Great review with a fantastic Off road Test at 14:08 !! Also showing the seat position in the final thoughts was very helpful - Please keep going with that test scenario :-)
Thanks will do! I've kept with the same tests and style I have a few more far wheel ebikes coming up to review. Plus more city and foldable styles
@@Techtablets honestly i thought you typed 150 an hour LOL
Nice review I love the brake testing
Another master piece video Christopher , thank you much my friend , i have the same brakes brand on my samebike msm-26 that i purchased almost 2 years for 650€
Thanks for watching. They are okay brakes, better than I was expecting!
Great review and a great looking electric bike!
Thanks! 👍
@@Techtablets 2 seconds into the video and you are already fibbing. You say a very different looking ebike. It looks nearly identical to a quarter on the bikes on the market
I would love to see you test the Cannon Neuron ON6
Thx for the video
I love the bike, I’m really
Enjoying it
Great glad to hear that I love my time with it, such a fun bike and very good range!
Nice video quality. camera?
Hi, how wide is the handlebar? Thanks
I imagine it would be fairly simple to raise up the seat via wood block or metal box if needed. Pity they don't offer hydraulic self adjusting brakes, hate adjusting the manual ones and cost difference is minimal.
Yes you could do that or use washers or something but not ideal. As for the brakes yes hydraulic would be better around and it's not that much more expensive.
Adjusting/bleeding hydraulic brakes is far worse..
you can change the height of the seat by replacing the rear shock absorber by 7 cm you have to pay attention, hydraulic brakes cannot be mounted on the rear disc because the brake caliper has a different attachment than the front one, since the power supply to the engine also goes on that side, the brake disc is far away
Good tip.
Great review 👍
Do you recommend this or should I buy something similar? (EU)
I do it's a great ebike overall *IF* you want this style. Remember the fix seat position means you wont really be riding long distances.
Had one and returned it because its battery life is so good.
Returned it because the battery is so good?? 🤣 That's an odd reason to return an ebike.
@@Techtablets i can't stay fit with it. I relied on the power too much
@@jokjoan Yep, that's odd alright..
@@jokjoan I like to pedal constantly for fitness when I ride my e-bike. Efficient, comfortable, pedalling (that can be sustained for hours without knee or hip pain) really requires proper ergonomics for the seat's relationship to our pedals. Everybody has a different leg inseam length and an adjustable seat height is the easiest way to ergonomically deal with that reality. E-bikes with fixed seats really discourage pedalling just because the ergonomics can't be adjusted to suit the rider's body. Another important e-bike feature that supports & encourages pedalling is having a front chain ring size that minimises what's known as 'air pedalling' or 'ghost pedalling'. My e-bike has a relatively large 52 tooth front sprocket that allows me to provide pedalling input even at speed. Many e-bikes have relatively small front chain rings resulting in being unable to meaningfully pedal at even modest speeds. Some manufacturers of e-bikes recognise the benefit of equipping their bikes with larger front chain rings. For others the e-bikes can often be easily modified with a larger after-market chain ring to reduce the ghost pedalling.
Those features have nothing to do with battery capacity. Like I said I pedal constantly. My bike has a 30AH (1,440Wh) battery and I've experienced battery ranges up to 252.6 km (156.9 miles) on a single charge. I see the big battery as a tremendous asset. Not only can I ride a relatively long way without running out of juice, I need to recharge less frequently. Since batteries have limits on how many times they can be recharged, the bigger capacity will result in getting more years of service from the battery. Although larger battery capacities costs more up front, they will always have a lower life cycle cost overall.
@@jokjoan Oh you just need to use the power pedal assist levels then and keep fit?
Review the new Trek Rail 5 2023 - 625W now
That is not gravel those are rocks and stones...Most/some people could fabricate something for under the seat to raise it pretty easy..I would cut a piece of ply wood to the proper size, drill 4 holes in it and attach some memory foam and bolt it back together, might take half an hour and would add height and cushion, might have to get longer screws..But that is a twist the throttle and go kind of a bike...
The reviewer is gay he doesn't know any better.
Sheet metal three sided box, and you could put slots in it for forward back adjustment, and storage!
I own a ep2 pro and wouldn't trade it for m20. I see one disadvantage : no place for bag or water bottle . Thanks for the review .
there’s a place for water bottle on the side and you can get a back wheel bag kit
Hi Dear have any a link from the equelizer, for Dualbatteries install?
No, sorry. What I showed in this video it was very easy. Just remove the seat, plug in and screw the battery base in place.
Where available ? I am in Thailand . price ?
Nice swing arm
do a Samsung A54 review pls
I really like this bike the price is amazing especially with two batteries. They're not exactly cheap
Yes those batteries are not cheap.
lstead of two headlights they could have put indicators instead.
Shame it's not two x 1000W motors that would be great
This looks cool, and the price is not unreasonable. I'd see this as a moped, though, not an e-bike. Look at the seating position, it's only for emergency pedalling and maybe a bit pedalling along. Or what do you say?
Shxt I'm in Singapore, I could not get that permitted over the regulations here.
