I loved Ester because she understood Ben better than either Julie or Kai ever could, being part human and part alien herself, she understood that Ben has duties to the world and even the universe that can keep him away, and the same goes for her since she's chief of her tribe, meanwhile Julie has... tennis, and it kinda feels like at times she views that as more important than Ben's world saving duties.
Does Ester participate in the season finales? No. Was Ester an emotional support for Ben? No, even Ben didn't even want to talk to her in her last appearance. Did we learn anything new about her after her debut, why is she half human? NOTHING.
She was a useless character.

Ester was Ben's best and consistent relationship in the whole series, they had great chemistry together so it was disappointing the writers had to break them up so he can get together with Kai, who prefer his Alien Wolf form over him in Classic to being overall rude to him in Omniverse.
His relationship with Julie was solid but after getting together, their inconsistent characterizations did a number on that, so much they had them break up "offscreen."
I feel that Ben only want Ester as a friend, or never understand her.

Make it the writers' fault for forgetting Julie exists in much of UAF, making Ben's character ambiguous so they can make him relearn things he learnt in classic at any time and trying to force the Kevin retcon in OV
Ben's got mad game, but the writers seemed to not know how to make it work effectively, seemingly spending it all on Gwevin (it's a great ship, NGL).
That's what happens when you hire interns instead of professional writers for your show, obviously.

It Kind Of Makes You Question Why Ester Even Existed In the First Place If They Were Just Gonna Make Ben End Up With Kai Anyway
Kai is just really shitty disappointing outcome 😕. She is not likable at all. Even as kid. She was not likable.

I really think that the direction of each season of omniverse, was lead by totally diferent people
I think Kai had potential that just wasn't properly utilized. Like Ben she's the grandchild of a Plumber, but doesn't have powers like Ben or Gwen do. It could have been an interesting dynamic, but they didn't really explore it properly. It felt like they tried to do a "will they/won't they" thing despite us being told that it is their future anyways. Had they just had them get together earlier it would have allowed them to actually show their relationship and not just tell us it's something that will happen.
The problem is that even in the episode Benwolf she never feel love for Ben.

Our Ben would have been his own Ben 10K eventually which is different from previous versions of Ben 10K we saw so I find it hard to believe everyone of them has Kai as their wives😂

Jump 6 years later, when she returned, she's butchered. They make he so entitled and combative for no reason, it's like they turned her argument with her gramps into her personality. Despite her being close to her gramps. She just wasn't the same character.

She said that 6 years ago. I can’t even count all the people I know who changed dramatically as people in that time or less. So if you wanna rip modern Kai apart, fine I don’t even care. I just watched the show & enjoyed it such as it was. But just stop defining one particular character by one particular mistake they made once upon a time; you could do that to Ben or Kevin a hundred times over.
If Eunice appeared more she would be number 1 on my ranking
Eunice was great. In the short amount of time we saw her. Great chemistry , super sweet , better looking than all ben girls imo and just overall caring. If you put aside the fact she was a literal device , I think she was one of the best if not the best. Also it would have been funny if ben married/dated a litreral omnitrix😂

used to be a julien fan. could not believe for a second that they would break em off. if eunice wasnt a machine id root for eunicen, but ester looks nice too ngl. not the first time we saw human alien marriage, just remember that episode with the purple sludges back in the og ben 10.
Ben's love life was mess (Escically in Omniverse). Ben and his love interests (Julie, Ester) deserve better from the writers

Not enough credit to Julie here. She was perfectly understanding of Ben having to ditch stuff to be a hero. It wasn't until he revealed he also ditched to go watch a movie that she got mad. Which, you know, fair. That's a dick move. She also kept Ben grounded in his human life. The other girls were mainly part of his hero life, not his regular one.
My best to worst:
1. The Omnitrix
2.The Ultimatrix
3. The Biomnitirix (I still can't believe that they were able to get polygamy past the censors.)
Ok real list:
1. Estar
2. Julie (It always felt like they were originally going to do more with her but they didn't have enough time or something like that)
3. Eunice (There was so much they could have done with her but didn't.)
4. Elena (You can tell the writers really didn't want to do a episode that tied into the alien swarm movie.)
5. Looma (Meh)
6. Jennifer Nocturne ( Meh)
7. Kai (The whole point of her character was to show how not everyone will like you for who you really are, so having her get with Ben just make it seem like the writers didn't even watch their own show.)
8. Attea (Can we stop trying to ship heroes with genocidal dictators? This goes for all franchises not just Ben 10.)

