Why link a fruity balance?
U can directly link the wet knob of valhalla reverb to the controller

I use reverb buses and if you do that in the bus, by reducing the wet knob you are basically making it sound dry, so you'll have 2 dry signals playing and definetly you don't want that

Not sure cause I don't use Ableton but I guess if you have the reverb in a send/bus, you can put a compressor and sidechain it with the midi of the dry signal