Yes more of a moped than bike. I did some pedaling on it but the seat is a little low for my height for any long periods. Mentioned about the 17 minute mark.
@@Techtablets Yes you did.
I was quite surprised it took you less than 50 km to drill to the core of it.
But I am not quite with you regarding hydraulic brakes in general. I do understand a younger, trained person such as you likes them better. They have a sharper, more defined pressure point. But the line from hard braking to overbraking is very thin with such brakes. You do not need to respond to me, I just wanted to say there is another view to it, so, just commenting. On my regular bicycle with V-brakes I can get both wheels locked with two fingers. And they are user-serviceable.
Sure it's it's all different for each rider, even if these aren't hydraulic they are very good. Nice bite decent braking performance. My point of reference is my Trek Rail 5's 203mm brakes which are very good. So for a cheaper ebike it's great and I under stand the cable pull disc brakes are easier to maintain. No leaks, less hassle etc. But at a certain price point some good hydraulic brakes make a big difference to the overall feel and braking performance generally speaking. Tire style and size is another factor yes.
There is actually a sticker on the bike that says don't take it downhill or any rough mtb because the fork / handle could break 😅
Avoid trying to do wheelies too!
They all put that disclaimer on them to avoid issues.
Какая дальность на одном заряде?
What’s the range using the accelerator only?
About 35-40km
Hello
.if i have 1.90m tall it s good to ride this bike?
A little cramped up, it's really for pedeling this style more riding it around like motorbike.
Do you think this can handle some mountain bike trails?
Only minor trails, it's seat position isn't really for the rough stuff or the size of wheel.
Love your channel! I’m working on my own channel, but in Spanish 😊 It’s called Invisible Tech. Where are you based? I’m spending the weekend in Malaga now
Oh cool! I'm in Denia Alicante.
@@Techtablets great place to live! Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Can you buy it without the pedals?
They are included but just install your own
puncture resistant tires?
Pretty much yes, the fat wheels are quite tough.
Is the seat comfortable?
It's okay yes the only thing is when pedaling as I pointed out not so much, it's more for using it like a motorcycle.
Hi I’m 5’2 what I’d be able to get on this bike thank you
It's going to be close, might be a but if a stretch for your legs.
For 1300eur with discount, I think they have cheaped out on many components a bit too much. Nevertheless great review as always!
Cheaped put a little on the drivetain, pedals and grips a little. But overall it's a fun biek for the price. I would love to see a dual motor version like the GOGO Best GF700 I reviewed. Now that was fast!
but look at that StrongBox it came in Undamaged lol
Do you think it's good for Uber delivery?
Depends on how many kms/miles you will do?
Put some air in those tires. Your range will increase and you’ll get a smoother ride
That's true, but I've done a lot of testing and reviewed now over 11 fat wheel ebikes. I prefer to run about 11-12 PSI for the roads here as it gives a nice balance in sponginess and ride. 15-16 PSI boosts the range but our roads are poor for that pressure, too bouncy and needs some give in the tire. By all means if you have good smooth roads more air will work.
I would get the Super73 ebikes instead
Can you restrict it to 15.5 mph
Yes you can set a speed limit
Merhaba. Bu bisiklet Türkiye İstanbul şehrine sipariş edilir mi? Yardımcı olur musunuz? Almak istiyorum.
very nice compliments .... pity that in my country is not legal ..
Germany?
Can a 6ft ‘5 ride this bike and I weigh 93?
Yes you can, ubt oyu will find the seat position is far too low for your hight, so more of a moped than a bike. Riding and pedaling will be very hard for your knees with the low seat position. .
Wow 11:54 don't hit that car bro you scare me
The GoPro makes things look a lot closer than they are. It was all good.
RIP knees when you have to pedal but no adjustment of any kind.. (edit. ok, noticed at 17min)
Yeah mentioned that's another trade off of a fixed seat height.
The way they just shoved that controller in there is pretty eye rolling.
Saving themselves $1
Yes I let them know it needs to be secured in there, but it seems they left it like that for the installation of the second battery which is optional. But they should have at least included cable ties to hold it in place. Such an easy fix should have been like it out of the factory.
Pretty much.
I see the controller says 20amps max. If it was 25amps, that would be perfect.
There is a fuse there I saw also inside.
How tall are you?
About 184cm
@@Techtablets is it very hard to drive on a straight road without using a motor?
Хорошый экземпляр.
Ok
don't make them hydraulic please, and also don't install the battery meters on the battery's them self, both are simply not needed they are just extra expense and extra work. However the usb port should be a standard across all brands.
Yes the USB port is handy, but hydraulic brakes? Why don't you like them if they leak?
@@Techtablets just seems like extra work and money when normal disk breaks work great.
If it was street legal where I live ... :(
I’m so pissed now I just bought their folding
Is it just me, or are others just as tired of viewing eBike reviews (not to mention vacuum cleaner reviews)? With great tablets like the Redmi Pad and Realme Pad hitting the market, isn’t it time to get back to the original reason for this channel’s existence? More tablet and phone reviews please!