Literally every girl was a better pick than Kai, i didnt mind her in the original series, but i nothing short of hated her in omniverse.

I'm deeply disappointed the way they ended his relationship with Julie and Ester, and they should have progressed his relationship with Eunice. She's deffo the sweetest girl in the franchise

Elena should be above Jennifer Nocturne. With neither of the two were romantically involved with Ben, Elena had a more realistic chance at being his girlfriend. Jennifer & Ben are a Hollywood couple at best and while a real relationship could form from that, I think Ben & Elena would last longer due to them know each other for years and both being involved with The Plumbers which would mean more time for them to spend together.
Elena was very obsessed with Ben.
Julie was best and since the first appearance of kai she became the worst for eternity
My favourite girlfriends for Ben is Ester or Eunice, I know people have problems with Eunice because the hole she might be related to Gwen. And even though OV writers state she’s related to Ben, UAF crew worked on Eunice first and stated that she is not related to Ben or Gwen and is own being. Like I wouldn’t say that Kick’n hawk is related to Liam or Frankenstrike is related to Dr Victor. So I believe the UAF writing style of Eunice then OV. And I wished she appeared more.
I agreed. Eunice should've been helpful on helping Ben learning about the Omnitrix more. Know the functions, what he should and shouldn't do, and understand his full potential.
I honestly prefer that Ben and Julie broke up by Omniverse because even before alien force season 3 they both seem to not enjoy spending time together at all

Something told me ester would win. Imo they're obviously the best couple. Like you said, they have chemistry and she would have been pretty perfect for him(I mean, maybe apart from that one episode where they're going on a movie double date and ben pretty much ignores her advances because he's too focused on the movie) had it not been for kai being shoved in.

It's sad that in Ultimate Alien, the episodes "Inspector #13", "Hero Time" and "Fame" are the only times we see Ben and Julie not fighting, and being a couple.
I don't really like Kai at first (since the idea that Ben would break up with Julie after all they've been through is just stupid), however after giving the Omniverse a try, I think they make a pretty cute couple. Ben fighting Kai reminds me so much of Ben with his sidekick Gwen in the old days (without being...weird of course LOL)

She only saw him as a "pet" to "tame". What you on, also there's a difference between Gwen and Kai. Gwen did bicker and fight with Ben a lot but it's shown she actually cares about him and views him as family nevertheless, even nearly dying to save him multiple times. Besides, which cousins and siblings don't prank and mock eachother, that's practically how they show love! Meanwhile Kai just fights with him all the time for no reason and only cared about his alien werewolf form and that ONLY. Which to us, that's shown as "an old married couple bickering" vibe, and it's obvious the writers tried to go for that, but failed terribly to use the idea. Whatever the writers wanted us to believe, it didn't work. And another thing, it generally annoys me how the writers are practically shoving down our throats the fact that Ben is SUPPOSED to marry Kai, because she did in the classic, but that's not how time works in Ben 10. The future is based on the current scenarios happening WHILE were watching the show. Take Kevin for example, when we were watching the Ben 10 classic, Alien Force hadn't happened yet and Kevin's older form was evil which wouldn't make sense IF we consider the events of Alien Force, but then the Kevin we knew while watching was evil, and the future was based of of THAT. Only the current events were considered to "design" the future, not anything else past that. And at the current time, Ben only had Kai as a love interest because he'd only had a crush on her, his teenage years with Julie etc hadn't happened yet because that was THE CURRENT, which made the universe automatically set out a future with Ben marrying Kai. And it's possible that while Ben was dating Julie, in the future he was married to her and had kids with her, because that was THE CURRENT. And that drastically changed when he had new gf's and new things happened, and in theory all those universes where different things happened still continued to exist but separately, and Spanner specifically happened to go back to the universe that was THE CURRENT one that everything else was based off of. And managed to make the universe where Kai married Ben THE CURRENT one where things on would be based off of, so it wasn't "fate" rather it was Spanner forcing his future on the current universe. Hopefully someone understands what I'm trying to say because this took a hella long time. Idk if this is fully canon but it's my interpretation of it.

