For a long time I just assumed this was the official music video because it's so well done and it fits the E6 style. The clip from Thriller at "My king of the nation" is particularly great.
This video is amazingly well done, I love the choice of clips on the solo and the part with Ben Stiller and "can you feel it?" from Ace Ventura! The timing is perfect.
It is about the emptiness of American culture, "this conversation is just a time killer", 50 dead actresses, I am making my living on American cheese, I cant see the forest through the trees, I'm making my living on American cheese even though gouda or cheddar is better. etc... I didn't hear all the lyrics
Spot the mistake in the video! ......al clips are from American movies and TV shows with the exception of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (1:20 and 1:25) which is actually Italian.
Yakko Warner He won't say actually. He has said he is American and he may be, or maybe not. But I think he definitely has some kind of French accent. His name is French.
Weird.....I made a video for Countdown to the Countdown and it had clips of Tom Green and Chris Farley as well! you posted yours first but I swear I hadn't seen it before I made mine. Your video is much better though....it must have taken you days :)
@blaow7 It's good but I really don't see why everyone is creaming so much over it... because they did the exact same thing on 'Waste Of Time And Money' on KILL.
This song is MOST DEFNITELY about the shallowness and emptiness of American celebrities. Listen to the very first verse: "I wanna know what the man on the street thinks." "A security parameter with Venetian's blinds"
Mate i am also christian but preaching on youtube is a waste of time. The day E6 makes music that makes sense is the day you can preach all you want. I am here to listen to music not discuss the church.
IDK man, High Voltage is about sparks flying when you're getting it on. And Escape From Ohio sounds suspiciously like a guy who doesn't want to go to Ohio cause he was hurt there. You can scrabble words together, and make very concise messages, but the odds are against that. I do think most of the songs are nonsense. Like 85%. More than two have any meaning whatsoever, though. If I was in that band, and most of my songs were nonsense, I'd exaggerate, and say that all of them were, too.
It's not about anything. Dick Valentine said in an interview that they've only ever written two songs that were about anything, "Steal Your Bones" is about cloning and "Gay Bar Part 2" is about, well, Gay Bar. Most E6 songs are nonsense sentences scrabbled together around a topic idea.
get it right. Cheddar (or more accurately Che-Daurgh) is most probably an innovation of the Azkex the south american pants people. It was appropriated by the english in 1986. www.cheesefauxfacts.com
explosiv0 That's the whole point. He didn't say cheddar is American. he said gouda or cheddar would be better (than American). Cheddar is English, Gouda is Dutch, Mozzarella is Italian.
I’ve spoken to Mr. Valentine and he is truly a fan of this work.
Dick Valentine is a genius.

Ha thanks! I really enjoyed editing these clips together. Be sure to check out some of my newer vids - a bit different though!
This is the best unofficial video ever!!
I don't know if this is an official video, but it's some of the best editing I've ever seen.
Fantastic editing. A worthy companion to Spray/Ricardo Autobahn's classic "Golden Age Of Video".
This video is amazingly well done, I love the choice of clips on the solo and the part with Ben Stiller and "can you feel it?" from Ace Ventura! The timing is perfect.
Nicely done. This song never gets old.
Ha, all my my favorite movies and you even snuck The Room in there. Love it!
This is definitely one of my favorite E6 songs.
What a great video omg. Goes perfectly with every word

This is a very good video, sir! I love how well you placed certain clips... Ron in his glass box of emotion seems to fit very well.
Heh, The Room clip XD
My God this is beautiful!
Great band, even greater music. Electric Six is one of my influences for making music. Would love to tour with guys some day...
This really is amazing. From the epic & best Electric Six album to date "Zodiac". Get it.
Awesome work, Awesome band.
Awesome.
Great video, all classic movies. Props for E6
0:51 The Room. YOU ARE TEARING ME APART LISA!!!
official or fanmade....one of my fav E6 music videos ever...thanks.
Awesome, the song is great and works so well with all the movie clips :D
looooove the outro
@CodyT3212 haha yeah I saw that, pretty crazy but I think Chris Farley in particular is very E6-ish
this song is great!!
Great song, great video!
Good video man and class tune
Great video man.
@mamtrol Anchorman. One of my favorites.
brilliant video mate well done
This one tenet agent came up to my door and tried to open the door. Idk what they were thinking. They already invade every moment.
The squirrel on skis stole the show.
2:23 This conversation just a time killer.
Thank you for this video
The movie with the pitch fork is anchorman..an amazing movie.
God damn you make good music videos.
Keep up the good work
Spot the mistake in the video!

