I have seen tons of videos over the past year. They’ve left me feeling more anxious. Yours is the first that makes me feel ready to get this done. I have exposed brick in my living room and it was never sealed. I don’t see efflorescence but my eyes water and nose runs. I suspect mold is in the brick. Not bad mold but mold spores we have around us all the time. Im just more sensitive to them. This is the room that makes me the sickest. Thanks for this.
With post industrial spaces being less and less accessible as the years go on and no longer being built - these sort of spaces are going to become Complete real estate gold mines in the future if they aren’t already- Good Job Young man.
I just finished mine clean the wall with brush broom first then with wire brush. If possible with water pipe to remove excess dirt. After wall is dry spray with brick and render sealer chemical
@kangaroo Island yo does it have to be extremely clean? Or as long as you use a broom and water it down? How many days you wait till it got dried or you sealed it the same day? Thank you
Be aware that some of these sealants have toxic fumes and will require the wearing of a P3 rated respirator (minimum). Check the warnings on the container!
Umm The most important part of this whole thing would've been to know and see what you're using 🤯🤯🤯🤯 we don't need to watch you spray the wall. A baby knows how to do that
Great video. May be helpful to share final product (finished wall) and which products you used.

Did you brush/scrub the wall before applying the sealant? Thank you!
Thanks for posting. Did you do any prep to the brick wall before spraying?

Beautiful brick wall nice old character
This guy can pass for Eddie Murphy's brother. BTW great video!
How did you prep the wall before sealing?
That's what I was wondering.
Is it breathable?
im confused , it will , or will not remain wet. I thought he said it will remain wet. so.. then you wont be able to get near it ?
dear sir,
what is the mix ratio for 1 litre of silane/siloxane
Does it seal up cracks in the bricks.
Can you paint and seal at the same time?
What products are you using to make it shine like that
Is it solvent or water based polish
Bro I needed this but my question is are you suppose to clean the wall or you can just go on and just start spraying?

Where did you get those stairs?
I plan to clean and coat the exposed brick chimney in my attic. What is the name of the clear coat you are using? Thank you.
Informative video. Thank you. What sealer product did you use?
Behr Sealer you can buy at Home Depot.
Great video.
Is there a sealant that keeps the brink a normal sheen not glossy
Is it Behr Wet Look sealer that you used to achieve this result?
Yes it is
What's the point if you're not going to share what product you used??
Does he call it 'Wet Lock Sealer" near the beginning? Or "Wet Look Sealer".
He said Wet Lock lol
What’s the product called that you used for the spray?!?
Behr Sealer
How much do charge to expose a brick wall and seal it?
Can't give away our trade secrets lol
That answer is relative to how big the wall is.
Oh my God!... @Bossed Up Man, you should say I charge that per m2... But I assume you are just helper worker in this case - Brick Walls etc..
no one knows it renders waterproof result until it is tested.
Are you using prosoco siloxane pd water repellent
That's nice but I prefer the Dry look.
Thx due!
Where I can buy the sprayer? What is the name of it?
Home depot sells those for ten bucks, its a basic 1gal hdx
Cool
Cute 🥰
Baie oulike video. Dankie
Does this method make the wall waterproof? I have a leak somewhere in my wall when it rains.
Water resistant. I wouldn’t say proof because it would depend how much water is coming through.
Making the bricks waterproof does stop your leak. The water will find another way in. You need to find where the water is coming from and fix it.
He said "Wet Lock sealer"
See the product info BLACK DIAMOND SEALER just under his video.
What's the product?
I might suggest is vinyl or acrylic primer used as sealant. What do you make it?

I think its flax oil
Start from the bottom and work your way up , that's the proper way bud. Do it in 8 inch incrimants.
Why?
@@jakajancar1767 be at that's the proper way that's why
@@jamiewatkinson4123 Not sure. Looks to me like from the top might be the proper way.
@@jakajancar1767 no bud bottom to top, I own a union masonry restoration waterproofing Company,,, take my word for it
@@jamiewatkinson4123 Ah, makes sense. If you own a shop, and it's unionized, then for sure. Upwards and in 8in it is!
WET LOCK SEALER?

Less time then that with a battery sprayer
Product
go at a speed of having a 6-inch run not much more and not much less thats your speed
This should be done bottom to top . Just saying ..!
Mask dude.... always wear a mask when spraying.
what a waste of time.
