I wish you've put the whole assembling process because it's so confusing :(

I cannot for the life of me, figure out how to put all of the 5-piece units together. The video just says "continue with the regular Kusudama assembly" but I haven't made one before. Please help :(
Edit: After some trial and error I figured it out!

Hi! Let me try to help you. I don't know how much experience you have with kusudama assembly. My first advice would be, don't assemble every 5 units together. Kusudama need to be built continuously. You assemble your first 5 units, as shown in the video. Then you continue by connecting two of the existing units together with a new one. Slide the one side of the unit into one of the existing units (unconnected) and the other side in the existing unit next to it (from the other side). This will have formed the 3 unit peak that I talk about in my article on my website.
THIS WAY: Now you can either continue assembling the next star (which will already have some units there 2 existing one's from one side and 1 existing one from the other side. You will place another 2 units in between to form the next star.)
OR THAT WAY: You continue all around to form all 3 units peaks all around the shape, which will be 5 peaks all other. You will have used 5 units all together to assemble all those 3 unit peaks. And then you continue forming stars, which will already have some units there (sticking out), you just have to fill in the units to make up a 5 unit star.
You decide which way seems easier. Just remember, all stars are made up of 5 units (each time count, also while looking back) and each peak is made up of 3 units.
I hope that helps. Please let me know if you manage it that way. If not, I will figure something else out. I will guide you until you can finish it. :)

Hi Ameya, maybe your paper is smoother than the one I used. In any case, don't give up yet. I suggest you use little craft clothespins (or even paper clips) to hold together the units as you attach them. In the case of the Tributary Kusudama, this is no problem at all, as you can place them on the outside (in other models that is not always the case) - and remove them once your whole ball is assembled. I hope this will solve your problem. :)