Vacuum reviews 😂 I haven't done one in months. I have the new Teclast T50 tablet review I'm working on that's coming Realme and Xiaomi haven't sent me their tablets otherwise I would review it.
As for the ebikes I love biking myself and enjoy reviewing ebikes as I'm out of the office. Phones and tablets are quite boring nowadays...
Also more phone videos coming. The ebike and other stuff and the in between the phones content...
@@Techtablets My apologies Chris. I should have realised that you are at the mercy of your suppliers.
No, we don't have European street legal (EPAC). Declaration of
Conformity 25 km/h for M20. this is engwe's answer as to whether this bike is european street legal.
Bike:
ENGWE M20
750W 75KM+75KM 25KM/h Dual Suspension Long Range E-bike
750w isn't legal it has to be 250W at least here in Spain.
150km range more like 80km range why do they lie!
I have an ENGWE X26 pro this looks better
5 dollars that it will break down in under a year...
If this bike available in my country rather than ENGWE people gonna call it NGEWE That's literally mean "f*ck* 😂
Ah 🤣🤣😅
I'd rather a single 20 AH battery with a 1000w motor.
They also have that version with just the single battery.
@@Techtablets with a 20AH battery,or 13 AH battery?

1300 euros 😮
Impossible 150 km with this 2, batteries!!! . Maybe if you use it with 20_25km/h . With My 70Ah TRIPLE BATTERIE you can do more 150 km with no pedaling
Average speed 25km/h and maximum 35km/h
Yes no way I could do that as mentioned in the video.
🤣😅
What's funny!? 😅😅
Come on dude...kilometers and inches?? Ya tryin' to piss everyone off? Lol
🤣 well we normally still talk about wheel size in inches and frames in inches. But distance and everything else in kms. Blame New Zealand as that's what we do.
If you're in Spain this is illegal. Have you ever been stopped by the police?
No issues it's limited to 25km/h and they haven't pulled me over for doing 25 on an ebike here.
A friend bought this! had to throw in bin after 3 months rubbish 😡😡
Hasn't even been out for 3 month
13Ah will get you 11 miles max.
I wish they were more honest about the range.
No quite 11 miles, I get around 32 miles from 1 battery but yeah I wish we got the actual claimed ranges on all ebikes. There are only a few with the larger 700C / 28-inch wheels that have meet their claims I've review. The same goes for electric cars as they all based the max range of unrealistic test scenarios like no wind, a set temp, constant speed at 25mph etc
That seat is so ridiculous .. No way it's good 2 hours or more.
Not if you're tall it's more a moped style of bike. Not for long peddling sessions
Use them separately for more range together they die fast but separately they last longer. I'm not sure why but that's how mine work.
Will it good for delivery job?
@meherscringevideos6994 seats not that comfortable but you can put a rack on the back for a hot bag or box it would last all night. Average speeds 25 on throttle. Battery turn on and off separately. Good luck
Not so special, just take a look at the BREKR bike from the Netherlands
I will if they send me one to review. Right now I have the Comate Elite coming from a Dutch company.
Imagine if someone went in 1942 through time machine and showed it to hitler, and traded it to save jews
Interesting thought.
Little OVERPRICED for what your getting..imo
a higher class of bike like this and they can't spend 10 minutes and 10 dollars to get some cable management happening that just lazy
Yes. They really should have used cable ties for that controller...
Bad warranty
Have you had warranty issues? Please explain 🤔
@@Techtablets my friend. He got a new one and it broke very fast. They did not help
This M20 model? Other another of of theirs? Not good to hear that at all...
@@Techtablets another one
Way too low, better for kids.
Just got mine DO NOT BUY this bike is trash bike it terrible quality and came with battery mounted hanging off the side. No power very cheap quality. I have ridden plenty of other e bikes that were way better
The mount hanging off the side? Oh dear, no such issues with my unit but it is a review unit so maybe the hand picked a golden unit for me. Did you have my issue with the controller rattling about? Some cable ties fix it for me. That was my only issue with my unit.
Awful
Why?
@@TechtabletsWay too many KEYS 🔑And the seat height can't be adjusted so small or tall folk are not gonna be comfy.Good review mate, you did ya best with a bad lot 🤟🤠🙏🇬🇧
Chinese piece of junk…. Won’t last long and replacement parts will be impossible …..
Actually the controller and most of it is on Aliexpress, the rest standard bike parts the Shimano gears, pedals and tires etc. But sure hate on it jsut before it's Chinese crap, I might have done the same if I hadn't tested them out and they aren't as bad as you think. But let me guess you've never ridden a Chinese brand ebike. But you do know most are made in China right? Like everything...
dude the min u stop fast you will slide and neuter....yourself......what a horrible design.
No because you're holding onto the handle bars.
Cheap brakes, cheap gearset. Looks cheap overall. It's a pass from me.
Sure they cut corners on a lot of areas to keep the price down. Depends what you're after, im happy with my Trek Rail 5 as my main emtb. But these are still fun bikes.
Imagine if it had dual motors
It would be amazing then like the GF700 I reviewed. It has 1000w x 2 motors. And soon I'll have another dual motor ebike coming.