I do beleive writers planned to expand their relationship in cancelled season 9. And what we see so far was just a build up for this. But omniverse later get cancelled, affectivelly limited us with just build up.
Dude but this are the greater problem with omniverse, they changed so many things with out a plan or explanation build only because something or some text who show up in classic series, I'm still mad abot Kevin retcon, and a really know about everything Dercik said about Agreggor and how the things work now, but if they make at least two or three episodes building a explanation before changing something that can be much better!

The other crew's build entire seasons (like Julie story) or entire arcs (Like Agreggor and Ultimate Kevin arcs) and they just use 1 or 2 episodes to change that and don't work in a explanation good enough in the series.

Even as a kid, I always assumed that when Ben and Kai got married, it was because they reconnected as adults. They would both be established in their careers and were a bit like the parents from the Secret Saturdays.
However, with the character assassination of Ben and the lack of character from Kai. I honestly can't stand this ship. And I can't stand the character of Spanner. Literally, the first thing they tell you about time travel is to not devulge time altering information.
So, the first thing they do is have him tell Ben to not bother with any other relationship because he's gonna marry Kai in the future😐🙄🤦🏿♀️
I can only imagine Spanner coming home to his timeline, only to be told his parents are getting a divorce and Kai already has an alien side piece to nobodies surprise. Kai and Ben in omniverse just come off as the annoying couple who are always fighting and make it everyone else's problem.

unfortunately Kai met ben first in the original sereis as children and they already did a future episode which featured their kid. Yet they still made Kevin redeem in the sequel series despite being a villain again in that same episode, so yeah they could have switched Bens future wife and kept the other ben 10,000 as an alternate future.

You can tell which girl is more important based off whether they're related to Ben's aliens or not.

-Kai had dominatrix tendencies wanting Ben for his aliens and keeping him as a pet ever since they were 10, while in omniverse she is a complete opposite of classic, yet Ken (their son) had the same skin tone as Kai since his episode in classic so it was most likely "fated" then
-Eunice was a device which copied Gwen iirc, so that would be incest
-Looma and Attea only served comedic purpose
-Julie left him for the dumbest reason after a single phone call and still needed him to save her and her sorry new bf
-Ester left him for Antonio ffs, after all the situations where they made a pretty great team like the reason she was made leader of her clan in her debut episode.
In conclusion Rook+Fistina for life, because Ben's romantic encounters onscreen were s*** on by the writers
Eunice is not related to Ben.
Does Ester participate in the season finales? No. Was Ester an emotional support for Ben? No, even Ben didn't even want to talk to her in her last appearance. Did we learn anything new about her after her debut, why is she half human? NOTHING.

@@is17a985 She is the unitrix (early omnitrix prototype only being able to store one sample/transformation; uni=one) and the moment they found her pod she copied the dna of who touched the pod first, and it was Gwen. She even borrowed some of her clothes and they were a perfect fit

I thought Rook didn't like Fistina- Welp, your ship your opinion. Personally, I don't ship anyone in Ben 10, the exception being Gwevin at times, they have things I dislike about them but they're decent compared to everyone else, which makes my point, no one else in Ben 10 can be shipped without having its really big downsides because the writers are shit at romance.
Fun fact: omniverse ben 10’s voice actor is married to ester’s voice actor in real life.

In my opinion Julie and Eunice are the best matches for Ben, but I think they had to stick with Kai because of the episode of Ken 10 in the OG series, he was shown to look similar to Ben at that time but had a much darker skin tone, which resembles his mothers'. Kind of makes sense if they wanted to stick to the canon event back then, but they could have just shrugged it off by saying it was another universe and kept Ben with Julie or Ester or Eunice....