Professicchio Isn't Tommy Wiseau from like Sweden or something?
Yakko Warner
He's from Europe for sure but I've only seen him working in American-made stuff (his own usually).
Yakko Warner He won't say actually. He has said he is American and he may be, or maybe not. But I think he definitely has some kind of French accent. His name is French.
New rumors say Tommy may be Polish. He doesn't look polish at all, but his language quirks would match.
very impressive....
MJ FOX rocks it hard!!
the outro is fucking amazing.
Anchorman an amazing movie
lol tom green
The hangover - If you aven't seen you deffo need to!! 2nd ones really gurd too!! =D x
Weird.....I made a video for Countdown to the Countdown and it had clips of Tom Green and Chris Farley as well! you posted yours first but I swear I hadn't seen it before I made mine. Your video is much better though....it must have taken you days :)
@themusicgamer14 Yeah. Pretty sure that's the one.
This is fucking sick. More Beetlejuice would have been cool but I respect your creative choices. Nice Work!!!
So this was the cause of the attack
OMG The ROOM!!!
"WHAT KIND OF DRUGS DO YOU TAKE!!!"
Classic!
was that The Room at 0:52? XD
Dick Valentine is a genius.
perfect
I was on UA-cam one day, and Mr Valentine came and wrote this comment. Then he looked me in the eye and said "Everyone will believe you."
Oh Hai Denny!
hell yes
@campex Oh Hai Campex, I did not see you there.
Tommy won't tell anyone where he's from, so i guess we've adopted him.
Thanks.
anyone else read the date it was uploaded?
@420emokid100 Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Oh hai mark
can anyone tell me how this riff 0:00 - 0:13 is called? I heard it elsewhere too...
Is one of the jokes how many Canadians are in the video?
@occupied1111 i thought this was a fan made music video?
@blaow7 It's good but I really don't see why everyone is creaming so much over it... because they did the exact same thing on 'Waste Of Time And Money' on KILL.
Dick Valentine, please remake In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins ;-;
@scyduckzard2007 im removing my comment,. the whole thing was gold.
Sometime i dream about cheese
@WillyTheHurricane what does it win? what?
I know it could be better, with gouda or cheddar! But I like my guns with 101 slices of American cheese product.
They sell his music at Kmart
Anyone know what movie/tv show the clip at 3:13 is from?
Intro sounds a lot like Morphine's 'Honey White'.
I'm not 100% certain, but I think it was Anchorman: the Legend of Ron Burgundy.
I've always wanted to skewer a man on horseback with a trident. I think every man can relate to that.
Off with your head.....off off off. Off youre head
They (E6) dont make videos any more and Hugh Hefner couldnt afford to pay for a video like this gees.
I really enjoy this song, especially the guitar and the trumpet! But I'd prefer it if the outro has a punchier ending.
This song is MOST DEFNITELY about the shallowness and emptiness of American celebrities. Listen to the very first verse:
"I wanna know what the man on the street thinks."
"A security parameter with Venetian's blinds"
64 slices of American cheese.
Hangover 1 or 2 ^^
Mate i am also christian but preaching on youtube is a waste of time. The day E6 makes music that makes sense is the day you can preach all you want. I am here to listen to music not discuss the church.
Haha. I love this Lisa but I did not hit you!
what is cartoon?
The video couldn't fit better.
Let's go back to the start. 2:22
2024
0:17
Inglorious Bastards?
Not to mention Gay Bar is very important to him, it pays his mortgage.
i love 1:40 O.o
Maybe we don't actually read between the lines. These songs could mean anything. WOOPWOOPWOOPWOOPWOOP
actually gay bar is about the us government as far as i know :D

The more I hear this band, the more I would probly turn gay to make a "high voltage" video with them
I dance like butthead...
0:51 - 0:52 haha that scene is funny, haaaah,
by the way how is your sex life?
This story is depressing, and it's gonna get worse.
If marty was a woman, it'd be "BACK TO THE KITCHEN"
Cheddar is an English cheese so please rewrite the entire lyrics of this song.
I think he didn't refer Cheddar or Gouda to being an American cheese.. he said "I know it'd be better with Gouda or Cheddar"
get it right. Cheddar (or more accurately Che-Daurgh) is most probably an innovation of the Azkex the south american pants people. It was appropriated by the english in 1986.

@occupied1111 go away!
