Loved it! You really don't need the bed (background music) for two reasons: 1. The singing makes it WAY harder to pick out your voice. 2. I only ever hear beds used for stuff that would be boring otherwise... But this review is really good! You're borderline devaluing yourself by putting the bed on... ;-)

To make things easier I stick to Philips TVs, the signe I will order separately. This looks amazing and I got all my living room lightbulbs from hue and you can create really good lightshows :D.
i just got the table lamp and maybe it’s bc my first philips hue product but i’m sold!! thinking about getting the floor lamp next but have been deciding whether to move to the govoo ecosystem which is much cheaper since i plan on getting multiple
Hi, if you're planning to get multiple I would definitely go with the Govee. I have one Govee floor lamp and one Philips Hue. If I was to get more lamps, I'd pick the Govee. The remote you get with the Govee makes the lamp usable for people who don't want to download the Govee app.
@@ManchesterTechGuy thank you! i’ll definitely check out more govee products when i move in a few months. they have a good dupe for the signe floor lamp but not table lamp (yet)
I'm honestly not sure as I don't use Spotify. I did test it out originally, but I can't remember. I'm on holiday at the moment. I'll check for you when I get back
Thanks David. That is acoustic panelling from a company called "Too Wood Veneer Hub" based in the UK. I spent far too much on them, but they do look good. In hindsight I could have made my own for much cheaper
Hello buddy. I got signe floor lamp but not gradient, is it worth buying the phillips hue or not? I want it to connect to my smart tv but it wont let me do it. Thanks buddy
@@dorukcansev I think if you point this at a wall, it should look better than traditional RGB lighting. I don't use a key light for anything so I don't have one on hand to test for you unfortunately.

My Hue White and Colour ambiance bulb supports HomeKit adaptive lighting. All Hue bulbs definitely support HomeKit as long as you are using the v2 of the bridge.
So wait, the gradient signe lamps do work with the sync box? As it’s not labelled as hue “play” I made the assumption it doesn’t work with syncing the lights with the hue sync box?
Yep, it does indeed work with the sync box. You might need to see if there is a firmware update in the software menu, but other than that there's no issue.
Bought one of these. Arrived and would not turn on. A Reddit post showed a unit that was delivered to a user the same day and he opened the unit up and found the power wire not attached to the PCB. Opened my unit up - because they would not verify I would receive another if I sent it back for warranty - and sure enough - red power wire was not connected.
That's pretty shocking Richard. Wonder if it was a bad batch since someone else received a faulty unit on the same day. They should really give you a working unit if you receive a faulty one and take the old one back, no questions asked. Is it fully functioning now?
Same here. Plugged it in and absolutely nothing. Could’ve gone to Walmart and bought 10 lamps that do actually work for the price of this one. Not happy!
Haha, I do have the Govee lyra too, don't worry. This is super expensive, but it works well with all of my other Hue lights. I'm open to other options too. Thanks for the comment

yes, until this year, 2023 Philips TVs can't sync with hue, only Tv's ambilight

@@CRCC830 Yeah, I'm hoping they release a table lamp competitor too. I use the Govee lamp in my home office
Another amazing video, very helpful 👊🏾
Nice one bro!!!
which hue combination is the best price for value with tv sync?
65 inch tv, wallmounted closely
Hi, the Hue Play Gradient Light Strip and then a single Ambiance Light Strip to cover the bottom. You'll also need the Hue Sync Box and the Hue Bridge
Can it be controlled via the hue dimmer switch remote? I mean just to turn on and off and dimm the white light. Is it possible?
It is, yeah. The only caveat is that the light has to be part of a room and the switch controls the room (including any other lights)
Do you need the Sync box to.sync with Spotify ?
I'm honestly not sure as I don't use Spotify. I did test it out originally, but I can't remember. I'm on holiday at the moment. I'll check for you when I get back
@@ManchesterTechGuy thx. Enjoy your holiday.
No, you don’t. It works without it. It’s only needed for TV or videogames syncing.

Hey, if you want the light to sync with your TV you'll need the gradient signed lamp and also the sync box, if you don't have it already
@@ManchesterTechGuy cheers buddy. I dont have any of these. What els would i be able to do if i only get Phillips hue for my signe floor lamp?
@@abbthedab1831 You can control it with the App and set automations for it e.g. turning it on at sunrise, turn it off and more
Would I still get a good effect with the key light on?
Key light for recording do you mean, with this as a background light?
@@ManchesterTechGuy Exactly. The issue with my current setup is that the key light is killing the RGB effect. Any suggesions are much appreciated

@@larskjr7439 Yeah, from the Philips hue website. I was checking it a lot and I had email alerts setup

@@larskjr7439 Thank you. It's 77 inches
Is the section holding the LEDs on the Signe gradient floor lamp made out of plastic or metal?
It's plastic, but very sturdy. Probably should have been metal given the price tag
Thanks for the review! I wonder if Signe lamp supports HomeKit and Apple's Adaptive Lighting
You're welcome. Not sure as I'm an Android guy and I don't have any Apple devices to check.
My Hue White and Colour ambiance bulb supports HomeKit adaptive lighting.

They do have homekit and adaptive lighting support.
Is it coming already like this or how is it packed?
It is already assembled. It's one solid piece
If I have a sync box
Can I use on the bottom of the tv and have it work at the same time ?
Hi Josue, do you mean as a horizontal light?
You should use a gradient light strip ambiance, or the upcoming hue light tube for a horizontal light under your TV, or multiple play bars.
@@GreeniusGenius I'm currently using 3 play bars, but planning on replacing them with a light strip ambience. Thanks for watching and commenting.
How many inches in height is this new light?
Hi Peter, it's 57.5 inches tall
