so difficult after a few runs. That sparrow section is total BS!
The Ghorn quest when Rise of Iron came out felt more heroic, grand in scale.... this dungeon feels tedious, I just hope some of my clanmates will do it with me so I can get it done but they're all mostly PST and i'm EST so I often miss out on clan stuff. Otherwise, guess I'll try to LFG when I get a chance.
What really pisses me off about this is that you were supposed to get ghorn with the expansion you paid for, not do some poxy dungeon to get it. We got a ghost, ship & sparrow with our purchase but no ghorn 🤬I’m a solo player & im desperate to have this weapon but unless it gets vaulted in the tower I’ll probably never see it 🥺

3:42 you don’t have to flip that switch at all... just hit the switch under the platform and head back out. Also at the final boss once you get him to spawn the camo vandal and sniper shank spawns out of the door directly in back of the engram (the one you walk towards to start encounter). My 1st run we had 2 Warlocks and a Hunter, I popped revenant at the door and one warlock did the bottom tree novabomb (he wanted to run devour) and the other did Well for damage buff! Revenant freezes them so you can do lots of damage in and destroy them before they fully come out the door.
Fun fact, you only need one person in your fireteam to open the first 2 chests. If you join up on a fireteam at the last chest and as long as you open the last chest, you will also get the catalyst.
This dungeon sucks, bungie always gotta make crap so complicated just for a weapon. Should have put gjallahorn as a reward from the new activity instead, at least single player guys can go for that.
You’re right it does, and that’s how I got it. However working, and then taking care of two children. I don’t have time to waste solo-Ing it, and I prefer chatting with friends when I have down time.
This dungeon was designed by Pete and Repeat. A perfect analogy for this season. Where is all the 30th anniversary nastagia? All show and no go. Didn't Bungie say they wanted the game all about the guns thats why they changed our abilities. They should have buffed our jumping abilities for this dungeon. Thanks for the great video Kakus! What are you rambling out about, There are a shit TON of new weapons. The new battle rifle and new Swords and new Trace rifle is sooooooooooooo good and GJallahorn and the new exotic side arm is REALLY nice. And there are shit ton of new movement perks , slug shotguns (Wastelander) and the list goes on. Have you even played the game.

I mean it’s not very difficult. I hopped in this with my buddy without any prior knowledge of how to do it and we 2 manned it figuring out how to do it as we went. It’s very doable

I'm a solo gamer who pre ordered the 30th anniversary add on just for the gjallarhorn but it appears that Bungie once again said hay loser give me those 30$ and fck off! That's fine, have them I won't be coming back for the witch queen. Destiny ain't the only game I like to play. Apparently that's what Bungie expects of you.
I get that destiny is “best with friends” but I like playing solo and can’t stand the thought of finding an actual cooperative team on lfg for this. The switches and jumping maze is just a grind and not a fun experience. I can’t see this having sustainable replayability

@@rob4538 I feel they got it backwards. G-horn should in the event and the Halo weapons should be in the dungeon. I bought the dang thing thinking I was going to get G-Horn and now I won’t even obtain it at all. So what did I pay for ???
