@@Antonius_911 Generally I think the flight controls are much smoother in the classic PS1 games. I had more trouble perfecting these compared to my first time playing the originals.

@@jackg6284 I got it after a few tries. You need to be very focused. You have to drag right as you're going through the ring in order to not miss the next ring on the right side and the rest is easy. I platinumed all three games back in early January but I agree with the difficulty at times for a game targeted at kids mostly.
I managed to get a 1:07 with this route. A few things. The ground based Snowmobiles, Dancers and "sometimes" the seadragons have mega janky hitboxes. And if you hold the left stick about 40% to the right you can usually make that first gate without a bonk.
Got 1:04, but before that I cursed the developers to seven levels of hell. If the controls were just a little bit better, this wouldn't be as painful. God damn... And fuck that orb. I guess they just let the cleaning lady handle the controls and she had precisely 15 minutes to test out if they work. What were they thinking?
@@mek0626 yeah I hate the flight levels so I usually just look up them up on UA-cam to see the best pattern to go in. But this orb challenge was definitely unforgiving.

the orb challenge involving the rings left such a bad taste in my mouth. toys for bob should probably not look to superman 64 for inspiration; they really done goofed.
After strugglig a lot with the orb challenge, I finally figured out a strategy that ulatimtley worked after 3 or so attempts: rather than holding down left or right to get in posittion , rapidly tap the left or right on the d-pad/directional buttions and Spyro will gradualy move to where he's meant to be in position for the next ring. It's still quite tricky but so much easier to do when you figure this out.
I dont know who propagated that Spyro is a kid's game. IT IS NOT! The puzzles are too complicated for the mind of say a 7-8 year old. If by kids, they mean 15 or older than I guess. I mean the fact we're all here trying to figure out how to beat a level tells you everything you need to know. lmao
This pattern of this level is easy to figure out once you got it all in your head. But for the life of me I wasn't able to find Hunter until after watching this video. Finding Hunter is ridiculous in this level.

Dude I've beaten sekiro, dark souls 1 and 3, Cuphead, and a ton of other games and I still struggle with the harder parts of the game. What's easy to some, might be hard for others, quit acting like you're a god gamer just cause Spyro doesn't challenge you.
@@bluespark01 and there's no need for you to speak down on people that find this challenging. But you did. And there's obviously lots of factors, the inverted flight controls can be confusing for some, some might not have super precise movement with analog sticks, or even finding a path that lets you get them all in one go. On top of that there's the orb challenges which can be well hidden, and even when you find them they can be simple or for the icy speedway, kinda difficult. I'll give people that its hard at first, I had trouble on these parts too as a kid but even as a kid without internet in the late 90s I still got everything in all three games.
