Everything you make Holly turns out beautifully! I love your channel so much. You are a very good teacher! The lantern makeover was amazing! I’m 71 years old, so I had the original farm house look you were talking about. Ducks and geese everywhere! I love how the wreath turned out. I think the neutral ribbon was a good choice. You could change it up seasonally by just clipping different bows to the burlap ribbon or even a single flower. Being from Kansas, I always think of sunflowers. Thank you so much for your great ideas!

I just love all the projects you do! Helpful hint ~ use less Mod Podge under print and you will get a lot less wrinkles. Everyone thinks more is better and it's actually the opposite when it comes to this
Glad to hear somebody else say this. I learned it the hard way. I had always seen videos stating " apply a nice, thick coat." But after doing that, i realized a thin coat, as thin as possible, works way better. And depending what im working on, sometimes i like wrinkles to sand and create a distressed look. So when i want that, ill apply a thicker coat of decoupage medium. Also , afterwards, i only apply extra around edges unless it is absolutely necessary.
All these thrift flips are awesome. The flower pictures are my favorite. I like the wreath with the blessed on it the best. I love red so I would choose the red ribbon for me.

I learned so much from this video. Thank you. I like your lambs ear with the Blessed sign. I would have centered the wreath in the frame. Your great idea with sponging the fake candle was genius. The only thing I didn't care for was the framed flowers. I felt the distressed frame and the distressed mat were too much. I would try something different with the mat. Like an aged parchment look maybe. I don't know. I am saving this video for sure. Love how you show ooops and how you landed on your feet. Lol

I love the lantern It came out so good
For mod podge I rinse right away. I use my sink sprayer as well as an old sponge with Dawn dish liquid. I have great luck with getting paint, mod podge and top coats like varnish etc. out without problem! Good luck!

Burlap with the Blessed sign! I’m doing a huge wreath with the wrapped wreath with eucalyptus around it and a blessed sign in the middle on a mirror that I have in my den!
Holly I want to comment before I start watching the video. I know I’m going to enjoy it I always love your DIY’s. But I really love it when you do other styles than Farmhouse. I’m so glad that you’re doing Cottagecore. I personally am tired of strictly doing Farmhouse and so enjoy it when you do other styles. I’m selling my crafts and the people around here like other styles and so do I like shabby chic, French Farmhouse, vintage…. Thank you so much for sharing with us!! 😘💕

Love, love , love your crafts! I look forward to each and every video. Such beautiful and fun crafts - and I love all the helpful hints you share as well! In regards to the mod podge brush cleaning...I have a glass mason jar that I use - I fill 1/3 with warm water, add a drop or two of dawn dish soap, fill the rest with warm water until bubbles reach the top and when I'm done with using a brush (chalk paint, acrylic paint or mod podge coated) I just put it in the the mason jar, swish it around for a minute and then leave it in there to soak until I'm done with all my projects for the day. I only use cheap brushes and I've had the jar filled with paint and foam brushes and sit all day in the water until I'm ready to clean them (and the jar) before I go to bed each night. Has worked out well for me so far and I've been doing it like that for about a year now. I haven't had to replace any of the brushes yet, all are still in good condition. I do make a habit of cleaning all my brushes before bed each night though so I haven't let them sit and soak for more than a day. I hope that helps!

Holly these are beautiful! I love the rustic look too! For your brushes! Get a good charcoal bar soap and scrub your brushes with them in warm water! Not cold & not hot! Warm! Your mod Podge will wash right out! Happy Easter! 🐣

I clean all my brushes with a little dawn dish soap & water. It works for me. I soak for a little while but not over night then swish the bristles with my fingers then rinse thoroughly.
