Yes exactly! Since the skyactiv G are direct injection they can build up carbon so by doing this it reduces a bit the build up over time, still have to clean the valves over time though.
I didn't 😅 I feel like the bumper is holding fine without them TBH and I look at some guys running quick releases for their bumpers with barley 2 clips holding the whole thing without any issues.

Yes it does, as long as it's pre facelift 14-16 as the 17-18 have a different one
